Very positive experience with both salesperson, his manager and the installation company. It took a while to get on their schedule but once scheduled everything went well.

Very happy with our kitchen renovation. I appreciated the complimentary consultation and estimate in my home with samples provided. The project manager kept in good communication with me. My special request was accommodated. The work was done timely. Most importantly, the kitchen looks fantastic and gives me so much pleasure after a decade of living with our late 70s kitchen.

The two installers were very punctual, polite and skipped the usual loud radio music. This was a truly pleasant experience for this much effort to correctly install such a big object in a difficult spot. The workman would seek my opinion for the placement of the equipment. At the conclusion the workman took time to clean up everything and to make sure furniture was in the correct placement. Each day was the same thing. I would recommend them for a complete pleasant experience. The coordinator kept on top of scheduling an d was also a gentleman. Everything went nicely throughout the installation. One little incident occurred and it was resolved without any problem and did not happen again. IThe lead man explained everything in detail and was interested if I understood the operation. I am very glad that I had SEARS and these gentleman accomplish this job. (What was the incident ? too small to rate a comment.)I would try Sears first next time based upon this experience .

Installer replaced original wood flooring in our kitchen and dining room with laminate flooring that matched our flooring in the rest of the house. The installer and assistant moved all of the furniture, covered areas to prevent dust from getting into other areas of our home. Their finished job was excellent. Everything was placed back where it belonged. It looked brand new. They worked long hours and focused on their prep work so that the final product would meet our expectations. This is the best home installer that we have used with Sears (they did 2 other floor installations for us). I would highly recommend Sears and this floor installer.

We had an air conditioning unit installed about two weeks ago. It worked for three days and hasn’t worked since. We have have a service contract with Sears and have called several times—five now, I think—only to be told that someone would call us back to schedule an appointment within 24 hours. We have not ever received a call back and our follow up always gets the same response, leading to this rediculous and endless cycle.Sears is blaming the bad service on their contractor; I don’t buy that, it doesn’t work for me. I hired them, not their contractor. It’s their responsibility to make sure the install was successful and that the equipment works. So far, my experience with them has been terrible and they have yet to deliver the goods and services that I paid for. Frankly, I feel they have breached our contract and I may have to look at other options to resolve this.In contrast, the AC in my office malfunctioned on Friday. I called a random service company that I found on Yelp and they were out the next day to make repairs. I almost gave Sears the benefit of the doubt, thinking that the recent hot weather has them busier that usual. I can’t do that, though, as other companies seem perfectly capable of providing repair work at this time.

I just dont have words enough to say how very strongly I DO NOT recommend Sears Home Improvement for any project. We are in the midst of a very large project (kitchen, bathroom, new flooring, etc.), and the complete lack of communication, customer service, and professionalism continues to astound me on a daily basis. :-(

I have to say that the Team they had to handle my flooring project did an excellent job in making sure they stayed in front on me on everything. Even when they pull up the floor in my bonus room and found that the foundation had water damage so they checked with me first instead of just installing expensive floors on a messed up foundation. Also the 3rd part contractors were very informative. I actually learned a lot from Michael. He installed my new vanity and toilet for a extra charge, but it was worth it and it came out right. Finally, by providing a $5 million policy to the contract allowed me to feel comfortable in leaving strangers in my home while at work. They finish the project in a day under 2 weeks. I am very satisfied with the work and service. Thank you Sears Home Improvement!!

Do not trust Sears to support you after the remodel. Theyve had to come back out 3 times to fix parts of the remodel. This last time they never showed up.DO NOT use Sears for any home remodeling. Google other comments about their customer service and youll understand why using them is a mistake. I wish I had read those reviews before trusting Sears with something as important as our kitchen.Dont say you havent been warned.

I was afraid to use Sears because there are so many negative reviews but I had a nearly perfect experience! The cabinet refacing, new countertop, plumbing and electrical work went perfectly!! All of the workers were fast, professional, highly skilled and easy to work with. The only problem was the backsplash - which was HORRIBLE! However, with a couple of days, the sales manager came out to my house, inspected the work, allowed me to select a new (more expensive) tile, and did an amazing job of coordinating the replacement and making sure the work was done just right and definitely to my expectations. It was inconvenient to have to wait two weeks before the backsplash could be replaced, but thats really the only problem I had. And in the end, Im MORE than satisfied with the finished product! Id highly recommend Sears for your home improvement project!

Never Ever go for Sears Home Improvement. Very poor service. Done kitchen remodeling through Sears Home Improvement - San Jose and even after I paid full amount I am yet to receive my Kitchen Permit and work is not yet finished too. Its more then a year now. Got few numbers but everytime hear the same message that all agents are busy leave a message and then mailbox is full and got disconnected. Thinking of taking legal advice on how to take action against them. Strongly discourage people to go for Sear improvement.

We buy all our appliances from Sears, but we will never use them for home improvement projects. We decided to have Sears install our new shower. The sales rep showed up on 3/10 and we placed our order, he estimated an install date of mid May and told us it would take about 3 days. Mid-May came and went without a call from Sears, so we called the sales rep and found out he was no longer with Sears. Sears finally sent a team of very subpar sub-contractors on 6/13, who removed the old shower and sheet rock, exposing the beams and pipes. There was black all over the wood and pipes, and my husband asked the contractor if we should be concerned about the black dirt. The contractor didnt answer and made like there was no problem. This was left exposed for 3 days until the City Inspector arrived to tell us it was mold and we had to get it cleaned up before they could proceed. Being that it was a Friday, we could not get anyone to clean the mold until Monday, which was a full week with mold exposure. The mold was cleaned up by Tuesday evening and the City Inspector came Wednesday morning, but Sears was not intending on sending anyone to finish the project until the following Tuesday. My husband hit the roof and made such a stink that they sent a new team of contractors. This new team really saved the day for us. The Sears shower parts had either been measured incorrectly or cut incorrectly because they were too long. The 2nd team cut the product to fit our shower. So this whole project which should have taken 3 days took 18 days, and only thanks to the 2nd team of contractors, it turned out good.
