Booked the You Click, We Pick option, which guarantees a compact or better. Arrived and they had a Mitsubishi Mirage set aside for me, which was the title vehicle for the economy class; below the minimum guaranteed by the booking. I pointed this out and was only after indicating my desire to cancel did they provide a Nissan Versa (the minimum guaranteed under the original booking). They did eventually make it right and the car was clean and performed adequately, but their lack of knowledge of their own product offerings and headache associated with having to assert the vehicle initially provided was incorrect results in the three star review.

THE worse business experience of my life. Jackie Taylor, Branch Mgr was rude, disrespectful and I will never rent a car from Enterprise again. Apparently asking a question about your bill entitles Jackie to behave like an ex president. Enterprise, teach Jackie some manners and the ins and outs of customer service. She is an embarrassment to your firm and the only thing she did correctly was make a fool of herself. Enterprise, I went to Hertz. Im thankful I did.

First I would like to say, Alex tries his best to make you feel good about the situation. However, the following occurred during my last rental. I rented a truck and received confirmation several days prior to the date of rental. The day before pick-up, I get a call telling me they dont have a truck. I received a large SUV instead which I made work, but a truck was needed. After using the vehicle for 2 days I returned it. I wasnt able to locate some equipment in a bag, so I called the rental office to ask if I left it the vehicle. I know the vehicle was still at the location because I had just driven by on my way home and that is what reminded me to check with them. I was told no bag was located. Late that afternoon I received a call saying a bag was located. However, it was located at another location. They told me I had to travel 40+ miles to get the bag. It was their mistake when they didnt look in the vehicle when I originally called and asked earlier in the day, they should go get the bag and bring it back, but no, thats not happening.

They were kind and professional, but the car that my husband had to rent for like 2 weeks Aprox. smelled really bad!!! like heavy cigarettes!!!!!! along with heavy bleach!!! They asked my husband if he wanted to switch the car, but we were so busy that we didnt have time to go back soon enough and we had to have the windows down as much as we could. The smell was so strong that it was making me feel sick 😷

My wife and I hit a rough patch with our three vehicles and desperately needed multiple rental cars over the course of 2 weeks mostly on very short notice and in remote locations. Normally I try to go with the cheapest option but due to the remote locations Enterprise was the only option. This was a blessing in disguise. Enterprise took excellent care of my wife and I, they were courteous and personable and showed genuine concern for our unique situation and contrary to my original thinking they turned out to be the lower cost option.

I can not praise the guys at this location enough. Alex, Tyler, Thomas, Christian and my driver James are beyond awesome. The customer service I receive here is superior to others in the area (Dublin and the manager there is just awful) in the last month Ive had to rent quite a few vehicles because my car was being worked on and my child had medical appointments out of town for an open heart surgery. These guys were always ready and available to help, listen to my needs and delivered on the vehicles needed when I needed. No hassles, no long waits, always friendly... I will be showing mine and my familys gratitude to them all personally. Thank you guys, ALL OF YOU for helping us through a very difficult time making it so we had 1 less thing to stress about. While their customer service was excellent, the vehicle they provided reeked of weed. At first it was that strange chemical smell that is used to cover the smell, but after a few hours and it wore off, it was a pungent marijuana odor that made me sick and it was too late to turn around and swap the car for a new model.

Pros: Excellent customer service and attentiveness by the staff, good selection of cars for such a small branch location. No problems with last-minute reservations or billing.Cons: Drop off and pickup can be a hassle. Pick up normally isnt a problem, but dropping off a car (especially after hours) can be almost impossible because customers from the casino next door will park in Enterprise-only parking spaces, leaving you nowhere to return the car. There needs to be more clearly marked customer parking (a loading area for customers being dropped off), maybe double-parking style spaces for rental returns, and increased towing/citations for parking violators.

Pickup and Drop in Rental location is pretty good, though the branch was busy, they are able to help to the process.But Enterprise Road side assistance process need some change . We had our car broke down in Tiago Pass (US 120), where there is no mobile signal, somehow park officer stop by and we called AAA, to tow nearby town. Then we called Enterprise Roadside Assistance, for tow the existing car and replace the new car, there are 3 locations in 1 hr drive distance, but no branch ready to swap the car. They simply said that they don’t have car and they are about to close. But when we check online, we are able to book the car from all the nearby locations. Roadside assistance person told they can’t force them, if branch is denied. They asked us to stay nearby locations and ask us to give a call back next day after branches are Open. 😳 at least I was expected they should have follow up.- Next day it’s again same scenario, finally I got the Confirmation from Nevada Location which is 2 hrs away They ready to switch. Nearly 24 hr we were stuck and our hotel booking and tours got all cancelled.I didn’t understand the concept: Roadside assistant is 24 hrs, but they will provide replacement car or towing based the branch nearby, which is respond only in opening hours😳, so what is the purpose of road side assistance program, just coordinating to branch after branches are closed??Roadside assistance said they can’t ask the branch to send the car.Conclusion - Rental is good as long as you are not stuck, out of any city limit.

Long time Enterprise customer. Recently relocated from Livermore and this Enterprise is what I miss most about the town. From my first and repeating interactions with Alexander Gregory and Tyler Pangia to my last interactions with Kendall Batdorf, Nikhil Chetal, and Matt Vailas, I received some of the best customer service I have ever received. Whether is was getting picked up from Home, or Work (LLNL), being dropped off, making last minute reservations, or them not having a vehicle I requested but finding a viable alternative, these guys were outstanding! The only problem is that these guys are so good... they keep getting promoted to be branch managers of other locations, but fortunately their replacements are always just as good. Ive rented at two enterprise locations near where I moved (891 E El Camino Real & 815 E El Camino Real) and the level of service is not even close... its terrible and it makes me miss this location even more.

Overall great. Only gripe was the wait time but understandable at the fact there was only 2 reps and then one of the reps had to go and wash a car that just got returned so it can used for the next client. That’s a versatile employee!! Great job!! (To bad I couldn’t get his name.)

Excellent service! We were on our way out of town, F250 was packed and our brake seized up on freeway. Got the truck to Ford dealership and within 20 minutes Enterprise delivered a new Ram truck to us, we loaded up and our weekend was saved! I needed a rental for a week after I had wrecked my own car. Enterprise made it very easy to choose the vehicle type I wanted and be on my way with little delay. Dropping the car off was also very easy. I did request an economy car as I was looking to save on gas, however they seemed to be out so they upgraded me to a larger vehicle. The car was nice, however I would not have minded being able to save a few dollars on gas

I never tried Enterprise because they were always a bit more expensive than their competitors. However, I rented a pickup truck from them as they were the only ones w/ a truck available on Memorial weekend. The price I was quoted for was around $140 which is pricey but reasonable for that weekend I guess. When I went in, the truck was available (thank goodness because at other rentals, its not always a guarantee), and the process was extremely smooth and quick despite the amount of other customers. Another bonus, they quoted me cheaper than online AND another great factor, they allowed after hour drop off!! Great customer service, reasonable pricing, and great convenience.

I made a reservation in advance like I always try to do. Then the day I had to pick up the car I called ahead of time to go over coverage for the car, which I talked to a girl about. She was helpful in the sense that she answered my questions and we finalized the rental price with coverage since I mentioned my intentions of just going in and out upon my arrival to pick up the car. Once I got there she said oh sorry I actually was looking at the price and its actually $..... The price difference she was now giving me from our phone conversation was off by over $105. Mind you the reason I called was because I was shopping around and that was in the end the best price, so I was extremely upset as she mislead me to believe one price when really was another. I could have simply gone with another place and price within reason. It was already the day off, ready to take off my trip and most car rental office hours were about to close. So in other words I was stuck. I was going back and forth trying different ways to negotiate a less price but she wasnt cooperating even after it being her fault we were even having the dispute. My going in and out turned into a dispute between us going back and forth in front of customers and employees. It was really embarrassing. She at the end offered something that we just said fine to for the sake of simply leaving. It was basically half of what we actually agreed over the phone considering coverage. Overall, careful who you deal with. Some representatives are very professional and recognize the importance of customer service such as the guy that took care of us when we returned the car. I wish I could remember names.

I had the definition of a bait and switch at this location. We made a reservation for a car and had an expectation of a price, but when we got there they did not have the car we were expecting. To be honest, Im not that bothered about that as I understand thats how this system works; the car you reserve is more a level of car.However, what I REALLY didnt like was that the car they gave us was nothing like the car we reserved and on top of that they charged us $250+ more for the insurance because someone at corporate ran the numbers and cant decided we cant give the insurance out for that amount.The point of making a reservation is so that you know what youre going to get when you get there; not so that you get to be swindled into paying more than what you wanted at the moment all you wanted to do is pick the thing up.

I went in the middle of the day so there was no waiting. The car was already near the exit. It was a new vehicle and immaculate. The staff was efficient and actually went through the features of operating the car - a first for a rental experience.After returning the car, they offered a me ride to wherever I needed to go in town. Five stars for ease of the rental process and the people working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Livermore. One star for the car only having 1/4 tank of gas on pick up and having the change oil and key fob battery low warnings come on the second day of rental. Which meant I couldnt really go anywhere for fear the key fob would die completely (and no regular ignition key as a back up) and leave me stranded.

This is not the first time, that I have rented from this location, now do I anticipate it to be the last. The staff has always been very helpful and informative about costs, etc. I had to call the office on a couple of different occasions, with regard to my changing, not only the pick up time, but the drop off as well. On these occasions, again, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great experience with Enterprise always! I reserved a mini van for a family trip and they let me upgrade to a full size SUV for only $10 more per day. I took the car with an empty tank and brought the vehicle back empty and was three hours late so I had to drop the keys in the Dropbox. When I check my online receipt has a gas charge and extra day in it. I called and explained the situation with Chad and he not only removed the gas charges but also removed the extra day which was clearly my fault. Will always rent from Enterprise whenever I can!

Car in shop for a month and I had tried all three Livermore Car rentals, as I needed a car periodically. I really love to go there since it the closest place, we rented quite a lot of cars Livermore on first street from moving to vehicule. Reservation system is better now.Only once for not having with me my credit card that I could not rent but my husband called and did make it happen. I dropped off my personal vehicle at Land Rover Livermore, they were kind enough to give me a courtesy vehicle while my vehicle was in the shop. The customer service agent at Enterprise was also kind enough to give me a Land Rover Discovery as my courtesy (excellent job on his part, 5 stars there), but the lot attendants that drove me back to Land Rover were bloody lazy to go and get the Discovery which was at the back of the lot. So, the two idiots gave me a Jaguar which was empty on gas, it had 7 miles until empty. Barely enough gas to get to the gas station. Oh, you can bring it back empty, if you like, was what they told me. I was not happy with part of your service.

Honestly worst experience. They have the worst customer service, I went in because my brand new car was in the repairs my insurance was paying them $30 a day to match what my current car class is (mind you it’s a brand new 2018 sports car) and when I walked in they all were standing around they didn’t look like they knew what they were doing, the lady tried to give me a run down looking hyundai when I asked her for a car that was within the class of my current car she seemed irritated walked back inside came back out and offered me a Nissan which I was fine with I responded with “this still isn’t within the class of my car but it’s ok this will be fine!” She looked at me pissed and said this is a full sized car you were supposed to get a compact I upgraded you for free. Very rude honestly & I was supposed to get a full-sized car to begin with so I’m not sure why she thought she was doing me a favor. The car that I was givin reeked of weed. I had to air it out everyday I had it just so I wouldn’t get a headache from the smell, it was absolutely disgusting. Worst experience, don’t waste your time or your money here your better off going anywhere else.

There were a number of employees but only one or two to help out and there was a line out the door. I get a rental and it was actually just brought back by someone. Enterprise employees didnt look it over to see if it was clean before giving it to me. The car had so much sap all over it and the windows that I couldnt see out of them, the floor had crumbs all over it and the seats were all completely stained. It was a horrible experience. I will not rent from them anymore.

I called the Livermore, CA Enterprise 1 month prior to our family vacation and specifically reserved a 15 passenger Ford Transit Wagon. I own a 15 passenger Chevy Express Van so I made sure I was renting a Transit Wagon. I called Livermore Enterprise again the week prior to our vacation to confirm and I was told Yes, youre scheduled to reserve a transit wagon. I called again the morning of our vacation before I drove the 20 miles to pick up the transit wagon from Tracy to Livermore and again I was told Yes, youre transit wagon is reserved for you. I picked it up a couple hours later and NO Transit Wagon. Instead, there was a 15 passenger Chevy Express Van parked out front. It was identical to the one I already own. The manager, Mitch, apologized and said there was a misunderstanding. Not a good way to start our family road trip.

Broke down at 10am in Hawaii. 100+ heat. Support left us until after 5pm, when we got a taxi to drive us home.Ruined our vacation, left us dehydrated and in a dangerous situation.From the number of times we had to call, and the long wait times for support (over an hour per call), its obvious they are trying to get your cell phone to die out first. (When I got through, they would put me on hold and leave me on hold for 30 minutes or more!)Ill never, ever rent from Enterprise again. But I may have a conversation with a lawyer about the situation we ended up being exposed to by their negligence today.
