Came here for acting, and I ended up taking modeling classes as well. Theyre a wonderful place; Ive been here for 3 years now, happy and welcome in every way. Melissa and Summer are amazing, and they always make me feel at home. Audra is wonderful too, friendly and just a real light in my life. Im so grateful I got to meet everyone at Excel; my acting career has excelled under their tutelage. My life outside of acting has excelled as well! I feel way more confident and happier after taking classes here.

Our family has been involved with Excel for the past two years, and I can honestly say it has been the best professional decision I’ve ever made for my son. He has grown tremendously as a performer and the knowledge he has received is invaluable. Summer and Melissa are incredible people and truly treat all of their students as if they were family. You know the saying “you don’t know what you don’t know,” and it definitely applies to the acting and modeling world. Thankfully, the team at Excel does “know what you need to know,” and they share the information! I can’t say enough great things about Excel Talent and Modeling and am so thankful to be a part of their family.

I am so thankful for Excel. This is actually only the second review I have ever written on anything ever. I felt like there is probably other parents out there that might have the same apprehensions that I did last year.We moved from Colorado to Hot Springs, and my daughter felt like she had no opportunities to learn more or gain experience in acting. We found out about Excel after a year, but we were skeptical, and rightly so.... as you may know a lot of people in this industry take your money and provide you with nothing!!! That is why Excel is so amazing and is an unbelievable opportunity. For me when something seems too good to be true, it’s scary and likely is to good to be true. However, Summer and Melissa, who are doing the training at Excel, are knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely good people. You will learn so much!! If your an actor, these are your people!! These are not the stuck-on-themselves types, but they are fun, knowledgeable and caring people. These are the professionals that you want to be around.It honestly brings tears to my eyes that we were brought out of that fear and hopelessness of not knowing the next steps, who to trust, and wondering if my daughter should just pursue something else.As a parent of four kids, this is not much different than paying for music lessons, gymnastics and many other activities. This is actually a steal especially when you are aware and consider what a huge expense other alternatives are.I can’t believe this is in Arkansas of all places. Just saying...please no offense to anyone. Arkansas is just not one of the main acting hubs so to speak. It just surprises me, but we are thankful it is!!And just a side note....They are not making you any promises you’ll be a star. They provide you with the guidance to develop your skills and all the necessary knowledge, but it’s up to you what you do with it, how much effort you put in, and what opportunities come from that. That’s just the way it works. Anyone that tells you different is lying to you!! You have to have the right perspective on things. This is a competitive industry.Excel has given my daughter a better perspective on how to pursue a career in acting, it’s given her a better mindset and understanding about the industry, and she has learned more applicable skills in these classes then she has ever learned in the previous theatre or acting classes we have done.All that to say. After taking beginning and advanced acting, and being on the team for IMTA, my daughter feels more experienced, confident, and prepared. I consider this experience a privilege.

I am of the opinion that the very best thing about these women is that they embody the definition of the Proverb that is their motto. They don’t just teach me, they inspire me to be a better woman. Excel truly Excels above them all. So excited to be a part of their model/actor student family!

I can honestly say Excel was the best coaching I’ve received! I went to IMTA and landed serval contracts to model and act in various big cities. After being around a ton of models in NYC and LA you can tell not all of them had professionalisms and skills that Excel will teach you. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to put my kids in Excel because I know the quality of the school and it will be well worth it!

The best thing you can do as a local actor is not spend your money here. She is unprofessional, hypocritical and wildly disorganized. The course she speaks so highly of has no curriculum. She is winging it every time she talks. 90% of what she teaches is information you can find for free from legitimate websites and the other 10% is a sales pitch in which she continually promises more with more of your money, yet never delivers anything more. Working with her is guaranteed to waste your time and your money.

Excel Models and Talent are some of the best people around! Honestly and integrity are some of their values that are dear to my family. My daughter took acting and modeling there! They still check on us to this day!
