Do not rent from this office if you actually need to be able to pick up your car. I have rented from here a couple of times when they haven’t had the car I requested, and I’ve had to make do with a smaller vehicle. This month, they gave away my car to someone else even though I called a couple of days in advance to confirm. They didn’t have anything else for me so I had to get a last-minute rental from the Enterprise up the road, which was much more helpful though it was far more expensive. Strongly recommend avoiding this location.

I wish I could give zero stars.I have had an awful experience. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I was told that I couldnt because the systems were down and I would have to come back tomorrow. I had reserved a compact car. When I arrived the next day, apparently the car was not available and I was instead given a SUV supposedly at the same rate of the compact car. I had already prepaid online and was told that everything was fine. I was charged a $247.00 fee for incidentals and was told that this would be credited when the vehicle was returned. Well as of today, it still has not been credited. I have contacted Budget numerous times and has been told that it was adjusted. I have had to dispute the charges with my credit card company and I am still waiting for the credit. I will never do business with Budget again.

Company committed the equivalent of gross negligence by giving us a unsafe to drive truck.We were moving out of state so they purposefully gave us a truck with horrendous tire alignment and leaking roof in an act to get rid of a hot potato instead of doing anything. Another truck was available but were denied the transfer of it because that one we assume they wanted to keep for local as their good truck to keep. Truck was on the verge of having a blowout with the wire mesh showing from under the rubber. Guys who replaced the tire said the truck was dangerous to drive just from looking at it.

Disrespectful, very high rates, this shop need to be closed forever, it was the worst rental ever had car pick up slow paid 250 dollar for a junk car. I could give them zero stars I would! Never ever have I met such rude people with such poor customer service skills!! It’s unbelievable I reserved a car 2 days ago the location didn’t even have the common curtesy to call and let me know that they didn’t have my car and when I went again to pick up a different car the location was closed and two days later I have yet to get my car I haven’t been compensated in any way for my troubles & everytime the inventory manager contacts me he hangs up on me he won’t even provide me with his name! I will never reserve or rent from this company again!

I rented a car from this location for 3 weeks. Im a disabled veteran and down here in Illinois for surgery. On Tuesday night (1/22) I was driving by around 615pm and pulled in to double check the drop off time for Thursday. The front door was unlocked and there were 2 gentlemen in the lobby.I have never met someone who was so rude. All I said was I wanted to double check the drop off time and the clerks response was WE CLOSE AT 5pm. CANT YOU READ THE RECEIPT!! (yelling) I frequent this area a lot and can tell you that I will definitely not be renting from Budget again. I would encourage you to do the same. F@$& this place!

Mike is the most helpful and easiest to speak with. He was super courteous and when I needed an extension he took care of me write away. Has a good selection but I suppose that depends on what cars are out. Very easy and fast rental process.

Called the night before to order a last minute vehicle. another company tried to say $500+ for the day for a car how laughable. This location was very accommodating and was only 100+ for a 2019 suv. Knowledgeable and friendly. thank you!!

Horrible service. We went there make reservations, but the employees would not even acknowledge that we are even there. We waited for few minutes and since nobody wanted to help us we left. We decided to go to Uhaul down the street. They have excellent service and reasonable prices.

Avoid this place at all cost. When I came to pick up my rental they didnt have the car someone else ordered and refused to do anything about it. I was charged extra on my rental for insurance. I told the kid when I picked up the car i already have insurance and everything paid through Hotwire. He decided to charge me for their insurance too and now they say there is nothing they can do about it. When i was dropping off my rental an older couple wasnt able to get their car because they simply didnt have one for them. When I was trying to settle my problem with their customer service i was consistently interrupted by the little kid they had running the counter telling me I have to close out the car because he has to leave (it was 2:25pm and I had the rental until 3pm). The whole inside of the tiny ghetto little hut they have was extremely dirty and has not been cleaned in months. The floor was extremely dirty and dead spiders were hanging off their signs. The car that I rented had what looked like pop stains on the dash and food crumbs in the seat.

Worst possible experience. Did not have the reserved car so they gave us the only SUV they had on the lot. Vehicle given had warning lights on, smelled of marijuana, had to return it next day. We couldn’t endure the smell. Agent told us this was a “locked” reservation and we had to pay for 2 days. After I told him I was going to call the 800 number he stated “that would be pointless”. Did not care about any complaints and asked me to come back with a receipt for the gas I had barely used to get the car to and from my house. Please do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere!!

DO NOT EVER RENT A TRUCK HERE. They confirmed my reservation by phone yesterday, 10.12.13, and had the audacity to ask if it would be returned earlier because someone else had reserved it on Monday. Today,10.13.13, they called me an hour before my movers arrived to tell me they did not have a truck. I was then called from inventory to tell me there was one in Naperville. I WAS MOVING EVERYTHING IN LOMBARD. I was not even going to use the truck for more than 4 miles total. My movers were able to rent a truck from somewhere else in Wheaton 15 minutes before they closed.

They have best deals in town.

Forced a more expensive car on us despite having made reservations weeks in advance. And on both ends of the trip no one was at the location for ten minutes or longer. The absolute worst

** DO NOT BOOK FROM HERE ONLINE**I have booked a car on 01/10/2017 online and booking was confirmed. But as soon as we reached there for pickup they dont have the same range of car available. They have offered a standard SUV for a higher price. The person there was not taking any responsibility and as a matter of urgency I have to pick the SUV at a higher price. Its looks like a prank, that they are confirming the bookings without availability check and when customer arrives for pick up they are forced to go for some other vehicle for a higher price.

Do not go here unless you enjoy hassles and hidden fees.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!My 8 1/2 month pregnant wife went in after reserving a midsize car online. Fez was the agent she worked with who convinced her that a Kia Rio, a sub-compact, 2 classes lower than what we paid for online was actually a midsize. I feel for her because she questioned him three times not believing him and he reassured her that the car was midsize.I went back in cause you know, my wife was just ripped off by Fez. I asked to be either given a midsize car or the sub-compact rate. He then told me the cars dimensions are midsize, just not the engine, and that if he were to give me the economy rate it would cost me more because my $20.00 coupon wouldnt apply.It was impressive to say the least that he continued to try to convince me that he was right and would not do anything of his own free will to solve the problem.Either way I ended up having to go to another budget location to exchange the car to get an actual midsize. If you want customer service or honesty this is not your place
