I started going here about 2 years ago. My cat had a terrible allergy and the vets here did everything possible to alleviate her symptoms. When she passed, I received a beautiful card from all of the staff. The veterinarians, techs, and like, 3 of the front desk people are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this place…. If you have money just laying around. Please do not bring your pet here if you cannot afford it. There are better options. They may not look as pretty, but your pet will be cared for just the same. And the receptionist may not charge you for treatments already done. And they might acknowledge you when you enter their facility. And it’s quite possible they won’t quote you $300 lower for a new kitty visit/rabies shot/spay, then ring you up at the end of the visits like, surprise!It’s quite possible this is a wonderful place for rich people and their pets. Maybe you’re paying for the wonderful vets and their techs. And the 3 absolutely Lovely people in reception. I don’t know. I do love many aspects of this clinic, but I’m just a little too poor.

After 2 weeks of misdianoses by other clinics, a friend recommended Carriage Animal Hospital. This doctor took the time to listen, exam, run tests, blood work, etc to finally get to the root cause of my cats ailments. I am beyond grateful for the compassion and care this staff has shown my cat and me. And I am thrilled to have finally found a trusted vet clinic for all my pets in the future.

Dr Steve is the best, as well as the staff…can’t ask for anything more. During COVID, Dr Steve even comes out to your car with your furry friend, explains the current situation & addresses any of your concerns. The staff are so friendly, professional, and proficient. Carriage makes you & your furry friend(s) feel like home, that I trust them like family.

I brought my 5 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix here for the very 1st time for a teeth cleaning. The staff was wonderful. It was a 2 step process. Due to COVID restrictions I couldnt go inside, but the Doctor came out to the car and spoke with me about the procedure, answered my many, many questions, and was so nice. I never felt rushed and the Doctor made me feel more comfortable with the procedure for my dog. I would (and will be) recommending this animal hospital to everyone! Also, price was the best around - and I shopped around. So happy with their customer service and caring attitude.

Very fast and professional care. There is no problem, for example, with sending the test results by e-mail. The doctor is always ready to talk. If you are on time you will be served very quickly.

Weve been going to Carriage Animal since the late 1970s. our 4th golden retriever is now in their excellent care along with our cat. we just boarded both for 10 nights and it was great knowing they were in a safe and caring location!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We brought our dog in for a stool check, and booster shots. They said they would call us after the results were in.. we never got a call. So we finally called them and the lady was confused . Told us if the results are negative they dont call... which Is odd. But okay. We go in today for the second booster shot. The doctor comes out side to talk to us . And had the nerve to say we should learn how to check our voice-mail... we told him what his employee told us. He told us his notes said they left us a voice-mail. Another lie. Never again will I ever bring my animals here nor will I recommend them

I do not have the words to express how happy I am with my experience. I just had two of my dogs spayed. Both Newfoundland’s. 3 and 4 years old. Wow! Just wow! The whole staff is amazing. From the front desk to the vet techs to the vets! Dr Manna was Awesome! She did such a wonderful job. I highly recommend Carriage Animal Hospital.

Front desk staff very attentive and caring for our two dogs Dexter and Sugar. Dexter was brought in recently with swelling under his eye and we were fairly certain it was due to a tooth infection. It was diagnosed as such. After two weeks of antibiotics, he was brought in for tooth extraction and teeth cleaning, which required him to be sedated.Everyone was very professional and very caring for our little guy. We were nervous due to his age, but he came through as well as we could have hoped for! The outcome was excellent! Price was reasonable.The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the front desk, while very friendly and attentive, has given us different information from time to time, both when we’ve called and in after-care. Some may be new and working through training? it’s never intentional we don’t feel, but just a mixed message from time to time. One person will tell us one thing when we call, then when we arrive we are told something completely different or met with some confusion. We wonder if the staff is checking our dogs history and chart or just winging it? Inconsistent at times.That’s the only issue we’ve ever had since switching to Carriage for our dogs since moving into the area. Treatment has always been friendly, attentive and caring, the facility is always spotless and well maintained.

Carriage Animal Clinic is the best. They cared for my 12 1/2 year German Shepard for his entire life. Our dog was a big gentle giant who loved the outdoors. Because he loved to smell and the outdoors he caught some sickness more than the normal house dog. But, Doctor Szczepan Sekowski caught everything early and accurately including Mange and Leptospirosis. Doctor Sekowski saved his life by catching these diseases early. Two of our children have dogs and they both bring them to Carrriage because of the excellent care. When Rufio die they sent our family a sympathy card which had hand written notes from every one at the clinic - They care for their patients!! If I ever get another dog I will for sure bring him to Carriage. Carriage is terrific - Thorough, loving and caring. Thank you,

Switching to this vet years ago was the best decision for my pets. Dr. Sekowski and staff are amazing; they know my animals well and even helped to properly diagnose my dog with epilepsy after years testing elsewhere. I cannot recommend Carriage enough if you are looking for a regular vet for your furry family!

Amazing staff and Doctor that care for you and your pet. We were not from the Lombard area when our puppy fell from a hotel bed and we googled nearest animal hospital. Luckily for us Carriage Animal Hospital came up in our search. Very caring staff greeted us and got us right in to see the doctor who gave our puppy a good look and reassured our fears. The facility was also beautiful. If you live in or near the Lombard Illinois area this is the place to entrust the care of your beloved pet!

If I could give 0 stars I wouldTook him to get all his shots up to date paid a fee of 219, our puppy later through out the day got a swollen face, and decided to call them, they said to bring him in when we did they still wanted to charge us. Our puppy was fine before even getting the shots. Unprofessional.

We brought our 130 lbs dog here at the last months of his life because we heard they do house calls and had some concerns about transporting him to a vet in the event of an emergency. Our dog previously received all of his care at VCA Aboretum view which seemed to be very. very expensive. The pricing and the care at Carriage has been amazing. We feel like we were being robbed all this time at the other place. The staff here are very compassionate and professional. Although we never used them for a house call, there was always a piece of mind knowing we could.I wish I had found them years ago.

Dr. Sekowski is incredibly compassionate, upfront, and takes extremely good care of his patient pets and customers. I unfortunately had to put my best friend down today, and since COVID I couldnt go inside, but Dr S carried my dog outside with a IV and put him down in the passenger seat of my car. You can tell this Dr. cares very much for his patients and customers. Thank you again Dr. take care. RIP Jax

Updating my review (still 5 stars)I have been bringing my corgi here since she was a pup and I have nothing but amazing experiences with the vets and all the staff at this location and one of their sister locations in Glen Ellyn. I absolutely love this facility and have recommended this location (and Dr. B and his staff) to several people. Not only are the vets and staff amazing, the doggy day care is amazing, as well! My Minnie loves going to the day care almost every day and the staff is always so welcoming! My Minnie gets so excited to come here that she literally starts pushing me out of my car before Ive even had a chance to unbuckle my seat belt. Please give Carriage Animal Hospital a try; they do not disappoint!

I decided to try the place out because it was local and my dog had swelling on his face.They did get me in very quick and front office I had no issues with.When I met with the doctor he barley looked at my dog or the swelling and told me it was from an insect bite. He mentioned that he would like for me to first try Benadryl and that may solve it. He then told me I’m going to take your dog an give him a shot to relieve the swelling. Never asking me if I even wanted to get the shot more like I had to. I then refused the shot, went up to the counter and was surprised for a visit fee. I’m in sales and I understand a company needs to make money on visits. I just think the price should be up front.I also feel i didn’t have a doctor who truly cared about the well being of my dog. And wanted to do whatever he could to raise the bill on me.After giving the medicine the swelling did go down.Also when I got him I noticed a bump on his side that I wish he would have taken the time to see.I unfortunately will not bringing my dog back or my new puppy.

Remodeled animal hospital that I chose to take my sick cat to out of many others in the area. Was almost able to get him in immediately, which I appreciated. My cat was urinating blood and they needed a urine sample to do a urinalysis. I brought in as much as I could collect within two days of receiving a container to put the urine in. Lady at the front said I needed to put more in there and that I was never charged for the urinalysis. Ok.... dropped off the urine sample and saw the doc again cuz my cat was still urinating blood. Three weeks pass, my cat is doing well, but have not received any sort of update via phone or results of his urinalysis. Called this morning and the lady I spoke to had no recollection of receiving a payment for the urinalysis and seemed confused. Sure enough I brought my receipt in and got a refund, but am very disappointed that my cats tests weren’t taken seriously and that the ladies up front didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. They didn’t acknowledge how unprofessional that was whatsoever. Will not be returning.

So I came here almost a year ago to get my kitten at the time checked out (just got him).I was interested in your hospital, because I saw a First exam free.So I come in with my husband, and we get into a room. The doctor comes in and asks if we have a stool sample. I have forgotten it, and thankfully, I lived close, so I ran home to grab it. I come back and my husband goes, we can leave! All done!So I ask him what was done. He stated that the doctor then took our cat, and brought him to the back go administer a shot, NOT EVEN INFORMING MY HUSBAND THAT THAT WAS HAPPENING. Next few days, I get an email stating I owe money now.I was informed it was going to be a free exam,and I STILL have no idea what shot was administered. Nor did my husband or I OKAY THIS SHOT.I called after and asked to speak to the manager, and was told he was busy, but that hed call me back. So I gave front desk my name and number, and never got a call back.Fast forward a few months later, I stop in to grab my cats paper work to see what he had done, and I was told by front desk that I couldnt have the paper work til my bill was paid. So once again, while physically there, I asked to speak to a manager again. And once again, I was informed that he or she was busy, and that I can leave my name and number. So I start to give the front desk my number, she writes half of it down, and then looks at me and goes, okay, theyll call you.Never calls me.I will never come back. I hope others are warned.

Weve been going to Carriage for the last 9 years we have lived in Illinois. They have always treated us (and our cats) with dignity and respect. They have seen use through 5 cats (RIP to two of them) and never let us down.

Thought the clinic was going to be great, until my dog actually had a problem. They recommended another animal hospital for the issue my dog had, but when I choose to not pursue a surgical treatment, they essentially stopped helping me. I pursued alternative treatment, but Dr. B would not sign off on either authorization. However, I was told by one of the clinics he had previously signed off through another clinic. All the while, he didnt have the courtesy to call and talk to me personally. Not sure they have the best interest of my pet in mind. Its a shame. Hopefully others have had a higher level of service. Will not be returning with any of my pets.

EDIT: Just had to take my dog back to Banfield to remove the suture they left in her eyelid here after her surgery. Please avoid them if you canWe took our dog n to get corrective surgery for her entropion, which is a condition where her eyelids roll inward. The only thing that went well was the actual procedure itself, which we are grateful for. Im choosing to not recommend them however, based on our experience with the staff as well as inaccurate pricing quotes. We were quoted a high-end and a low-end cost depending on if she would be getting bother eyes done as well as other costs that might come up during surgery. The total cost ended up being about $300 more than the high-end estimate. Thats a huge difference for us. The lack of communication with the staff was extremely frustrating too. One of them said the quotes were for both eyes, another said it was for only one. I still dont know for sure. When we came to pick her up the entire hospital smelled like feces. In the waiting area, in the exam room we waited in, it was nauseating and overpowering. We became concerned during her healing time in the cone because one of her eyes became very red and looked irritated. We called to see if we could bring her in to be looked at, because they told us we could come by any time during business hours for her 5 - day check up. This would have been day 4, and the person who answered was extremely rude and acted like this would be a huge inconvenience. She said well youre just gonna have to wait if you come in today, we have appointments. We decided to take her to our normal vet at Banfield on Butterfield and they said everything looked good. (we love our Banfield office btw and highly recommend them, they made sure to call us the next day to follow up and make sure our doggies was ok). No follow up from Carriage after we didnt show up. When we took her to get her stitches out, the person who came in to do it immediately started checking her underside to remove them, assuming it was a spay. Dont they have charts?? And we were also responsible for holding her while they were removed. Another reason why we love Banfield is they always have two people so they can hold the dog while they give any shots etc. Im just really unsatisfied with the low quality of customer service and apathy of the staff. We will never be returning here.

Does not even deserve one star. Walked in with a bran new puppy was not greeted at all. Front desk staff was rude and seemed like our presence was inconvenient. Once seen by the vet the vet asked us what the problem was with the front desk staff and why we were swearing at them. None of that had even happened. We were very confused why we were getting accused of such a thing. Very unprofessional vet, will never take my animals there again or recommend this to anyone.

Came in without appointment with a tiny Burmese kitten found stuck under boxes right outside my school received good advice and care from all the staff.. They helped us calm down the kitten and were affectionate with it and were very courteousThe vet had a positive and likable personality.. If we went somewhere else I was afraid theyd turn us away for bringing in a stray(?) thank you so much to everyone here even the guy who told us they were supposed to be appt only and then was made to hold a flashlight to find the kitten who escaped under a shelf 😂😂 (He was nice and professional too no hard feelings)

He was very kind and warm, you can tell he loves what he does and puts the animal first. He cares about his customers and explains everything thoroughly and easy to understand. Lovely facility, efficient and capable staff. Its obvious that animals get very good care and that the doctors have their best interest at heart. JJ (Jesse James) received the best care under Dr. Sedkowski who went above and beyond to check out a small nick on his mouth which was abscessed. He took care of the issue while doing JJs neutering. THANKS SO MUCH for your generous and compassionate care, barring the fact that we did not see eye to eye on a cat collar.

My cat (monkey) had a severe fever last week and was hiding and moping around, I honestly thought he was going to die so I got really worried and scheduled an appointment. They got us in right away and they were able to nurse him back to health. He was so sluggish when I brought him in that he didnt even try and bite or fight anyone. When I went to pick him up he was back to his usual self and feisty as ever. It was a challenge getting him out of the cage but the doctor and staff there were fearless and helped the execution of getting him out. They even let me borrow one of their carriers because I didnt have one for him because he never goes outside.They even called to follow up a few days later to see how he was doing. My cat is back to normal and its all because of Carriage. Thank you so much hes my best friend!

Dr. Jeremy & Dr. Manna are the best. The care and love shown to my Shiba Inu Gurl is amazing. She needed surgery to have a bone removed from her paw and I’m telling you from the moment I talked to Dr. J on the phone I knew this was the place she needed to be. I live about 30-45 minutes away and I know this..... I have a new home to have my fur baby taken care. Thank you all for helping me get my Gurl literary back on her feet/paws. ❤️
