They’re open 5 days a week, from 9-5, and you can meet with your counselor once every 6 weeks via phone. Does that sound ethical, or like a good approach to mental health? They don’t care nor are they held accountable by anyone anyway. You’re better off going it alone.
I was a new patient and my counselor rescheduled my appointment I am not too thrilled with this but as far as it being closer and more accessible I definitely give it to Stars thank you
My therapist always came in late, caused me to doubt my own memories of my trauma when I already have enough blackouts and dont need anymore doubt, and upon telling the psychiatrist there about a very personal issue that could have led to an accurate diagnosis, completely disregarded that and out of fear of being hospitalized, I pretended everything was fine and this led to a premature graduation when I was probably at my worst point because of a traumatic experience directly before graduation which I doubt my counselor even believed. Im now waiting to find a better place, possibly psychologist, because most of their focus is on whether or not you take your medication. I could be walking around in a dissociative fugue state, nearly die, make it to therapy, only for there to be seemingly no issue. I did not feel as though I was treated well, I felt as though they were shoving medication down my throat as a cure all even though I did not desire medication, do not believe it helps, and I have been to several therapists since the age of 12. I could tell immediately that the state of this facility was less than desirable. When you feel more like a number rather than a patient, thats when you know that you arent going to get anywhere. -PH
You know it sounds to me as I read one negative 1 star review after another, they all seem to have the same theme running through them. It all sounds like a case of Paranoid Delusional Victimization.Which is of course a Hallmark of mental illness. So its really difficult to try to separate the Delusions of Victimization from the Reality of what may or may not have happened. I mean some of the claims that are being made by people are so outrageous, that theyre to the extent of impossibility. At any Clinic.Thats what leads me to believe that this Delusion of Victimization is whats driving all of this stuff. But of course none of you will agree because youre all caught up directly in the middle of it.Strange🕶
My experience at the Dept Mental Health, I had to file with the Civil Rights commission in Niagara falls on behalf of a disability discrimination among other things. The most disturbing thing is that their supervisors and therpists got together and made up ridiculous lies of things that never happened. My advice to anyone using their services, get a home camera system that will record your visits. They will make up lies on things that never happened. Its alot of corruption going on with senior supervisors who is endorsing this type of bulleying behavior to people with mental health issues. I am not afraid to speak out against their agency and county executives for endorsing this type of mistreatment and behavior from Laura Keleman and some staff members !!!!
I used to go but had a problem with the counsler i was seeing she did not care at all about my problems she sent me letter saying i was dismissed from tje practice because i had another counsler which was not true she lied to her bosses i do not recomend going there to anyone oh and her name is Kerry Collins
