I would stay away from g&e the owner is a crook my grandparents had an engine rebuild there for 3000 that included a warranty that stated all costs were covered but after three months the engine threw a rod and when we took it back there the owner said it would cost 1200 to repair when asked about the warranty he provided he shrugged and said labor cost. The man would sell his mom for a quick buck. Thats why his son left and started his own place in dale he didnt like the way he did business.

I have never had mechanical work done here but I have gone to them for my inspection for the last three years. They are wonderful! No screaming TV in the waiting room kind and professional service, I highly recommend them for your inspection and I will be looking to them should I ever need mechanical repair.

My car broke down while I was driving thru Lockhart. They were able able take my car in that day and diagnosis the issue. I left my car there for 2 nights since I needed to get back to Austin for work. Very friendly team and knowledgeable. I am not sure how affordable it was but at that point I needed it fixed and it was cheaper than towing it back to Austin and fixing it. I trust the work and men there.

When I first started going here, it was great. As they got busier, it became problematic with several vehicles sitting for 3-4 days before even being looked at. Had several other issues where it felt more like lets throw parts and it and see what happens. We use another company in Luling now.

Came in for an inspection after getting turned away by several places, came in and got my inspection done with great speed. Service was definitely top notch.

We took our 1979 Z28 to get the vintage air charged and they were awesome! Great fast service and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be using them for our vehicles in the future! Highly recommend them!

The day before I was to pick up my wife from the airport in Austin, my Explorers left turn signal failed. I called G&E and they said to bring it in and theyd take a look at it. They immediately took in my vehicle did everything they could, including driving to the parts store to get a replacement relay. Unfortunately, the rely didnt work properly but they went above and beyond in their efforts to fix the problem. I have used this shop for various repairs and service since moving to Lockhart a year ago and am happy to give Guy and his men my highest recommendation. Good people!

Great people, highly recommended.I normally always do my own repairs because in the past I have been disappointed so many times with higher-than-expected bills, replaced-parts-and-still-have-the-problem, or even creating new problems, and above all having to argue about it.Not here - Guy and his guys are great. I have been taking my vehicles here if Im too busy to do things myself right away, or if my wife has issues while Im out of town I tell her to go here.

Took my truck here for a repair quote. A couple weeks later they tell me the did the repairs and I owe $500.Needing my truck and finding the price to be around what I expected, I paid them and drove off.My truck was still having the same problem so I took it back and was very specific about wanting a price quote ONLY. A week later I owe another $495 for repairs I did not authorize. Not cool Guys.

Took forever to hear from anyone. I dont know if they happened to be short staffed at the time, but it took over a week to hear back from them from the time my vehicle was dropped off. They told me my SUV had two possible tank styles (turns out thats incorrect). We fixed the problem ourselves, saving over six hundred dollars. Seemed like a high labor charge for a job that took 3.5 hours and literally no mechanical skill.

The most honest, friendliest small-town business you could ever ask for. They once quoted my dad $800 to overhaul the AC system on a 1995 Chevrolet suburban. The job was supposed to be half a day, it was three days because of a design fail. They lost money, my dad still paid $800.

Took my truck in to have it looked over for any problems. Guy the owner seemed nice enouhlgh but failed to call me and let me know if anything was wrong prior to doing any work to it like we agreed. When I got my truck back a week later the bill was 250$ and he had replaced and thrown away parts that I had a warranty on without consulting me. Completely unprofessional would not recommend to anyone and will not be bringing my work trucks here anymore. Lesson learned.

I went here last year to get a state inspection without any issue, so decided to do the same this year. I was told I need windshield wipers and an LED break light for $190. I was shocked but needed the tags and agreed after they told be they would give me a detailed recieot. When the guy said he could not give me an itemized receipt after the work was done, I explained that AutoZone had the entire replacement break light kit for $50. He just started making up numbers. I gave them two stars because they taught me to get a second opeopin before agreeing to have work done for a certain price and without an itemized receipt.

This is a mom and pop Auto Repair Garage. Is owned by guy mayorca and his family works there with him. I have dealt with these people for almost 40 years in Lockhart from pickup trucks to motorcycles and they take a lot of pride in their work and if its not right guy my orchid will make it right. Its very crowded and busy there they have a lot of work he will do all he can to help somebody thats in a bind and comes in on the street with a quick problem. But he really does go out of his way to treat people right and then make it right which is something you dont find any more in places. So with anything not everybodys happy but he has a large following of people that deal with him.

I question the business practices of M & M Auto Repair to be hazy at best. For months I have called them concerning an NSF check they gave me. First couple of times they assured me they would take care of it. Now, they do not answer their phone when I call.
