Their customer service was perfection from the time I walked through the door until I picked up my beautifully repaired 2001 Subaru. The added bonus was the detailing done to the car which made her look like she did when I left the dealership 20 years earlier. This 70 year old lady was more then pleased and I thank Josh for all of his efforts and kindness.
Suburban Auto Body made the process of collision repair absolutely seamless. Rental vehicle was ready and waiting on the drop off day and the repair was completed days ahead of the initial estimate I received from the adjuster. The work was completed expertly with perfect paint matching and panel repair. You dont want to need a body/collision shop but should you find yourself in that situation, Suburban gets top marks.

This is the place to go for auto body work in the Twin Cities. Ive had to get body work done on a couple of occasions for two different vehicles. They were super helpful, easy to work with and performed high quality work. Impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail (they spotlessly cleaned both vehicles before I got them back). Cannot recommend them more highly.
Outstanding experience! Had someone hit my car in a parking lot and wound up with some scraped paint and trim. Found Suburban via the Nissan Certified Collision Repair Network, and it couldnt have been a better experience. They coordinated w/the rental car company and the insurer and just made it really painless for me. After the repair I could not tell that there had ever been any damage; the paint matched perfectly and the trim was swapped out around the fender. They even gave the interior a [much needed] cleaning! While I hope I dont wind up needing auto body repairs again any time soon, if I do I know this will be where Im going.

Suburban Auto Body has restored my confidence in auto body repair. I have had several bad experiences with other shops in the past and actually held out for about 3 months after a collision with a large black bear. Just didn’t want to deal with the headache I am used too. Not the case at all with Suburban, we could not be happier with everything from estimating the damage, to giving us a beautiful loaner car for about $25 total for about 2 weeks. They completed around $10,000 worth of repairs in the time frame they quoted. The workmanship was flawless and their facility is very impressive! I will recommend them to everyone! I had never been in an accident before and when I was two weeks ago I overwhelmed to say the least. I quickly searched for the best rated auto body shop and came across Suburban Auto Body. They walked me through the entire process, even setting up a rental for me through the other partys insurance! There was extensive damage but they completed the job sooner than I expected. Everything they did was spot on, leaving it look as good as the day I drove it off the lot. Everyone who works here is nothing but professional and caring. Wouldnt take my car anywhere else!

Suburban Auto Body has best customer service I have ever experienced.. Someone backed into my car and just drove off. It didnt seem like a lot of damage but all the damage was not apparent without skilled assessment. Suburban Auto Body took care of everything, they dealt with the insurance company and arranged for a rental car. They were able to circumvent used parts, as the insurance company requested, by obtaining discounts on new parts. The staff were professional and courteous from start to finish. I highly recommended Suburban Auto Body to anyone in need of service, especially if you are unsure of what you need done or want it done by caring, skilled professionals.

My 19 Chevy Suburban was rear-ended by another vehicle and my brother recommended Suburban Auto Body to bring in my vehicle for repair. Jamie helped me through the insurance claim process and he along with the other staff I dealt with (Josh, Mike, Dennis, and front desk personnel) was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and competent. From the initial phone call explaining the insurance process and time-frame, to body work and pickup, the transition was very smooth. I have to admit that the wait time for repair estimate was a little long but its understanding being that it was winter and that my vehicle was still drive-able. Thank you for the wonderful service.

I got my bumper replace back in late summer. This was my first car repair of any sort so I was pretty apprehensive, but I felt like I was in good hands and the staff answered all of my questions and were incredibly patient.The actual process of getting the repair done was super easy, and within 15 minutes of arriving to my appointment I had a loaner car and was good to go.They replaced the metal bar, padding and plastic sheath of my bumper (plus a repaint to match), reset my airbag monitor and replaced my locked seat belt. That, plus the wonderful detailing, left my car looking better than how I got it! No kidding, the paint job was so spot on no one could even tell I had the entire bumper replaced.Id definitely come back if I ever need any more body work done! It was worth going a little out of my way for the service.Thanks a lot!

Everyone at Suburban Auto Body are great! I had two claims with my vehicle and they worked on them together. The kept me in the loop as far as how much damage there was and also how long it would take. When I picked up my vehicle, they had detailed the inside and it was like new! We have used Suburban Auto Body several times when our vehicles have been hit. They have performed high quality and timely repairs and worked with the other parties insurance on collecting for the work. In the most recent incident Suburban kept us and our insurance company updated on collecting the cost of the repairs from the person who backed into our vehicle. I would give the staff at Suburban the highest recommendation for workmanship and customer service.

When I picked up my car the blind spot side mirrors weren’t working. I thought I wouldn’t have them anymore. After a few weeks I called and they said they’d take care of it.ADDENDUM: suburban picked up my car today and brought it to the shop. It was just a switch on the dash that switches it on/off. Josh called and explained where it was. Even took a picture and pointed it out so I knew where it was. Now THATS going above and beyond!!I hope I don’t require body work on my vehicles, but if I do, I wouldn’t hesitate to use their company!! They are the best!!

Someone ran into my wifes newer car when she was stopped at a stoplight. The person who hit her had State Farm and they let us pick where we wanted to go for repairs. I picked Suburban Auto Body because we had a great experience with them about 5 years ago. We used the location at Polar Chevrolet in White Bear Lake. Doug and Dennis were great to work with. They are a preferred shop for State Farm so they handled all of the logistics with State Farm and the car rental company. It could not have been easier and our car was returned like new! This could have been a real pain but Suburban took care of everything. I can highly recommend them!

We got into a jam visiting family in MN. We were in a car accident 4 hours from home and got towed to Suburban. We were one of likely hundreds that night. By the time we arrived, they were just about to close but stayed open to help us. They got us a rental, kept us regularly updated and worked with the insurance companies. Our car looked great and was even detailed when I picked it up. Thank you for the great service!!
They had my Silverado for two weeks to do minor body work. I was told they would call me when it was disassembled to let me know the amount of damage. They never called until the work was completed.They detailed the interior. Even though they never said they were doing it and I never approved them to do it. The detailing included them jamming my glove boxes full with my personal items. The rest went into a cardboard box in the back seat. This included two of the seat bracket covers they knocked off when vacuuming.When I got it back my radio didnt work for some reason. I pulled the fuse and reinstalled it and it worked.They broke my bug deflector (with custom lettering) and tried to hide it. When I brought it back to complain (two hours after I picked it up) they did offer to order another one, have it lettered and install it. However, I will not have them touch another vehicle of mine. I told them they could buy another one, have it lettered, and give it to me to have installed...they refused. I offered to bring it to another shop to have it replaced...they refused. I offered to accept the loss ($185 is what I paid 5 years ago) if they return the money I had spent on tire rotation and minor door ding repair ($190)...they refused.I believe I was speaking with their General Manager in their parking lot. He wouldnt accept my offers and I wouldnt accept his. There was nothing left to discuss but he stood there, blocking me from leaving. I had to ask him twice to move so I wouldnt hit him while backing out. Theyll never touch another vehicle of mine.

Service at Suburban is A++. They exceeded my expectations with the repair quality, and the speed was amazing. They also called me several times to give me updates, and arranged for my car rental to be ready and waiting the morning of the repair so I didnt have to pick it up from the rental agency. While I wasnt thrilled someone hit my vehicle, Suburban turned the situation around. My car doors looked brand new, and the silver lining was when I picked up my car, they had done a spectacular detail job, which would have easily cost $100. The back seat of my car was pretty gross when I dropped it of (from the food I let my kids eat) but Suburban made it look perfect and removed a ton of sand and silt from the winter. The attention to detail and customer service is worth taking the time to write a Google review.

Excellent experience at suburban auto body.The really out did themselves after a collision on my Audi. They handled the insurance claimed, went for quality and pushed the insurance claim to actually cover the damages instead of merely repairing the damage like other auto body shops would.To my surprise, they detailed the car.Communication was great throughout the process.Like I said, excellent, A+ and will be recommending people here.

If I could give ten stars I would. I had my first at fault accident in my first newer vehicle, 2013 Dodge Dart. My family and friends all recommended this place that I had never heard of. I called and was treated so professionally, that I came in for an initial estimate. I believe John did the initial estimate. Walked the car with me, asked about my concerns and upon learning I did not know the process, told me they would take care of the talking to the insurance company and help me with a rental car if I wanted (but there was no pressure). Took pictures, listened to my concerns, and said he would send an estimate to my insurance. Told me about my option to request manufacturer parts instead of aftermarket (Much obliged!) I was not concerned with price as my deductible was only $500, I was concerned with quality on my newer vehicle I had only owned for 6 months!!!Decided to go with them for the repairs. John and Jamie communicated the entire time, Letting me know when I the parts arrived, working with me to do an after hours drop off due to my work schedule, and were very upfront about the fact that there may be a follow up estimate due to concealed damage under the hood (Which I did not want to open because I needed to drive it).I went with a rental car through enterprise down the road- but I regret not going with their company, my experience with enterprise was a hassle, though it did get resolved.Was called every time there was an update on my car, and was told the timeline all along, including when there were more repairs after the hood was opened and more parts needed to be ordered. They worked with a sense of urgency, but also with only the highest quality work in mind. Went in to pick up my car, and was given a thorough walk of the vehicle, with a detailed explanation of the work done, the warranty, and a pack of info for everything we discussed.They went above and beyond, even painting surrounding undamaged parts to blend the new parts in- since my car is Red (meaning very tough to match...), and I know this is important. It was flawless! The vehicle was brand new again, and they even vacuumed it! Came back in, paid my deductible (they handled my insurance company), and was on my way.I noticed about a week later that my new headlight was aimed a little low. Due to my busy schedule, about a month later I took it in and they apologized, and had it realigned within minutes without any questions!Could not be happier with the work. They even helped me with a recommendation for glass company for a new rock chip in my windshield. I fully intend on returning to their shop for any future repairs (including a door ding I just found...) And would/do recommend them to everyone I know.If you want more convincing visit their shop. There are many thank you notes along their front window, including mine!:)

I got into a car crash the week before christmas. I couldnt afford the repairs. The company was nice enough to allow my vehicle to be stored on their property without charge until after Christmas, the only time I could have it removed. I cant comment on their workmanship because i didnt get any work done but the company was very polite, down to earth, and hospitable.
