I sought Alex Bairds services to transition through some pretty significant life changes. Id planned for three or four months of therapy, or six months at the most. Ive now been meeting regularly with Alex for more than a year. Alexs insight and perspective have been more than tremendously helpful to me -- they have been indispensable. She is pleasant and easy to speak with, but shes also very professional and obviously highly qualified. I would recommend Alex Baird without reservation, and I already have, on several occasions. Oh, I also find her rates very reasonable compared to others in the Logan/Cache Valley area.

Alex really has your wellbeing as her number one priority. She is an excellent listener who is patient and knowledgeable. She is also unafraid to give real talk in an inspiring way that is positively challenging. She expertly teaches ways to practically manage depression, anxiety, and more. She has taught me realistic ways to change my life. I would recommend her to anyone in need of therapy.

Ive been going to Alex for about 5-6 months now and plan to continue for however long I need. I went to Alex after some an especially taxing time in my life. I am a transgender person who only just recently came to terms with who I am and while I thought I could really learn what that meant on my own, it turned out I needed help especially since my significant other was going through a rough time and wasnt as emotionally available to help. Alex is very flexible with scheduling, charges reasonable rates, has experience with LGBT individuals and the issues they may have, and even suggested that I attend sessions how I wanted to present. Thats is definitely hard to find up in Northern Utah. I had a lot of shame and embarrassment relating to me being a transgender person and Alex has helped me face them. Our sessions have been varied from just listening to me vent about what has been bothering me to more of a back-and-forth conversation of how to tackle some of the more fundamental issues that I have. If you are considering therapy for issues not just LGBT, I would recommend her. Just remember that with therapy, you get the most out of it if you approach it with an open mind and are honest with your feelings.
