We hired Demers to install our Jotul 602 and a new chimney in February 2021. From consult through installation, the service was top-notch. We were surprised how quickly they were able to book us! Everyone we spoke with was so knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely be hiring for maintenance in the future.

First of all, they got back to me right away when I sent an email. I had a chimney inspection done and the guys explained what was wrong, why it needed to be fixed and how to have it done, They were also there to clean the chimney but they checked it and said it really didnt need it. (Yay!) They took photos to show me. Bonus: the two men who showed up were really nice, professional and helpful. And they got along with my crazy puppy. They will be my go-to business for all things chimney/fireplace related.

Our condo association told us that we needed new panels. When the Demers guys came, they said that the chimney actually looked fine and they didnt recommend any repairs for another 2 to 3 years. They even spoke with the association rep and their own company to confirm their assessment. They were super professional and courteous. Five stars!

I had Demers install a chimney for my wood stove. They did a great job I could not be happier. Very clean work very responsive when I had questions, easy to pay the bill and it looks great. I would highly recommend their services.

Demers showed up promptly to repair my chimney, whose cap had blown off in high winds. They reported on inspecting the chimney that the job would be more complex, and had very clear photos of the chimney to demonstrate why. They gave me a quote for the required repairs, pointing out each item in the photos, and let me know the larger job meant it would require another visit (longer time block). We had to reschedule the work once due to conflicts, but they called in advance to let me know. They showed up at the scheduled time despite it being fairly snowy, and completed the work in short order and provided me photos of the before and after from close up so that I could approve the job. The job was billed to the quote precisely. I will happily call them again for any chimney work, and would consider them for general masonry work if theyre available for the task.

Demers provided an estimate for proposed work. All communication prior to, during and after the appointment was professional and respectful and timely.

Had a furnace put in and it leaked from ceiling when it rains. Company came out and put 2 coats on roof. Still leaks. Wont return my calls. Finally made an appt and it was a no show, no call. Couldnt get them to return my calls again. Finally got a hold of them and they told me to call a roofer.

Holden from Demers Chimney came to my condo after a home inspection found cracks in my firebox bricks. Holden arrived right on the and was easily able to determine that the cracks were not an issue in using the fireplace as the cracks were very small. So small so that they wouldn’t adversely effect the fireplace operation. Having worked with Holden on the installation of a propane heating stove a few years prior, I knew that he would be polite, on time, and extremely knowledgeable. Great experience again!

This business comes highly rated in my opinion. My stove was repaired the day service was provided because they took the time to listen when I told them the part and sent pictures in advance of what I needed. The cleaning was taken care of easily and they showed up on time. With few choices in the north country I’m glad that Demers is there to help us out!

They came- they seen and they conquered my stove install. The TEAM works well together. I am getting my second stove installed with them next week. Installed 2 Vermont Castings Merrimacks that I found online - Installed liners moved the 600 pound stove with ease. Very WEB - TEXT modern communication masters I got email alerts and pictures of the installers. I felt safe winding the stove up to full throttle after watching the quality and caring they put into my home. The service was on time and professional. I did have a concern this year that the price for a pellet stove cleaning jumped from $179 to $275 without any prior warning from the company. I addressed this with them and they were responsive, but both the price increase and the failure to let me know that the cost had increased when I scheduled was disappointing.
