We couldn’t have picked a better venue to host our wedding. The place was beautiful, the food was amazing, the staff is incredible. Everything that you could want or expect from a Venue is offered at The Elan. Ericka responds quickly and is so helpful, Maria was an excellent bridal attendant, Steve was a great Maitre D, Ari the owner has done an excellent job with this location. The Chef won me over at the tasting menu. The wait staff was amazing, all my guest were talking about how friendly and kind they were. Love this place! 5 stars for me.

When I walked inn at Ellen to look for a place to hold my bday, I didn’t know what to expect, but Erica welcomed me with a warm smile and assured me I would receive the kind of service I was looking for such as food and drinks. Ellen executed as requested, the food was excellent, starting with the amazing cocktail hour to the salmon and steak not to mention the bar tender and those amazing waiters and especially who also seemed to enjoy the dancing. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I came to do my bridal shower and get ready in my suite, no AC the room has no plugs, my makeup was melting and I was sweating and I asked them to bring in a fan and they said that AC works when in reality it didn’t and they just don’t want to do their job! I had to call the phone every time I needed something and no one would answer or they would hang up in my face! I asked for special requests and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING RIGHT! They made me pay crazy money for an event they did not even bother to check on!They simply don’t care about you, all they want is the money, so if you’re looking for good service this is not the place to go because they stressed me out, were disgustingly rude, and did nothing I asked for! STAY AWAY I promise you this is not worth a single penny! For the price I paid to these people I should’ve gotten a way better service, they’re not there to do their job all they do sit on their desks all day as if they don’t have events to coordinate, they make you do their job! They only answer your calls and emails when you say I want to pay, otherwise your requests for your event will have to wait! I just wish I could give a negative star because one is already too much!

One thing I appreciated about this place was that the AC was on full blast. I danced all night and I didnt even break a sweat. The building was accessible through the front driveway with free valet parking. Going to an event on a rainy day all dressed up was easy.

My wedding was on May 21st and the staff at the Elan did such an amazing job words can’t explain on how perfect everything really was and how much fun I had staff treated me and my guest like royalty and I was constantly getting checked up on making sure I was okay and if there was anything I needed Steven did a fantastic job on coordinating everything perfectly and making sure I wasn’t stressed, my bride was about an hour late & to the wedding and the rest of the wedding went so smooth I forgot we were an hour behind on schedule I enjoyed every second the food was so delicious! The Rooms were so beautiful And I couldn’t be happier then choosing to do my wedding at the Elan! Thank you so much for making my wedding & all my memories about my wedding perfect!!

The only positive experience from this venue was brought to us by a young lady named Erica. A man by the name Steven portrayed to be someone that we could work with and very respectful until the actual day of our wedding. He was very rude to our wedding coordinator & decorator, he also lied about things he said he would make sure happened on our special day and was extremely difficult to work with. He told us we could bring in our own liquor outside of the open bar and he would store it to have it on our table after our ceremony. I purchased 2 bottles of champagne, in which only one was opened and brought to us the day of. Steven spoke to the people working to make our day perfect with such a lack of professionalism that one of his co workers had to pull him aside, afterwards he was a bit apologetic but still unacceptable. There were also a few other things that as a couple being married for the first time we had to learn the hard way. I suggest anyone who is not a resident of NJ do their research before booking such a venue. The food was great as the other reviews mention as well. Safe to say if Steven was not involved everything would have been a lot better.

Had my wedding here and I must say the people working your event will go above and beyond. But be careful with the final arrangements because the people in charge may not communicate every detail. Just be mindful and send an email and make a phone call to avoid headaches.

Had my daughters Sweet 16 at The Elan February 2020. They made the whole planning experience easy. The food was amazing, the staff was wonderful, and most of all my family and guests had an AMAZING evening! PS. The cake from Palermos was gorgeous and tasted so good..

My wedding was on May 21st, and it was a dream. It went so smoothly, I have absolutely nothing remotely bad to say. I was treated like a literal queen by the staff, especially by the lady that helped escort me. Everyone was so personable, it felt like I already knew them! Despite being an hour late, I didn’t feel rushed at all. We were treated amazing the day before during our rehearsal, and definitely during the wedding as well. I definitely recommend having an event at this venue, you won’t be disappointed!

One week ago today, my husband and I were married here. From the first day we met with Ari and Ryan, they made everything so easy for us. Ari is the owner and Ryan is the owner of AllStar DJs, the service they use for their entertainment and photography. Our event manager, Steve was our go to man once we had booked the venue. They made the entire experience so seamless enjoyable. The week of our wedding, the state of NJ started placing new restrictions due to the rise in Covid-19 cases. We were told not to worry that they would make sure to follow the new regulations and keep on top of it should it effect our wedding.Prior to Covid-19, my husband and I had planned to go to Norway for a destination wedding. In an effort to save money, we did our centerpieces, table cards, and all other little touches on our own. All things considered, I have to say that they did a phenomenal job of making it feel like the winter wonderland we had hoped for! We booked the Allesandro room for our reception (I believe thats the name... Sorry! Still have bride-brain haha) which can seat up to 150 people. Our final guest list was 33 people, and the minimum is 50 people to book. So, we paid for 50 people and the wonderful staff packaged up the extra food for us to take home (we wound up splitting it amongst the families).My bridal attendant, Maria, was spot on the whole day. Refreshing our drinks in the bridal suite making sure my husband and his groomsmen had refreshments, bringing us food during our cocktail hour (we sat in the bridal suite to enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet), and at the reception she was taking care of my mother and father and calling them mom and dad (which my mother absolutely adored). Steve worked behind the scenes to make sure our tea ceremony (held prior to our wedding ceremony) went seamlessly, and to make sure everything was perfect. Steve even took the decorations we had for our cake and applied them for us, taking yet another thing off our plate.Considering we didnt have our food tasting until 2 days before the wedding, and only tasted 2 items we were serving at our wedding, we were pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was. My whole family (were Polish) were raving about it for days after. There was even some squabbling over who got to take what home, because it was so good and everyone wanted to take some haha The chef apparently prepes alone during the days prior to the events, in order to ensure safety amongst the staff due to covid. Hes very cleanly, and with all the restrictions and concerns, hes even more so now. The bartender was also spot on- remembering peoples drinks and making sure they were nice and strong!The Elan made our little wedding feel like a huge, glamorous affair. We lucked out and were the only event scheduled that evening, so we had free reign of the place. The staff was courteous, and had masks and gloves on at all times. Hand sanitizer was readily available and placed in high traffic areas. They did a wonderful job of making sure our guests felt safe and secure. They were great at getting things done without getting in the way (Ive had brides tell me that their event staff kept bothering them and ruined the magic of their day- definitely not the case here).I could rave forever about how incredible this place is. From the gorgeous rooms, to the wonderful staff, Steve and Rachel making sure everything ran smoothly from behind the scenes, Maria taking care of us, the food, Ryan making sure the music and lighting was just right, the ambiance-just all of it! One thing Ill never forget was our first meeting with Steve. I was stressing over small details and he stopped me, kindly, and said not to worry. He made a point of telling me that thats what they were there for, to take care of all the little things so that all we nlhad to do was focus on having fun. TERRIBLE EVENT COORDINATOR. Had a baby shower at The Elan. Staff broke our property, lost items, and did not give us enough time to set up which resulted in our event starting 20 minutes late. We were also rushed out and did not get a full 30 minutes to pack our stuff and leave. It was overall a terrible experience. Beautiful venue, delicious food, and really great bartender. Our event coordinator was terrible. Event started at 10am and our event planner emailed them that she will there at 8am to set up, which they confirmed was okay and that someone would be there to let her in and turn on the lights etc. My event planner arrived at 7:50 and was not let in to set up until 8:30. My wife who is 35 weeks pregnant started getting anxious and stressed out. Overall poor experience. The Elan needs to cover the damages of the property they destroyed asap. Please consider choosing another venue for your next event.EDIT- -- Just spoke to the owner and he straight up is lying! In his response he is stating that our decorator arrived and was setting up in the room, no later than 8:05. This is a LIE. AWFUL customer service and owner not admitting to fault. What a shame. A time to apologize but just lies. I can show you the camera footage lmao that was a cute response. My decorator was texting me at 8:27 still not in the building. She got in around 8:30am after I finally got a hold of someone. He did confirm that they would reimburse a frame they broke so at least they are doing something right.

I was a bridesmaid for a wedding. The Venue is beautiful! Food is great! After the reception was over, myself and my friend went to our car to find it boxed in by a staff car. It was so close that the car couldn’t pull in the whole way. There was no way to get in without damaging my car. I was irritated, but was polite when I asked the valet to find someone to move it. Finally a man comes out. He’s already rude by not acknowledging me. He looks at my car and says he’s going to find whos car is boxing me in. I’m very frustrated at this point because we just want to leave and have a long drive ahead of us. I say I thought you were the owner. This car needs to be moved. He tells me to watch my mouth and that he will find the owner. He also made the comment that now he’s going to take longer to find the owner just to spite us. At this point I’m very angry and express that he cannot treat guests like this. He tells us we are “bad Christians” and that I need to “learn some respect”. He continues to throw out insults about our religion and to never come back. Very unprofessional and will never recommend a place with such rude staff.

Very nice place! Large enough space to hold an event and allow for appropriate social distancing. There was another baby shower happening somewhere on the premises but the space was so big we did not see or hear them. There were even bathrooms near our section so we didnt have contact with anyone other than the guests from our event. All staff wore masks and sanitizer at check in as well as the rest rooms. We were apprehensive about attending an event during a pandemic but this place allowed us to enjoy ourselves while feeling safely distanced from others. Icing on the cake is that the staff was so nice and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend!!!

I’ll start off by saying this place is hands down amazing and the best decision we made for our wedding.Pre-WeddingWe first met with Rachel, 13 months before our wedding and who first gave us a tour of The Elan and went through all the wedding packages that they offer. It’s a very beautiful location, especially the Alexandria room and the Skylight room where we did our ceremony. We were really impressed by the amount of food that they offer for each package, as well as an included Palermo’s Bakery Cake, a wedding day coordinator/ maitre d and a bridal assistant.The road to the weddingRachel and Steven are by far excellent at answering any emails and returning calls. We had so many questions that we thought we annoyed them but they were very patient, knowledgeable, helpful and kind throughout the whole process.We met with Steven, the BEST Maitre D EVER, a few months before to do a food tasting and to go over the new menu that the chef will launch during the wedding season. The food was by far excellent. The chef definitely organized a great fresh, trendy menu that would attract the 20-30s adults, while also pleasing the older crowd and kids. The Elan’s menu ranges from your classic traditional Italian, Latin, Asian, and new American. Steven also made sure we had a signature cocktail of our choice, which was one of the best Mojitos in the North East!Rachel and Steven worked with all of our vendors to make sure everything was going to run smoothly for our big day and it did!Wedding DayWhat more could we have asked from The Elan? They exceeded our expectations and made our day magical and stress free. Also, a special thank you to Maria whom is an exceptional bridal attendant. The Elan is the perfect spot for any special occasion. I recently had my daughters Sweet 16 there and they definitely made all of her dreams come true! Steve and Rachel are the best and were very helpful and friendly from beginning to end. They made themselves available to help out with any last minute details which was awesome. The hall is beautiful and very well kept. The food is great and very tasty. All of my guest loved it and the chocolate fountain was a hit!! I would definitely recommend The Elan to all of my friends and family!!

Venue was setup just as we had planned. Attention to detail was remarkable. Staff, especially, Steve and Marie were awesome. Amazing food and great bar service! I can go on and on about the Elan! The memories I dreamed I would have of my daughter’s sweet 16 are now a reality because of the Elan and their staff.

My niece is scheduled to get married October and has never had her venue tasting due to Covid. Was told by owner Air that she could get a refund within 4 weeks prior if cancelled. Now is refusing to do anything and its 5 weeks before. Totally unprofessional and very poor management. Also was told they were already prepared for their wedding and they have no idea of what they are getting. Would not recommend to any one.

I could not have asked for a better staff to work with for my wedding! Everyone was super helpful and accommodating for all requests my husband and I had. The chef was absolutely amazing to work with and his food was awesome! I got compliments throughout the whole night saying how good the food was! Steven and Maria help to make sure you are not stressed on your day and literally run around the entire time to ensure a successful event. Many of my guests commented about how amazing/ helpful the staff was. I could never thank them enough for helping to make my day so special and successful! My friend had his wedding at this location, while we drove their (the Groomsmen) we smoked a little something-somethingAnd it stained one of our Groomsmen Tux - HOWEVER, one of the representatives took care of it swiftly and with ease. Spent a Saturday evening at a holiday party hosted at The Elan. The valet parking was well run, had a little problem figuring out which room we were in, but the room was nice and the food was all great. The facility in general was great and although the meal was buffet style the service was also very good. We would certainly consider the Elan if we were hosting a similar event.

I can not say enough about our experience at The Elan. We selected The Elan based on a recommendation from a family member who is is the catering business. We valued her opinion for obvious reasons. My dad and I put a lot of time into planning the perfect celebration for multiple family members special birthdays and we wanted to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. Lisa was so amazing to work with every step of the way! She made sure every detail was perfect from the initial planning meeting right through to the end of the party. We had a lot of special requests and we were never made to feel like a burden. In fact, Lisa offered a number of great suggestions that helped bring our vision to life. The day of the party, Dawn was incredible! She handled everything so professionally and was a ton of fun to work with! Dawn took care of all the fine details so that we were able to enjoy the party and have a blast with our guests. People are still talking about what a great time they had and how amazing the food was! I highly recommend The Elan for any special event...I know we will be back for our next celebration!

Food is not good and light

The Elan made my wedding a true fairytale. The staffs attention to detail was unbelievable. Rachel is extremely responsive, professional and efficient. Steven and Maria were so attentive to me and my groom on our wedding day and the wait staff and bar tender were top notch. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the level of service we received throughout our wedding planning and post wedding. I highly recommend the Elan for your wedding or event.

My (now) husband and I had our wedding at the Elan last week and we couldnt say thank you enough to the team at the Elan! From the very beginning we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Meghan was extremely nice and professional when giving us a tour and going over the details throughout the process. She always answered my emails right away and accommodated all of our needs. When the big day was approaching Meghan and Steve were always in touch making sure all of the details were taken care of and that everything we needed was provided. During the big day everything went wonderful! The food was amazing (we loved that the chef come up to us to make sure we were satisfied with everything), the staff were friendly and every guest complimented us on how great and beautiful everything was! Steve and Rhea were always making sure my husband and I were eating, drinking and having a good time! We are so so very happy with the Elan and couldnt imagine having our wedding anywhere else!!! We highly recommend them for any occasion!

Im a Fire Chief in Little Ferry,NJ . We had our inspection dinner event at The Elan Sept.8,2018. In a few words IT WAS GREAT....The food The service & attention to detail was top notch or I should say FIRST CLASS.To please almost 200 Firefights you really have to go all out. We had our doubts about not going to the more popular catering halls and going on a friends recommendation who had been to an event at the Elan, said the food was good. He was right it was outstanding. If you are looking to hold a great event along with having your special day to go without a hitch... I highly recommend The Elan.

Choosing The Elan for my Sweet SIxteen was the absolute greatest decision both my Mother and I have made. I can surely say that my sweet sixteen was a dream come true. Working with Lisa was so helpful. From giving us the best advice, to solving any situation, Lisa was the best to work with. In addition, she answered every question and concern we had. She gave us the greatest idea on having our cocktail hour in the same room as our reception. It all worked out perfectly! Another main reason on why we picked the Elan was because of how great their food is. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Our guests enjoyed the food and agreed that Elan has one of the best foods out of all the venues they have gone to previously. I would like to thank Elan and Lisa with all my heart for making my Sweet 16 so special and unforgettable. I would recommend the Elan to anyone and everyone if you plan on having the best night of your life . Thank you once again.

Very nice location.

I have gone to this restaurant for 3 occasions, 2 of them were weddings and a wedding anniversary. Food was amazing, they had variety of appetizers cold and hot, as well as large selection of entrees. So whether you are vegetarian, vegan or do love meat there is something for everyones taste in that menu. Staff is extremely professional and courteous. The halls being very spacious allows for 2 small parties to be happening in 1 hall, which is great when you dont have too many guests but still want to have the dance floor and great food.

This place was excellent. The venue itself is great and not hard to find. I had my baby shower in the Sky room and the room was beautiful. We had the buffet brunch. The staff were friendly, accomodating and professional. The food and drinks were great and our servers, Stefan and Victoria, were excellent. They made sure we have everything we need and delivered. Steven and Rachel were excellent in meeting our needs for the party. With the price you pay, you get everything you need. I will definitey recommend this place.

The food is amazing. The house sangria is a favorite. The rooms are gorgeous. The entire staff just keeps you coming back. Complete scam artists. They don’t care about you, only your money. Shady, unresponsive, and manipulative. 100% would not recommend. What is supposed to be your dream day will turn into a nightmare.

I had my wedding here two weeks ago. Every guest raved about the food, the bridal attendant and coordinators were all excellent and helped run things smoothly. Everyone was fantastic during the wedding planning answering all my questions I had. Only downside I had was that my signature cocktail was pretty awful for the extra cost. Real Peruvian pisco sours are difficult to make so I can’t blame them

Very cool. Nice decor. Chairs need to be more comfortable. My abundantly blessed trunk was somewhat uncomfortable after several hours of conference. Staff just lovely. Valet Parking. Awesome guys!

Just had my baby shower here on Saturday and everything was great from the food to the customer service! Anything I asked was done right away and with a lot of hospitality. I would definitely recommend choosing your party at The Elan!

Had a fun night. The service was extraordinary and the food was delicious and the place was huge. We had a party of 200 people and everyone fit perfect.

It has a bad service, they are thieves, they tell you one thing and then they do not want to solve it, they do not want to do what the contract says, thieves, thieves, bad service, I do not recommend it to anyone.

I had my daughters 10th birthday party there on 7.13.19 and when I tell you the place was on point and every thing was amazing from the staff that assisted us Stefan, Chantel, and Mike to the service and everyone catering to all of our needs they went above and beyond to make sure that my daughters special day was amazing and I can’t thank them enough for all of there nice hospitality. I would truly recommend for everyone to go and check this place out and have your next special event there they will surely take very good care if you.

I just had my wedding there on 9/23/2017; and my family and my husbands family cant stop talking about how awesome everything was, the tasty and delicious food, the attentiveness of the staff, Steve was always on point and on top of every detail before anyone even thought of it, and Maria, my bridal assistant, my hat is off to her, always there and always so polite and attentive. Meghan was always very accommodating and was so nice and gracious during the tour of the place when we first went. If want an amazing wedding at a good and reasonable price, it is at the Elan Catering and Events in Lodi, NJ!!!! You guys made my wedding better and beyond anything I couldve had ever imagined!!

I gave it only 4 stars because I havent actually been to an event here. I was looking for a banquet call for a baptism and they have a small room that holds max 50. Nice entrance, clean and modern. Staff was very nice and attentive. Their large hall is very very pretty. The entrance from the highway isnt nice looking but once you get in it is very nice.

Choosing The Elan was absolutely the right choice for us. Our wedding was magical. Ari was extremely pleasant to work with; always with a smile and helping us feel at ease at every meeting and always quick to answer any questions or concerns. We had our Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there and every single part of the wedding was perfect! We had our ceremony held in the Skylight Room; it was a beautiful clear and sunny day which made the lighting in the room just fabulous. We requested that the chairs be set up in the unity circle set up which made the ceremony feel super intimate. Our guests loved it! Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious the cocktail hour and reception food were. We had our reception in the Alessandra Room. It was the perfect size for the number of guests we had. We had a couple of requests for our reception room at the last minute and Ari was super quick to make it happen… we are extremely grateful for that, as it completed our vision of the wedding. Special Thank you to Ari, for helping us make our wedding a fabulous one and to the staff for making sure everything ran smoothly that day. We are extremely grateful!
