Ill be honest, Ive not had much dental work done throughout my life, and the times I have been, were terrible. But this guy, in the matter of 1 - 1 1/2 hours, completely changed my whole mindset. Ive had cavities drilled that hurt more than him removing my molar. I literally did not feel a thing, and it took 2 maybe 3 minutes tops. If anyone is seeing this review, DO IT. BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

I think to seldom people write reviews when there are exceptional things to say. My sister prepaid for her wisdom teeth removal. During surgery Dr. Matson used less anesthesia than they anticipated and before she even left the office they refunded her money. This isnt something that she would even know if it did or did not happen. They could have kept money as she was none the wiser what happened during the procedure. Their honestly and integrity is amazing along with good dental care.

I really hate to do this. Im sure he does really good on the simple everyday stuff. I finally found the right doctor at the U of U. Update: Ive lost 5 teeth and 2/3 of my jaw bone to undiagnosed Osyeomyelitis. I will take a lot more surgeries in bone grafting sand implants to restore my mouth. I cant even return to the previous type of job I did because of how fragile my jaw bone is. My whole life has changed.

Great doctor! He was so good with my son. And, great with me, explaining the procedures. 4 wisdom teeth out and 4 expose and bonds today. Very impressed with Dr. Matson, especially the phone call tonight checking on my son.Ill refer Dr. Matson to all!

Dr. Matson was wonderful with my 14 year old daughter, Rachel. The surgery went smoothly and there were no difficult after affects. Everything healed up nicely and the orthodontist was also very pleased. Dr. Matson happened to be doing her surgery at the exact time of the solar eclipse in Logan in 2017. Even though she was drugged, he wheeled her out in a wheel chair as she was waking up so that she could see it. He spent a little time with her and let her look through his eclipse glasses. That extra care really endeared us to Dr. Matson!

Dr. Matson and the entire staff were exceptional! Everything from the initial consultation to the procedure was professional, comfortable, and (best of all) affordable. Dr. Matson and his assistants did everything to make the procedure fast, comfortable, and effective. Dr. Matson even contacted me later that day to check on my progress after the procedure! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an oral surgery procedure.

Dr. Matson did a great job with my oldest son, with his wisdom teeth surgery. the Jamba Juice treat afterward is a bonus for the patients, too! No straw, as instructed (of course)! Taking my 15 yr old now to get his 4 out.
