Ive gotten my haircut twice at modern barbershop by Michael. He is really nice and gave a good haircut. if you want the best possible service with the shortest possible weight call ahead because they use a number system. You can get a number ahead of time that way you dont lose your spot in line, they might skip you but if you show up and are the next number you will be next up.

I’ve been going to modern barbershop for over 20 years since I was 16 yrs old and I’ve been charged 15 dollars now they charged me 30 dollars for a haircut smh and to add to that I got the worst haircut I have ever gotten so I won’t be going anymore

Grab a number, or walk in. The barbers are very sociable. It is always a good experience when you sit down for a haircut here. I love the strait razor at the end, cant beat it.

Its a Barber Shop. No frills or other nonsense. They do good work, but walk-ins arent practical. You really need to call ahead or make an appointment if you want a cut. I waited 45 minutes and had to leave before they called my number. Expect your haircut to take at least that long. There wasnt a line out the door either, I had to wait until the appointments had trickled in before my turn, but got called away. My guess is that it would have been at least another half hour before they would have gotten to me.

Inspire of the name, Modern, it was an old school experience. Excellent haircut, with memories of Barber shops from my youth.

Call ahead, get a number ask for how long a wait it will be and drive over for your haircut. This greatly reduces the time sitting in the shop waiting for a cut.
