Forget Mr Mac! The Kater shop is where you need to go! These guys enjoy making you look good! They had my suit altered in better than expected time! Can’t say enough about this crew!

Needed a shirt shoes and pants for a wedding that night snd they were able to tailor the pants for us just in time!!!! They did accidentally give us a short sleeve instead of a long sleeve, and because of the short notice we had to wear it for the wedding but when I came back To return the shoes they were very helpful with that situation!! Their service never ceases to amaze me!!!!

Incredible and outstanding crew here at the kater shop. I have come back time and time again starting with my wedding and have had the best service and suits about the only thing they cannot fix, customize and change is my weight but after years and 30 plus pounds later I find myself back here getting another fantastic suit. Would recommend to anyone and everyone for any occasion and any budget.

This shop is fantastic. They are super helpful and informed on their products. How ever, if you are going on a mission, do not buy the CTR clothing dress slacks. They work fine for occasional use, but they will begin to come unsewn after about 7 months and you will be constantly fixing them, especially if you are in a 3rd world country where you are hiking through jungles and mountains. I reccomend &collar or Lulu lemon. Great place to shop though with awesome prices and cool staff.

Great Service and a fast appointment. I was able to get most of my Mission shopping done here and it only took a little over an hour. The salesman know what they are talking about. And the prices are fair. Thx Kater Shop for helping me out!

My husband loves both his suits from here. Not long after he got them, he had to go to work in his suit but part way through the day started running network cables through the ceiling and completely tore open the side of his suit pants by the pocket (aka, his fault - the quality of the suit was not to blame haha). He took it to the Kater shop to ask them about pricing to have it repaired and the seamstress was there and fixed it in about 10 minutes. We love the Kater Shop. We will definitely be going back for future suit purchases.

Best place to go get fitted for a suit and find exactly what youre looking for.WARNINGMost the time their prices are decent but I saved almost $200 dollars on my tommy Hilfiger suit because I went home and found it on tommy Hilfiger website for almost half the price.But most the time they have great prices and the best clothes.

Great store. I went here to get tuxedo rentals for myself, Dad, and groomsmen for my wedding and everything went very well. They double check fits and styles and educate you in the process. There’s also a great focus on customer service. Definitely coming back if I ever need another rental or suit.

Good people good quality clothing. The owner Mike is an excellent source of information and will make you a fair price on everything in the store. If they don’t have what you want in store they will order it and call you when it comes in. Their seamstress Kathy does great work even completed several items in a rush to get ready for a photo shoot for my Son’s wedding. Highly recommend this clothing store.

Up to date, modern looking, and quick to help. I hate being fitted for a suit and want it to be done quick. I was very happy with how long I was there. Suits look way better and it doesnt smell like old person smell in the store.

Havent shopped there for years. We got a coat from them and they gave us a pick up date and it took another week after that because of some dances they said. They should have known when they gave us the date. When my son was going on a mission the clothes there where more expensive then any other place in town. Will not go back and I tell everyone I know not to shop there.......

Ive been in the Kater Shop of bunch of times and own quite a few things from there. Every time its a great experience, with people who remember me, are kind, helpful and friendly. I never feel like Im being sold to, just that theyre helping me get what I need (even if Im not sure what that is). Definitely my favorite place to get suits, dress shirts and ties.

They had a good variety of modern and stylish suits, shirts, and ties. The staff was helpful and attentive but not at all pushy. The seamstress did a fantastic job with my tailoring. And prices were very fair. Very happy with my experience.

I have worked with the Kater Shop on many occasions. I went in looking for ties for my teenage son and they helped me find ties that were trendy, mom-approved and affordable. I appreciate the way they take care of their customers! Excellent service! I highly recommend them to my wedding (photography) couples for the groom. Really nice suits for a great price. Customer service was some of the best service Ive received. They also do hemming and alterations in house as part of the price.

Very helpful staff. Were very informative and not pushy to sell. I wish they had a bigger selection in my size, but I did come out with 2 very fine suits, and hey, you cant beat a buy-one-get-one deal! They hemmed the slacks for free and had a very quick turnaround for the tailoring, even though it was during the Christmas holidays.

Great place to shop for suits, ties, and other menswear. I have bought lots of stuff from them over the years. Great prices and great selection. I made the mistake years ago of buying a suit from another well-recognized suit shop... big mistake. That other place is now closed. Kater Shop has always taken care of me. My 10 year old son and I were recently asked to be pal bearers at our little nephews funeral. My son had ripped out the hem in one of his suit pant legs so I took it in to see if they could quickly do a same day job to make this work out for the funeral. They not only did it in less than an hour but they didnt charge us due to the circumstance. Thank you Kater Shop! Very classy.

I came here to get fitted for a suit for a wedding. The place is clean inside and the sales personnel were very helpful. It looks focused around clothes for missionaries and weddings. Aside from that Im unfortunately not an expert on suit brands so I cant give you an opinion on how high class the variety of brands they sell are.

Found a great pair of shoes for my husband to replace his 13 year old mission shoes. He was given excellent service while my 1 yr old ran all over the store. They were so nice about her playing in the dressing rooms. It was a relief because I followed her worried they would be annoyed. I am impressed at how nice they were and will go back for other things now too.

I love the Kater Shop. Everyone I have met at the shop is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. This is very important to me because I dont have an eye for fashion at all...I just simply dont understand it. I know it is important though to look good and look professional. Over the last 6 years I have used their expert advise on helping me pick out professional work attire. Everything from suits to golf shirts, polos, to my socks and shoes. Because of them I am able to walk into business meetings with confidence knowing that I look professional, and that I am wearing appropriate styles and colors. The products they sell are quality, wear well, last a long time and stand up to many washings and cleanings. I highly recommend them if you are looking for quality in style products and advice at a very reasonable price.

This past weekend I took my son, who is about to turn 12, into the Kater Shop to get his first suit. We had so much fun as we outfitted my little guy head to toe! We bought a gray suit with matching ties and shirts. His waist was so skinny that none of their belts fit him. The Kater Shop cut down a belt they had so it would fit...talk about going the extra mile. Excellent service, memorable experience and high quality. Chris made the shopping day extra fun too...my son said, He was such a nice guy!

Ive recently been doing business with the Kater Shop and have been impressed with the service. Whether it was getting fitted and having my suits tailored or just browsing to see what was new the service was very good, and the employees are very friendly. Also, a shout out to Alex D. for the great customer service.

Used to like, but right now they deserve 1 star. Last time I went in, I was looking for a wedding suit. The first thing that happened was...nothing. All three of the young men were watching a basketball game on the ESPN app on the computer. When one came over, I told him I saw(and heard) the add for 2 suits for $300. He asked what I was looking for, so I told him a light grey suit. He promptly took us over to the grey suits and told us that they were not on sale since they were better, nicer, and in high demand, but it was not advertised as such. Really bad marketing tactics, also the vibe I got from all the attendants was they were much cooler and better than we were. I might use the store in the future, I really liked them at the old location with the old staff, but far from impressed here. I now buy my suits online for WAY cheaper and BETTER fit(and most the time better material).

Excellent! Professional staff. Great location. Store is wheelchair accessible. They fit my son for a tux, who is in a wheelchair, for a school dance. They got it perfect! All the alterations were exact. I recommend.

As far as getting outfitted for a mission goes, this place cannot be beat. Not only did their clothes look great, it lasted me basically the whole two years while my clothing from other stores wore out much more quickly - some of my pants from Mr. Mac had holes before I left the MTC!The employees of The Kater Shop are friendly and knowledgeable and have always been helpful in getting me a suit that I like and that fits me. I cant recommend this store highly enough for mens dress clothes. Its fantastic.

Went in today for a custom suit consultation and the customer service was outstanding. I hadnt had any experience buying a suit prior, though I had looked up a few things I did/didnt like about style/material/etc. and was hoping to have some additional help once I got started making decisions.I was helped by Josh, and he did an absolutely incredible job with explaining all the different styles, material compositions, and the available packages and their respective costs. He was patient and offered advice or opinions on many things, but he made sure to never make the decision for me (which wouldnt have been a big deal, he definitely knew what would look good and what was more common vs. more bold and distinctive). Not only did he know all the ins and outs of suits, he knew exactly where to find examples of many different options I was presented with so that I could actually see what they would look like rather than having a small graphic on paper to guess by.I was admittedly a little nervous going in to make a big purchase without knowing exactly what I wanted beforehand, but Joshs patience and knowledge helped put my mind at ease. The staff, selection, service, and atmosphere are all top notch.

The Kater Shops the best. Theyre locally owned and family run. Ive done business with Chris for years and know that they run a stand-up business. The store has a really good selection of slim-fit suits now, too. Not sure what a lot of the other suit places in the valley charge, but the Kater Shop has awesome sales. Many people think of The Kater Shop as a missionary store, and they do a great job for missionaries; however, I was surprised to see how affordable their business casual clothing is. I used to go to Kohls for that stuff, but The Kater Shop is my new goto place for my business clothing. Customer service has been great and the selection is great as well. Definitely worth stopping in if you havent been in for a while.

I went in a couple weeks ago and was looking to get some shirts and ties. When I came into the store there was no one to be found and I had to look around the store until I found all the sales guys hanging out shooting the bull. I then asked if I could get some help finding out sizes and one of the guys pointed where to go. I went through the product, found what I liked and continued to look around. Throughout my entire time there (which ended up being about 40 minutes or so) I was not asked if I needed any help. No one explained any type of sale. There was just zero customer service. Now I work in retail and I understand it gets busy but it was dead in the store. I go out of my way to be friendly and I have never been a customer to just ignore or brush off sales associates by saying Just looking. I wanted help but no one was willing in that store. I wanted to leave because I was just dumb founded on the awful customer service but I always support local. I picked out what I wanted and I had to go get a guy from the back to help write it up for me. He also did not give me any customer service and was rude. All in all I left the store very disappointed and the only reason I am giving them a star is because I like my shirts and ties. They have good product but the customer service was terrible and they have lost my familys business.

I was disappointed with the service. I like to support all of our local businesses. I bought a shirt from them. They measured me and gave me the shirt, so I didnt worry about trying it on. I didnt need it for a couple months. Later I tried it on and it was much larger than me. I took it back, and they wouldnt let me exchange it for another one because it had been longer than a month. I spoke with the owner and explain what had happened. He said he wouldnt help me. It was my mistake to not see the sign that said this was the rule. However, it had never been warn, and I just wanted to exchange it. He was right that he was not required to exchange the shirt, but this is not customer service to me. Customer service matters a lot, and they have lost my business. I hope you have a better experience.

The guys at the Kater Shop are very professional, well dressed, and willing to help you look amazing for your special day (wedding or prom, etc.). Their knowledge on current trends is amazing, and their inventory is huge! Just step in the store and theyll take care of you!

Bought my sons missionary clothing and other missionary items at the Kater Shop. 16 months into his mission his pants ripped and his shoes all but fell apart. Kater Shop went above and beyond to help us replace the items. Very impressed with their customer service! Very easy to work with!

Disappointed with the service. I found a suit I really liked there, so I tried it on. The jacket fit really well, but the pants were too tight. I asked if I could get bigger pants and they said I could, but I would have to get a bigger suit, which means the jacket wouldnt fit. I dont feel like my request was too much, but they were willing to let a customer walk out of the door over it.The fact that they were willing to let me walk out of the door without putting any effort into finding a way to let me buy the suit that I wanted gave me the impression that they dont care too much about individual customers.

Not a big fan of the Kater Shop due to their prices being not very competitive with other shops. Their quality isnt higher than other places like Mr. Mac or other suit shops, but they charge higher-than-market prices. They dont have a great selection of ties or suits, either. They had a big sale recently that vaguely advertised a lot of discounts on a lot of merchandise, but when I got there, the sale was much smaller than I anticipated.Kater Shop is a one-stop missionary store, which is nice, but again, so are other stores in the Cache Valley.

If i could i would give no starts. I wish we would of read the reviews before renting.We would of been better off going to Leven. We rented my husband a suit for our wedding on Saturday. He went in on Friday to pick it up and the pants were too big. The gentleman helping us gave him a new pair that fitted good and when he brought it home. The pants were too big and too wide the vest and shirt were also to big. When i took it back i talked to some one about. Only to be told that if the shirt fit around his neck there was no problem cus no one was going to see it. And when i told him the pants were too big and the size my husband had tried on were a 36 not a 40 he stated my husband would not be able to fit in 36. Thanks Kater shop for calling my husband fat. And making my husband look horrible on our wedding day. Worst place ever.

It was literally the worst experience with a clothing/suit/tux store of my life. I rented just shirts from them and they made my wedding day so stressful. I told the same kid working there probably 6 or 7 times to not get the fitted shirts. He assured me again and again that that wasnt even possible and that they didnt have fitted to rent, just traditional. I told him specifically that my brother is over weight and will not fit in a fitted shirt. Sure enough, shirts came and all of them were fitted. Every single one of them. They didnt bother to even tell me until I noticed. I will never buy anything from there. Workers have no idea what theyre talking about and will just tell you what you want to hear. No refund for the shirt or any compensation either. Pathetic!!!!

The service from 2 of the 3 individuals I encountered was very rude (the sales associate was the only helpful person). Likewise, I, like other reviewers, quickly noticed a serious lack of quality in the suit I purchased. The first time I put it on the zipper teeth split and the shoulders have held up very poorly. I bought a white bottom down shirt more than 10 days ago(longer then thier return policy), but before I worn it, and notice a defect. They do not have the same size in stock, but would not allow me to return the shirt. I either had to exchange for a size that would not fit me or keep defective shirt. I wont be back
