This store recently changed over to a Frattalone Ace Hardware, and it lost its neighborhood charm. Lots of staff turn over. The flower mart is a joke. They cant even bother to ring your flower purchase. They make you take the long trek across the parking lot to buy the flowers inside the store. Lazy employees at this flower mart very little help. I miss the old Hardware Hank.

Stopped in to find a specific bolt to fix something. Customer service was great in helping me find the part and multiple people asked if I needed assistance. The employee went one step further and took what i was fixing and drilled it to the correct size to match the bolt.

I went in because someone stole the license plate off of the front of my car. I am not well versed in vehicle hardware and all of the staff were very helpful in finding me the right screws and even helping me install the new plate! Im not sure what his name was, but the mechanic gentleman who works there and the cashier young lady were very helpful and made the entire experience stress free. They have all of my future business!

Waste of my time...This is NOT Hardware Hanks - its Frattalones Ace Hardware. I learned the hard way. I called the store in advance looking for a specific rake -The Maintainer, which is sold by Hardware Hank stores. The individual I spoke with checked the inventory and indicated they had several. I drove 20 minutes to go buy it, only to find out they had a True Temper alternative. Apparently they used to be a Hardware Hank (still shows up as Hardware Hank in Google search). When they flipped to Fratallones Ace Hardware, they also flipped to their inventory/brands (makes sense).Wish the guy I spoke with would have told me the truth. He wasted my time and gas.

Almost all of the staff deal with that you’re doing and can give you suggestions based on their use experienced in the various trades. Yes, of course, it’s better the more experienced the traits that the given staff member has, but that can definitely be guessed up pretty well. If they can’t fix the problem, such as delivering something on their way to or from work, they do help get somebody who can do that sort of thing. If they can’t do something themselves, like replace or repair a window, They also maps be willing to give you a trusted contact with the have used in similar cases.

Its always a great experience to visit the North Heights Hardware Store. We find what we need and there are also fun things that we find that we didnt know we needed until we got there! 5 Stars!

Bought a tub drain kit. Just barely enough parts were there to assemble the drain. Missing were the plunger hardware and the drain cover. Very disappointing.

I called the store tonight around 6:10 to confirm that they had a space heater. I was in a bit of an emergency as my pipes froze on my house. Repairs were complete but I needed a space heater to prevent it from happening again. They confirmed they had it and said they were hoping to close at 7, an hour early due to the cold. I told them I would be there before 7pm and was there at 6:45. And they were closed. I have now spent the last 50 minutes trying to track down another space heater, because they didn’t do what they said they were going to do. I have been here many times but I don’t think I will ever come back unless it is an emergency.

NOT A BIG BOX STORE! People who are helpful, available, and know what they are doing. Equipment rental. Service for small engines, mower blade and chainsaw sharpening, parts for all tools and equipment.

Sales associates always immediately greet and meet me at the door. Ask to provide any assistance. Knowledgeable always take you directly to the item youre looking for.... They also have UPS pick up and delivery at thr rear ounter, small motor type repairs in a spacious and well organized hardware store. Good solid inventory at reasonable prices.

We want to use our local stores during COVID to help our local businesses, but when their employees don’t comply with mask mandates we won’t risk going in. Really disappointing seeing the employees not wearing masks.

This is our go to hardware store when we really need help on how to fix something. The staff there are great, they greet you at the door and you dont have to run around a big store searching for someone to help you. I highly recommend this store.

The employees always ask if I need help. Love that they can point me in the right direction, or give more help if necessary. I have been visiting this store for I think around 8 to 10 years now. Still go. Nice workers. And I hate giving out 5 stars. Usually just 4, but the employees make it worth it.

Needed a new chain for my chainsaw and stopped in on my way home from work. Was amazed at the service I received from the service area which took the time to take off my chain, and put the new one one, all the while advising me of little pointers with chainsaws. He even replaced a missing part I hadn’t noticed. Another local hardware store once turned up their nose when I plopped my dirty broken chainsaw on their service desk, but not these guys. I was so impressed I stopped back in to buy a new Weber Genesis II grill, which they had an excellent selection of including accessories, rather than buying as I had planned from one of the big box home improvement stores. They had assembled the grill ahead of time and helped me load properly onto my trailer. If you consider the value of service, you actually get a better all-in price going with these guys than shopping for the best deals online and struggling to do stuff yourself.

I very reluctantly offer a warning about this neighborhood store, which Ive enthusiastically patronized for over 15 years. After failing to stand behind two repairs - both to power equipment I purchased at that very store - overcharging on a carpet cleaner rental, and selling below grade perennials at their outdoor garden store, Ive concluded they must be in financial trouble. Their formerly decent customer concern is now gone. As much as I believe in supporting small and local businesses, Im now headed to a big box store to purchase a leaf vacuum and to replace my chain saw. Next spring, Ill purchase my new lawn mower elsewhere and likewise get my repair services farther away from home. I greatly regret this conclusion, but its clear this neighborhood business no longer works to support its neighbors.

These guys know their stuff. Always helpful and very knowledgeable about hardware and not afraid to help. Stop by and you will see just how good they are. I have never been dissatisfied with the customer service.

Best customer service EVER! Harry showed me how to make a valve/tee work even though I had purchased it elsewhere, then - for FREE - he cut and flared some small copper tubing to make better tube stiffeners for me! Harry patiently explained and reexplained differences between compression fittings and pipe thread fittings, he drew diagrams, and even opened several packages to show me how I should be connecting things, until I finally understood and was able to finish my plumbing project.

Great customer service. I came in looking for an item and even though I didnt know the exact name and had a vague description the sales person immediately knew what I was talking about. I also purchased a small shopping cart for my elderly mother and without asking, they offered to attach the wheels at no cost. They also have everything you can think of and I could spend hours wandering around even though I am hardware ignorant. Check them out!

Big box stores might get you 2% savings, but you cant find better service and expertise. You think the 19yr old at Home Depot knows the difference between NPT pipe threads and SAE? Do you? These guys know.

I had spent the better part of a day looking for wheels for my sliding door. Three of the four wheels were broken, the door came off of its track every time it was opened or closed. It took four hardware stores to find my roller wheels. When I walked into the North Heights store they said but of course and led to my goal.

They are very helpful and knowledgeable about what they sell. They are also friendly and easy to talk with.

Good people and clean store. The small engine service department is top notch. I bought a Weber grill and an Echo weed whip here. Both of which have been flawless for many years.

These guys do tons of work because they are the best. Sometimes you may have to wait a few days but they do it right. I have been going to these guys for 12 years and they get it right the first time. I usually deal with Jim but everyone is very helpful there. AAAAA+ for service.
