After breaking down while driving through Livingston, my husband and I came across this shop from a recommendation from the local barber. We are certainly happy we did! All of the crew was friendly, understanding, and communicative. When we had to leave our vehicle there, they ensured us of its safety and kept us informed of necessary diagnostics and price. We are thankful to have found this shop and would certainly utilize their services if we ever happen to be in the area again!

My sons school helped have a car I just bought March of 2021 evaluated by ATS only, was called and told I needed my engine basically rebuilt ($900)running well over what his school could cover ($300, which ATS was informed of)so I told them to just forget it all and picked it up only to sell it to a mechanic friend for peanuts in August and find out it just needs a timing belt but it seems they did some work and took parts out of my car and just kept them I guess.... Also took another vehicle of mine for a tune up shortly after this and they tried to convince me my brand new ball joints and boots were super old and torn on 1 of them- Chuck, went back to where I had them done and shown to me that I was lied to for an extra 600$.. I hope Aiden sees this. *Also love that I was charged for my inspection when you advertised free inspections at my time off service*

The main reason I took my vehicle to ATS is they contacted my company to do some electrical work there. As I was working there everyone was friendly, the shop was spotless, the employees were professional and knew what they were doing, and the equipment they were using was the latest greatest state of the art stuff. Had a rebuilt transmission put in my pickup this last week. From the time I say to start the rebuild they had it done right at a week. Very professional to work with and did an extremely good job with the build. I will forsure be back here for any future work with my pickup.

Couldn’t be happier!!! These guys nailed it! Very clean install. They did a 700 hp high-performance build on my Duramax and built the Allison to back it up. It’s far superior to its original factory build. On a scale 1 to 10 I give them the 10 easy. They did exactly what they said there are going to. The project was on time, on budget and the communication was perfect.

I had a major repair needed on a diesel Ford pick-up, and shopped around to find a knowledgable and competent shop. McDonnells ATS was recommended by a friend, and after discussion with their staff and mechanics opted for them to complete the repair. Unfortunately, the shop suffered some staffing issues during the repair, yet bent over backwards to complete the work by experienced technicians and as expediently as possible. When I had questions about the bill, I contacted ATS and the owner responded personally with a very respectful response, taking extra effort to be sure my concerns where addressed and rectified. The personable and professional customer service that McDonnells ATS was remarkable. And, I have my truck back and its working great!

My vehicle has been in the shop more than on the road after these guys worked on it I was polite trying to figure out a resolution with them and they were polite but did not seem to get the point of them screwing up my vehicle twice and letting it go with a brake line leak twice!!! They drove the vehicle back to Bozeman for me on my fuel and expected that to be a good enough resolution for my time and fuel trying to pickup my vehicle

My truck had been acting up and no one could get it to repeat. It finally did. I called and the owner said to get it straight to the shop. They were able to scan and diagnose it. They would have had to order a part and it would have been a few days out and I had literally been driving out of town. The owner actually took the part off of his own truck to get me up and rolling and back on the road. Especially as a female, the industry in general tends to treat women like idiots. Hey Aden, I just finished a run on my truck. I loaded up a trailer to transfer house hold furniture and two motorcycles from Billings to Kalspell MT. All went well. The truck starts right up and settles into a purring idle quickly.Cold or warm doesnt matter. So far fuel mpg is estimated 2.5 mpg better than a stock 6.0 Ford diesel. I also noticed egts were much cooler and kept under control on hill climbing under load. I did not have my 11.6 foot slid in camper aboard on this trip. I figured my weight, trailer and truck to be about 11 to12k lbs. With camper on it, the wt. Is around 14k. The pulles very smoothly and shift points are spot on. McDonnells ATS has been my go-to for years. They helped with my fathers Cummins Conversion a couple years back, have always worked with us and our busy schedules. I just recently went there in August for a Transmisson service and had a misfire on my Triton V8 4.6L diagnosed and fixed with a new spark plug and coil. It didnt take any time at all and was reasonably price for the quality work done! Keep up the good work! Would definitely recommend them!!

Ive known Aden for years, well Ive known most of the staff for quite some time not to mention my uncle works there, and everytime I have a problem I cant figure out on my own or with some assistance from my father I always call ATS and Aden and his team are always there to help fix my problem. Theyre very reasonable on prices, theyre patient and very hard working individuals. Theyll stop at nothing to get the job done and get it done right. One thing I truly appreciate is Adens input as well as the rest of the team. For instance if my truck is having some MAJOR issues Aden and his team will let me know in advance wether or not A.) My problem can be fixed accordingly B.) If its a waste of time and money and C.) Wether or not the problem is worth fixing and how much it will cost. I dont ever take my truck anywhere else and never will as long as ATS is open for buisness. Thanks Aden!
