Great boat rental setup. Great service and a fun place for a few hours on the water!

Best pontoon boat rental weve had so far. While loading four little kids, I appreciated the staff for providing a rental form already filled in, and for getting us on the water quickly with life jackets of all sizes. We like that CCBR included fuel in the rental price, and an anchor for the boat. Great experience.

Very nice pontoon. Clean. Large. Complimentary life vests on the boat. They also sized the two children in our group with their own fitting life vests, one of which was an infant. We enjoyed a nice afternoon on the lake. The only issue was that the radio on board the pontoon had a broken volume button and was very quiet so you could not hear it. 😢Luckily someone thought to bring a portable Bluetooth speaker. So if tunes are important to you, bring your own!

This was our first bait rental from them and we will definitely do it again. The boat was in great shape and their pricing was more than fair. We highly recommend this place.

I recently booked a boat rental through their website. Upon calling to confirm my appointment, I was told that an intertube rental was going to cost $32.50. This cost was not listed on the website, and it was unclear that the tube would be an extra charge. For example, under the FAQ section, the answer to a question about tubes and other water sport equipment simply notes to let them know so it can be reserved for you. There is no mention of an additional charge. There is also no option to “add on” any equipment through the booking process (which would have been a clear indication that there is an extra charge). I recommended that they change this on their website to be more transparent with their customers. I was only charged $20.00 because of their military discount.

This is an amazing place! We have rented a boat from here twice now, no issues at all. We always work with Ryan, and he is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and nice. Weve had a lot of issues with other shady boat rental places in the area, and weve lost a lot of faith in them until we started coming here! Weve had zero issues, the boats are nice, staff is great and the location is simple to get to.I highly recommend this place! 5 STARS! The best part is gas is included, and apparently that doesnt happen at most places. This place has helped us restore our faith in boat rentals!MUST GO!

Had an amazing time riding the wave runners. After the first hour the weather took a turn for the worst. The staff was extremely helpful and offered us a rain check for another day. Ryan made sure our experience was enjoyable and ensured we would return in the future.

This place is great. The staff was super friendly and was more then willing to help out when needed. The only minus of the whole experience was that I felt the life jackets were not that great. They worked but could be better. I would to sure recommend and come back.

These guys have a really clean place. They offer nice snacks and other stuff. We rent boats quite often, and have rented from most of the people on Lake Lewisville. After dealing with those people it is such a pleasure to go to Cottonwood Creek, because it is clean their boats are clean and they are open year-round. Also the jet skis are in good shape. The guys who work there are nice. I will certainly be going there for years to come. It is more expensive than the other people on the lake but its worth it.

This place has the worst possible customer service...My family and I came in from out of town expecting to have a blast and rented a boat from this place...we made purchases for the trip and were 5 minutes from the place when the manager Ryan calls and says hes been trying to call me all morning say that there was a problem with the process of my credit card....I had been making purchases all morning with same card long story short...there was nothing wrong with card at all and there was never one call that he tried calling me all day....Ryan ruined my boys trip and I strongly strongly dont recommend this place...they dont do whats right for there customers( the least they count have done was wait till I arrived so they could ask)....Go to just for fun rentals awesome customer service

In late July 2012, my company made reservations with Cottonwood Creek Boat Rental and received the type of service and treatment that demands we take the time to warn others NOT to do business with them. For our annual summer office party to be attended by approximately 60 people, we reserved a 2012 pontoon boat, in its first season of use, approximately 2 weeks in advance. Less than 48 hours prior to the reservation, the Boat Rental Manager, Ryan Miller called to say that the boat was unusable and he was not sure they could get the needed part or guarantee that they could find anyone to look at the boat by the start of our reservation. Additionally, he stated that they had no similar watercraft to substitute for the reservation. Miller would not guarantee the boat would be repaired, and was unwilling to assist in trying to find another rental for us. He kept repeating, Its not like we dont want the rental income from this boat being on the water, an indicator that he only cared about the profit, rather than a positive customer experience.During this conversation, Miller did nothing to assure me that he would do whatever was necessary to ensure that the reservation would be honored, despite the fact that I had 60 people that were expecting a pontoon boat for our party. When I asked for Miller to give me options as compensation for his inability to honor the reservation, he refused to negotiate. Despite my numerous suggestions of ways Cottonwood Creek could help in alleviating the issue that this inconvenience was causing my company, Miller continued to refuse to help in any way, other than stating that he would contact me if the boat was repaired prior to our reservation. Millers unwillingness to help rectify a negative situation which was caused by Cottonwood Creek was compounded by the fact that such late notice was given regarding the mechanical issue with the rental. This gave my company very little time to find a replacement rental during the height of the summer boating season.Approximately 20 hours prior to our reservation, Miller called and stated that the boat had been repaired. When we arrived to pick up the boat, upon inspection we identified a huge dent in the side, a broken ladder and carpet which needed cleaning. In light of the inconvenience of the previous 48 hours and the surprisingly rough condition of the boat, we should have demanded a discounted rental price. However, we were just relieved to have a boat. Although Cottonwood Creek was able to rent their pontoon boat for a five hour block of time, and my company was able to enjoy the use of the boat, Millers lack of customer service resumed after we returned the boat to the marina. Miller imposed nearly $100 of additional fees for carpet cleaning and for returning the boat approximately 15 minutes past the return time, even though the boat was not scheduled for use after its return. Miller had no concern in ensuring that our experience with his company was positive and was unable to understand that his short-sighted perspective in how he interacted with me, as his customer, translated to how my Dallas-area company understands the way Cottonwood Creek conducts business….small players.Coincidentally, immediately after leaving Cottonwood Creek after our experience with Miller, a Little Elm police department patrol car pulled our vehicle over, without the officer able to articulate any probable cause for the traffic stop. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that this was a coordinated attempt between Miller and the Little Elm Police Department to retaliate negatively towards customers

No public restroom equals zero business from me. Just on principle, not to mention the health hazard . I wouldnt let my kids run barefoot through the parking lot or along the beach if I were you. Disgusting! If you think the porta-potty at the main entrance to the park is enough, think again.

We decided to rent a boat from this business on 8/23, and initially all was good. We got to the business and were given a pontoon boat that holds 10 people. We had 8 people with us. We were given basic instructions and signed a document not holding the business responsibility for anything and off away we went. It was one hour into our 4 hour rental that water began to accumulate in the rear of the boat. We were somewhat concerned but decided to continue. We then had an individual swim up to our boat and advised us that the boat didn’t look secure and the fact that water was collecting in the rear didn’t look right and advised us to call the rental company and take the boat back. We then decided to call the rental company and advised them of the problem. They immediately said we must have hit a rock without knowing the facts and rushed to judgment. We proceeded back to the renal dock and upon arrival we were met by 3 ground workers that looked frighten. We then all proceeded to get off the boat and at that moment we all realized the boat was sinking and apparently wasn’t lake ready. We were all grateful no one got hurt and we weren’t left stranded out on the lake. The manager on duty did not introduce himself and talk with us. We just kept seeing about 4 workers pacing back and forth and put the boat on their lift looking for holes in the boat, as I overheard one say. We also noticed another worker in the water on the side of the boat banging on it, as if trying to cause damage. We were asked by one individual what did we hit and that they are trying to see what damages were made. I then asked who was the manager and introduced myself and asked what was going on. The manager on duty Ryan Miller began saying he is trying to determine damage and said this pontoon has never had an issue. I was dumbfounded because we were out on the boat no longer than 1 hour and instead of being concern for our safely they were more focus on who/what damage their boat. Their reaction to us was very insensitive and uncompassionate as a few individuals on the boat could not swim so that frightens them that we were issued a boat that wasn’t safe. When I noticed they were really trying to find an issue with the boat and place blame on us, I decided to start taking pictures of the boat during their investigation. I took several pictures with my camera and after 30 to 45 minutes the manager came to us and said they could not determine why the boat was accumulating water, so would refund us the reminding time of our 4 hour trip. They refunded us only 1.5 hour even though, we only used about 2.0 hours into our 4 hour rental that was already pre-paid. At that point, I was already disappointed on the whole way they conduct business, I just left it as that and we left.In closing, I would not rent from this boat company again; their boats are unsafe and old. Their customer service is the worst as well. They are uncompassionate and only concern about taking your money and planting damages on their customers. Please find another company that is more concern about your safety.
