I have been going to JK for many years ( Lockport) Personalized service has always been one of their assets.I Do have a couple of suggestions, though:Sometimes, growth inhibits the personal touch, which is why I have been coming back all these years.Senior citizens and the disabled should get a discount.

Simply horrible.Staff is unethical and supremely incompetent. Items for sale are incredibly overpriced, go ahead, search an item they have, compare it to Amazon, the markup is insane. I could go on and on but theyve wasted enough of my time.Just stay away. Youll save time, frustration and loads of cash.

Best for computer services

I called them for a price on replacing a keyboard on a 4 year old Gateway laptop. They said it would be $25 for the keyboard, $65 for labor and it would take 2-3 days. I informed them that my laptop is how I make a living and I cant go 2-3 days without it. The guy said they could do it in 24 hours for an extra $100. So $190 to do a 10 minute job. I called Ampd computer repair and the guy said the keyboard is $18 and he can do it in 10 minutes for $30 total. J K is a complete rip off!! $65 labor on a 10 minute job means youre charging me $390 an hour labor. Avoid these guys like the plague!!!

I had a problem with my computer. I goggled for a computer repair shop. I started calling, with rates of $60 to $80 or more I couldn’t afford that, I have been unemployed for 5 years. My Cover Letter and Resume were on that computer. All the companies I had contacted and their contact info.I came to JK Consulting on the list and called, Chris answered the phone at the Lockport, IL store. He asked what problem I had, I explained; He said bring it in which I did the next day. He took the CPU few minutes later, it was fixed.I highly recommend JK, They were very polite, personable and very reasonable.
