The owners and staff are amazing. Super friendly and very knowledgeable about their craft. I know I can always count on them to steer me in the right direction when looking for quilting items for my wife.

Phenomenal store. Super cute place. Lovely architectural features. So nice and helpful. Love all their kits and facebook live videos. Wish they would have a weekday that they are open later than 4pm. Fantastic shop!Thimbles store in Lockport is extremely neat and well organized. Every section has something to catch my eye and peak my attention! I enjoy seeing the wide variety of notions, machines, beautiful fabrics and inspirational projects! Numerous displays of beautifully created examples of projects, large and small.Friendly, knowledgeable staff happy to assist, responding to questions without rushing me while I browse. Thanks for answering questions relating to equipment, fabric & accessories while offering guidance and solutions.I have attended a couple (much needed) of in person classes. The serger educator quickly removed my fear of serging!This store has quickly become my favorite and is well worth the travel.Great Thursdays Live via social media.

Great variety of fabrics and very friendly knowledgeable staff who were eager to help when asked. Loved their spacious second floor (there is an elevator) classroom space - light filled inviting space. Nothing bad to report here.

My mom comes here once in a while. This place has everything for your sewing needs. They also offer sewing classes. The choices of fabric that they sell here are amazing. In fact, there are times I wish I could take them all home. If I could, I would come here every day, because that’s how much I enjoy coming here with my mom.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great notion and fabric selection ranging from batiks, to baby, tula pink, solids, and modern trends. The shop is on the corner of a cute downtown street with parking around the corner. My favorite quilt shop I have been to in the greater chicagoland area. Wish I was closer to participate in classes here. If youre shop hopping, make sure you add this to your list as a must!

I love this quilt store! They always have new, fresh, fabric! I travel over an hour to get there, and its worth it every time. They have a lot of their fabric bundled with a pattern and pre-cut fat quarters. Most bolts are $11.99 a yard, for premium fabric. Customer service was very friendly!

Great variety of everything from machines to fabric and thread!! Highly suggest this place!!! The peoole who work here are super helpful and even helped me track down a bobbin case for my brother machine! Oh and actually held it for a month when my schedule got busy!! Love this place!

This store is truly a home town quilt shop type feel. The staff is welcoming, knows most customers by name, and is willing to go the extra mile to help you. Very high quality fabrics and sewing, embroidery, and serger machines available, the only negative is I wish it was a bit closer, but they cant help geography, lol, and that it was bigger so they could offer even more products; which is a pretty positive negative. I would recommend any friend or acquaintance to purchase their machine from here because they have extremely high customer service standards.

Best fabric store I have been too. The pre-made kits are great for a beginner. Their classes are very well done and the instructor (Joyce in my case) was always there to help outside of class. This store does a great job of showing their enthusiasm for quilting through their customer service.

This is one of my go to shops when I need that special something g that is missing from a quilting project. The ladies have always been so helpful and I find what Im looking for almost every time! I have been coming here for years and plan to keep visiting! I love the inspiration that I can get while there and often find myself leaving with an unex6kit or two!

I have a Bernina dealer 5 minutes from me and I drive an hour away just to come to Thimbles! Best fabric and kit selections! Super friendly staff and prices are a bit lower when comparing identical items and other local shops!

They have a large selection of batiks and fabrics by designers such as Riley Blake and Amy Butler. They also carry many new patterns and a great choice of notions.

This is the place you need to go to if you are making that big purchase on your sewing machine! They know their stuff and take their time to answer your questions! No pressure. I am so happy with my Baby Lock purchase!
