They havent mastered how to hold mail when someone goes on vacation
Usually no line but one person I’ve worked with looks like he hates me when I drop off mail and was rude.
I have never had a problem with this post office branch---and for those who are complaining about an issue--it is probably because YOU are the problem. I picked up a package with NO problem. I have sent out two Priority mail pkgs. in the past week, and the staff have been VERY helpful and friendly--no hint of condescension---(you are probably just personalizing in a negative way). I have been there at 10am, or 1pm...there is little or no line. No waiting. Great branch with competent staff. Get over your selves-those who complain...it might be YOU.
Several USPS Carriers deliver to my mailbox which in itself is problematic. Ive had several letters recd marked wrong address which means initially mail was misdelivered. I have a government check that was sent on 01/06/2022 and still has not arrived.
These reviews are totallllly CRAZY! this is my local post office for 3yrs and going. So Im here more than the average person. I rarely wait in line. and if there is a line, its about 5-10min and its mostly because of dumb customers not understanding day to day mail methods/packaging/whatever -- NOT the people who work here.My only complaints is the side alley parking, people park over the lines taking up two spots or theres people parked there for touring downtown and not for the post office.... needs stricter parking monitoring. (my picture attached is the perfect example. taken today)
I was supposed to get my package two days ago. Tracking said it was at the post office and when I called to ask if I could pick it up the lady at the office acted like I was wasting her time. I wish they could be a little more polite.
There was a fire at my apartment building so I called to ask them to hold my packages I knew I had coming. packages from that day were suddenly missing and tracking hasn’t updated 4 days later. went into the office yesterday to see if they had them or a package that said “delivered” after it wasn’t at my apartment, told me my package had probably been stolen and they didn’t have any of my other packages. made me fill out ANOTHER hold form for my mail. just to wake up this morning to see I have yet another package out for delivery. there’s literally signs all over my apartment building that said “notice to vacate, uninhabitable” and they still thought delivering my packages was a good idea. now I am missing hundreds of dollars worth of items and they won’t even take my phone calls or do anything to fix this. literal garbage.
I had people working with me to access my mail box and Ive called 6 times now, and get a busy tone after a minute of it ringing. I have yet to actually receive a real person since my first call. Just this busy tone.
I had spoke with John, I believe a supervisor of USPS, my package was lost and they said it was delivered but it was not in my mailbox. He kept in contact with me and every day trying to find it and he ended up finding it today and had it delivered 10 mins after we got off the phone. He was super nice and apologetic, it sucks it was lost but it was nice that he was so nice and he kept in contact with me and found it. Thank you John!!
Their are some great employees at this location but Edward should not be dealing with customers. He is a know-it-all and the way he speaks to customers is very condescending and rude. Seems put out every time I’ve brought in packages.
I tried to call. None of automated resources met my need. I wanted to speak to a live person ( which was not one of the choices.) Finally, I was informed that the wait time to speak with an employee was from 45 to 90 minutes. It is obvious that the USPS does not want to be in business.
What in the world is going on with the Littleton Post Office. The only thing being delivered is voter advertisements!
Helpful, friendly workers doing their jobs well in difficult times.
Nearly every time I come into the post office I dread having to deal with Edward. He is very rude and condescending. I don’t feel that he should be dealing with the public.
I pulled up behind the post office yesterday around 4:30pm. A group of post office workers were leaving. I asked them if they knew if a package I needed to mail would still be postmarked that day. A very nice mail man said yes, and then he offered to hand deliver it himself back into the post office!! That was such a kind thing to do! Thank you so much sir....you made me smile and remember there are wonderful people in Littleton!!!!
We have a sub because or normal mail man is on vacation and the sub didnt deliver mail because my crippled Yorkie waddled up to the gate barking. A total non-threat scared a full grown man. And the mail box is on the outside of the my bill gate. But also I got a bill a day late because of him. The cripple dog cant even bark right!! How the heck can she scare you.
Helpful with fast and efficient service.
This post office sent my delivery back to the sender twice. The first time I was sent on a wild goose chase to another post office, being told my package was at another location ten miles away. The other post office looked up the package but had no idea what I was talking about. The second time this post office did not deliver the same, re-sent package, was after I had spoken directly to the manager and told him it would be re-sent. Ive tried to call this location over and over as the manager did not call me with updates. However, they do not answer their phone. Nordo they have a message machine.
WORST UNITED STATES POSTAL OFFICE EVER!THEY LOSE PACKAGES THEN ACCUSE YOU OF BEING IMPATIENT!!? UNPROFESSIONAL.
If you want reliable, time sensitive packages delivered, go with UPS or FedEx. If you like waiting for scheduled deliveries that dont show up, go with USPS.
Consistent excellence for 20 years. Fast, friendly and efficient. Best little P.O. around 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
They are the least helpful. Like they make shipping anything the most unenjoyable, most cumbersome thing ever. I will now only go to UPS or FedEx. Customer Service is a thing, if you want to stay competitive learn it.
Very helpful and kind!
Its a standard U.S. Post Office, so it is beleaguered by insufficient support, and a tinge of malaise. That said, this is a pleasant, old timey post office that looks and smells like a place that has handled multiple millions of parcels and envelopes. Yes, there will be lines at certain times. In the present era when much communication is managed digitally, the lack of immediate satisfaction can be frustrating. However, if you plan ahead and visit at a time of lower demand, service can be fast enough. Think of it as chance to experience a taste of life from earlier times.
This is ridiculous. They pick the absolute slowest guy to work Saturday alone. There is a line out the door. I am here today to close my P.O. Box otherwise I would leave. Managers are around but dont answer phones nor do they step up to help out. Totally disgraceful!!! 30 minutes in line and we havent moved an inch!
Customer service is great. They are all super friendly and remember who you are. The only thing is be prepared to wait sometimes at least an hour in line. Sometimes that line just gets so long and backed up. Other times you are in and out in 10 minutes. It just depends.
They have everything you need and youre in and out their in less than ten minutes. I agree with Emily. Mark is the best at customer service. I pass by the Centennial post office to come here.
Mid week after lunch-- NO LINE!! Super quick, in and out. A lot of stamps to choose from. Gorgeous historical building.
Great old small town post office. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Parking can be a problem. But, there is a large MTA lot across the street. Seems I always have interesting conversations with people waiting in line. NOT the fastest in and out. But also not unpleasant.
Unimaginably incompetent. Lost my package, claimed it was both delivered and that a notice was left indicating it couldnt be delivered. Neither was true. Guy in the store said the shipping label didnt have an address but claimed it was delivered. Gave no reason why this happened or how to keep it from happening again. Said he would have to ask the driver when she came back and hope she knew what happened. Unbelievably frustrating. Would give negative stars if I could.
Long lines ALWAYS! One person manning the counter every. Single. Day. I now remember why I spend the extra money and go to the ups store..... however the one person that IS working is extremely friendly and patient.
I walked in and the employees where very rude.I tried calling them and the wait time to speak to a person was 45min -1 hour.
Mark is single handedly the only reason I go to this location. Some describe him as squirrely, but he always remembers a name and has something to say besides just the regular questions to move the line along. I pass by one post office just to go to this one. Keep up the good work Mark!
This office is 100% NOT helpful. They delivered a package of mine to an abandoned past address of mine and then were extremely rude when I tried to file a claim (obviously the package was stolen/missing). No one answers the phone for 10-15 minutes, the man who finally answers is always completely worthless. He never gives you his name and doesnt want to help with any questions you may have, he gave me the run around to several other offices who didnt even deliver the package. I will never use this post office again and I suggest any other customers use a different location.
Incredibly long line with an incredible one clerk who is incredibly SLOW. Not his fault;doing the best he can. Wow. Never here again. Going Amazon!!
This post office is irresponsible, ineffective and rude. I re-rented a post office box from them in January (after it had lapsed a couple months). I paid a ridiculous amount extra BECAUSE it had lapsed. In April I discovered they rented it to someone else too. So all of my mail ended up going back to the sender because the other renter was, understandably, putting it in the wrong po box box. When we discovered this, I spent two weeks constantly calling to figure it out. After weeks of them not returning my calls after they promised they would, they finally tell me that, even though I rented the box first, they would just have to return my money and couldnt let me keep it. No apologies. Nothing. In fact, they treated me like I had somehow done something wrong. When I asked how I would get my money back, Theresa (who may be the supervisor), hung up on me. When I called right back to find out, she never picked up. So now Im $80 out because I have no idea how to get it - and Im sure when I go down there, I will get the runaround from people who have no idea whats going on. Dont rent a PO Box from this post office or do business with them. You will only be in for a world of hurt.
Ill give 2 stars because sometimes the employees are nice. But this place is ridiculous. Under staffed, always a line out the door, and they wont pick up the phone during business hours.
I rescheduled a delivery and was home for the redelivery. The post person did not even ring the doorbell and just left another redelivery notice and the automated system is infuriating and you cant even call the local office to see when the package will be available for pick up.
Nice people and service is offer very quick!
Heads UP! UPS store on 5856 S Lowell blvd does it cheaper and also prints copies, has envelops, mails same day with a SMILE, NO LINES and CHEAPER for the extras! 1 star for mailing the package ???
These people never answer the phone when i call 5 times diferent dates
Courteous and friendly staff. Very good service!
Quick service. Very nice staff!
At the end of last year I was supposed to receive a package, having the package fully addressed to me, I was sure it would reach and stay at my home. If you are planning to receive service from them, then its best to know the previous occupantss new addresses in case they get your packages. We knew who ours were because we still got their mail after us being told multiple times how important it was to fill out change of address forms, and doing so, twice. Trying to get my package back was another story, the deliverer told me two different stories about what actually happened and he just assumed the other post office would see the first address that was thought to be incorrect, and send it back to me. He was rude and complained about me to people at my residence, the person who was receiving the calls at the postoffice was rude and didnt forward our calls to the postmaster, who we were told was going to contact us three business days ago. With much frustration for over three weeks with our local post office we were overly annoyed trying to deal with the workers there and we went to the main post office to talk to someone who may be able to help. It wasnt the fact that they lost my package, it was their attitude about the whole thing, telling me to contact the people who used to live here before and having to find their new address on my own, saying thats what I thought would happen and if your information on was on the box, then it will come to you, it already came to me once, so I know it was there, I felt like they were trying to blame loosing my package on me. The only person to apologize was the person at a desk with no authority, but helped us out most because he was nice and seemed like he cared.
Only one person working, long line with no way to put prepaid packages in postal bin. will never use this post office again.
WHY DONT THEY ANSWER THE FRICKING PHONE?
Id give ZERO stars if I could!! They REFUSE to answer their phone. Just ridiculous this is a government agency who gives cause as to why people dislike the ineptness of the postal service. Im so frustrated!
Always nice, but every time I come, there is only ONE person working the front. Long lines and frustrated people.
Awful they lost my grandkids christmas package and no one will answer the freaking phone it just rings and rings
Long lines and marginally friendly workers. This is a poorly managed office. Ipve ever winter and have my mail forwarded, they always mess it up in some way. One year they told my mortgage company I moved and did not have a forwarding address.
Same as others have stated. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!! I let it ring for 45 minutes once, just set my phone on my desk and let it go. Nothing. USPS is the most useless organization on this planet.
Only 1 person working the counter, very long lines and a very rude staff. But what else can you expect from a government run establishment.
They never answer the telephone, especially with regard to delivery issues.
Why would you list a number that no one ever answers?
Would give lower rating if could every time i come theres always one person at the counter, 20 people in line and one person complaining about his job rather than actually helping the long line
1 window open Christmas week, a disgrace
Needs more staff.
