This was not the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at - lots of stains on carpets throughout the hotel, and the sheets on our bed were worn out. The pillows were very comfortable. The place needs a good cleaning and update from top to bottom. Oddly, the elevators smelled quite badly. The front desk was pleasant and very helpful. For the price, it was ok. It is easy to get to and from I-88. It is mostly office buildings nearby, so the immediate neighborhood doesnt have a lot of places to eat in the immediate vicinity that we found, but if its just a place to sleep one night and you eat before check in, thats probably fine. I probably wouldnt spend multiple nights there. They seem quite pet friendly. We saw a number of dogs during our stay. So if thats not your thing, find another hotel. If you travel with pets, this hotel may be what you are looking for.
Just attended a wedding today. They served such a horrible food, we can get better food at a local Italian place. My wife had pasta, and they had no clue as to what kind of cheese they put on the top, we asked the server to give some parmasean cheese, the server got us some shredded mozzarella cheese instead. The fish I had tasted like a dry fish, no good flavor for a small salmon piece. The potatoes that came with the fish was like frozen ones. Please do not choose this palace for any large gatherings or wedding reception.
I was turned away 3 times waiting for a room to become available. Finally, guest services decided to give us an upgraded room at no cost. This upgraded room had no refrigerator, the water pressure in the shower kept fluctuating when using it.It seems this location is aging and isnt receiving the required maintenance to be adequate in todays industry.
It’s great if you love waking up to a rash and no concern from management about it. Love being eating alive while you sleep? This is the place for you! After being transferred from another room with no air and clogged toilets.
Positive: It did have a working pool which my kids enjoyed. The lobby and entrance were clean. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. Negative: The activity room lacked all gaming equipment. The lockers didnt look like they are regularly cleaned. The basement felt more like a dungeon than a recreation area. No house cleaning available which was inconvenient.
Was able to check in early (8 AM), great front desk. Hotel room wasnt entirely cleaned - found some soilded linen in bathroom and the safety seal on the mouth wash was open. Overall, fine experience, not terrible and not fantastic.
Positive: If you want a quiet hotel? Negative: Bar was closed during our stay. Very few people staying here. Wouldn¿t go back.
It was okay. Lobby was mostly clean, and fun to hang out in. Had an incident one evening where a woman broke a glass bottle, and it took the staff two hours to clean. There was glass everywhere. I had to bring it to the front desk attention, and so did my cousin about an hour later when it still was not clean. The front desk staff had to clean it. Guessing that theyre understaffed? But its super dangerous to leave glass all over a hotel floor for 2 hours.
Big mistake staying here. Room was still dirty when we checked in and reeked of cigarette smoke, no remote for the TV, hot water comes and goes during shower. Also, there were two dirty glasses in the hallway the day we arrived (no big deal, Im sure someone would grab those to be cleaned, right?) They were still there 2 days later when we checked out. This place is definitely trending downwards. Hotel management needs to get this dumpster fire under control ASAP.
Horrible room so dirty I was cleaning it before anything found a plastic cup under the bed and filled it with garbage from under the beds even found a Pill under the bed. Then found half empty bottle of vodka in the dresserJust old old old hotel
Positive: Nice hotel good location Negative: Room was not ready at 3 pm. After driving 6.5 hours and getting to hotel after 4:30 still had to wait until 5 tom o get a room. Also, housekeeping did not come to room daily (due to Covid). No breakfast service of any type.
THE ENTIRE STAFF WAS GREAT. THEY WERE UNDER STAFFED AND DIDNT EXPECT OVER 2,000 PEOPLE GOING THROUGH FOR THE WEEKEND. THEIR HOTEL WAS FULL AND THEY HAD GUEST FROM 2 OITHER HOTELS. UNDER THOSE CONDITIONS THEY WERE GREAT.
It was a nice hotel very clean and they were making sure all the visitors had on masks
Positive: Nothing Negative: There was very little staff to help with anything. It was very dirty. Also I had booked club lounge access and it wasn¿t open and didn¿t care to mention that at all .
Positive: location Negative: this hotel needs a face lift..its old aand tired. I cant believe that Sheraton would have a hotel that looks like this. i will not stay here again.
This is a once-nice hotel gone to seed; they dont appear to be spending effort to keep the rooms nice. Peeling wallpaper, faucets that dont work, 2+ minutes of running the shower before the hot water kicks in, and a pretty disgusting fitness and pool area (mold in several areas, what appear to be vomit/feces stains on chairs) lead me to believe theyre investing all their time and money in keeping the lobby and conference rooms spiffy to make money there. Its a very disappointing place to spend the night, with plenty of better options nearby that are only slightly higher in price.
Positive: bed was comfortable. Negative: television station selections limited. hair on bathroom walls, no microwave or refrigerator all hotels have them in the rooms now.was able to get a refrigerator as we had medical supplies that needed to be kept refrigerated.
I called to see if they had any rooms available . I was connected to guest services and was told by a very lazy and rude male to go online because he was very busy. I found that hard to believe especially since this call was placed at 4am. He sounded like he didnt know what he was doing and was too lazy to try. When I called back, he stated they were all booked. It didnt even sound like he checked and even moreso probably lied to not have to do anything. Sounds like someone didnt want to earn his paycheck. Dont recommend. Pathetic and unsatisfactory customer service. One of the worst Ive ever experienced.
Room conditions very bad, Stayed two nights for wedding, we had 30 rooms and all had same complain that no one came to clean room or replenish used items or take garbage out. Hotel did not have any shampoo. Kept on telling us that they are getting more from other hotel but never did.
I wanted to like this hotel because of the photos, the reason for visiting (wedding) and because it is a Sheraton/Marriott. I did not mention this to the sweet bride, because I did not want to stress the bride out. The customer service was not good and I recieved an attitude all but one time and I wish I remebered her name to name drop. There was a water-drinking ban that we were not told about immediately upon arrival. In fact, nobody told us. A friend from the wedding group told us. We were not provided with free water bottles and could not drink the tap water. Our room smelled of awful smoke and was dirty upon arrival. Ashes behind the toilet and dirty dishes that were not ours outside ALL weekend. The housekeeping team did not arrive once or pick up the dishes. The room was dirty and never vaccummed. Make sure you pick up the mattress and check for bed bugs in drawers and bedsheets - it is not well kept. If you sit down for breakfast, be prepared to get a bill of $25 at the very end, after nobody comes up to you. I truly understand it is COVID and understaffed, but there was an empty breakfast lobby. I expected more for the title and price of the hotel.
Positive: Location Negative: No maid service until after 3 days stay, I was only there 3 days, so zero service! So higher cost and no service using the COVID excuse to increase their profits!
Our room was huge, much larger than rest of parties rooms. No restaurant. Bar wasnt open very late. Sheets were ripped and I was told they had no housekeeping at night so they would bring me sheets and I can change them myself. Mattress pad and mattress were disgusting under sheets. Hairs on pad, HUGE urine stain on bed. Expected more from a Sheraton.
Our church had a conference at this location. The rooms were filthy! There was garbage in the ice room that appeared to have been there for at least 2 days by the smell. We had to clean our own rooms and the ballroom because the hotel only had 4 people on staff for our entire ball. The food was catered but delicious. The two ladies at the front desk did their best to accommodate us. However, the sales person we booked with (Cristin B.) lied about what we were to expect, lied about refunding money for bad service and has yet to call back to address our group issues. This place is not worth the money spent. However, if you are interested in a place to walk your dogs and cats - its highly recommended.
Positive: Great location, room was well equipped for business travelers Negative: Seemed like no one had been in there for weeks - dusty, desk chair was missing (they brought it immediately on request), hair in the sink, etc.
Negative: 1. Very worst experiences. 2. This should rating as model and room is not clean. if i said so she gave very worst room. 3. No towel in morning if we requested 4. Very much partiality if we are asking anything they think we didnot paid. Please dont book
It was a nice place to have our Convention 🎉
Hotel definitely different than advertised. Dated and tired. From front desk person eating while checking us in to broken elevator. To dirty elevators and hallway. Overflowing garbages in lobby. No air conditioning in the common areas. Fitness center was disgusting and machines don’t work properly. Our room was ok. Bed comfortable. Bathroom ok. Had to ask for our room fridge which was brought up promptly. Restaurants closed (maybe post covid related). Will not be coming back.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This was the worse hotel experience I ever had and I am not over exaggerating. I booked a corner executive suite two weeks in advance and even called the hotel to extend my stay. When I arrived, I was told that the suites were not available due to water damage from burst pipes. The front desk woman, Dona, explained that this affected all the suites and this happened over a month ago. Despite being down for a month, I was still allowed to book both online and through the phone. (The suites are still available online). She apologizes and gives us a normal room and then tells us that she will send a fridge and microwave to up which will make our room “just like a suite”. She lied. We had very little room, especially when the fridge and microwave was put on the floor by the door. Then, I go to use the bathroom and when I flushed the toilet water began to leak out everywhere. It looked like I took a bottle of water and poured it on the ground.Upset about the situation, I asked to speak to the manager and was told she would not be there until 11pm. I then called corporate who told me that they are not problem solvers. Great. So I wait until management gets in. I spoke with Bertha, who was wonderful at first but quickly began lying to us as well. Bertha apologized for the inconvenience and offered to send us to another hotel for a similar price (this was my suggestion). We agreed and brought out belongings down. As we entered the lobby, she told us that there was a “cancellation” and they had a suite available and we could stay there for free. She took us to the room and told us to try it out for the night and if we didn’t like it, we could go to the other hotel for the same price. We agreed because it was the suite we wanted and it was free. We thought our troubles were over. We thanked her and as she left, she informed us that house keeping would be in to clean the next day. Ecstatic about our great opportunity, we set our things down and began to look around. To our horror, there were dead lady bugs all over the floor and hair and dead gnats in the bath tub. We called down, asked for a vacuum, and reported the problem. We, just wanting a place to lay our heads, vacuumed the entire room. The next morning we called and asked that housekeeping come clean our room as Bertha promised. The person at the front desk agreed and said they’d stop by. Not believing them, we went down to the front desk to make sure. On our way out of the room, we noticed the floor eerily quiet and most likely empty, leading us to believe that our room had be vacant for some time. We got to the front desk and asked again that our room would be serviced. The front desk person told us that they were calling housekeeping right then. When we returned to our room several hours later, the vacuum was gone but the room had not been touched. Frustrated, we called the hotel that Bertha offered to send us to just to find out that that room would have only costed this special rate for one night and we could not get it for the rest of our stay. After confronting Dona about all the lies told to us, this special rate magically appeared again and we left the hotel. Do not trust this hotel. Do not trust the staff. They are liars and they blatantly and purposefully lied to us the entire stay.
Decently clean, but horribly rude service! Rooms were not ready by check in, def would not recommend!
Nice motel but very poor maintenance. They have expired coffee packets in the room and when asked at front desk replied there are no more coffees available. I wouldn’t recommend this motel.
Positive: This hotel was very clean Negative: the water pressure in the shower and the water temperature werent the best.
Positive: Room was spacious Negative: Housekeeping upon request and not done when asked. Bars and restaurants closed because of covid but Marriott down the street was open snd the hotel hosted an event.
Positive: The location and cleanliness. Negative: The details of the room was that it had a refrigerator in it but it didnt. I found out once I checked in and to get one it would cost $30.
Staff shortage during pandemic. What really got me was towel shortage!🤦♀️ What happen to the towels?
Positive: Very friendly staff Also very accommodating Negative: Not at all. All was very good
No fridge, wasnt as pictured on website. Horrible shower pressure. Beds were very comfy so thats why Im leaving a 2 stars.
Nice friendly staff and well maintained hotel rooms
Restaurants are closed. House keeping only on 3 day. Lounge closed. To be expected. Staff was very nice.
Positive: It was clean. Negative: No place to eat. I booked 2 rooms one of them had a hoe in the wall.
Covid restrictions need to be disclosed. No restaurants, room service, cleaning service only if your there 3 days (did not see any cleaning people anywhere), swimming pool not really available, customer service was just ok. For the price... ok its a room with a nice bed. I expected more.... I am sure it is great when everything is rolling but full disclosure needs to be made while in wait.
My dawg stayed here and I think everything was good.Your vending machines are too expensive though... $3 for a bottle of water is unethical, lol
Friendly atmosphere decent staff
SUCKSS! I just checked in and I can’t believe this very poor customer service.
Positive: Amenities and convenient location. Negative: Nothing
Positive: Nothing! Negative: No hot water in the sink. Told them twice about it, nothing was done. They did not even offer me another room. Very disappointed.
I had to stay there because they wouldnt let me cancel. We asked for towels they said there were NONE ....how can a big hotel like that have no towels ...employees were walking around eating etc...never stay there again they didnt care whether we stayed or not😣😣😣
Outdated. Fitness center not open. Restaurant/Bar not open. Not very clean inside and outside.
Positive: I was hesitant to take this business trip because of COVID, but the Sheraton put me at ease. The room and common areas were very clean. Plus this hotel has a great park with a walking path just behind it, so I was able to get some fresh air and exercise. Negative: Everything was great.
We were there for a convention and the conference rooms they gave us did not have working air conditioning. It was July, over 90 degrees, and miserable. This lasted three days with no fix. Multiple trips to the bathroom revealed lack of toilet paper, hand towels, and soap. Parking was conveniently located and free.
Negative: Hotel had bed bug they were not accommodating
I was extremely disappointed that this is a Marriott property. It DID NOT provide a Marriott experience. The place was very, very sparse with customers. The facility was very dirty thoroughout. The elevator, the front entrance of the hotel, outside garbages overflowing, carpet on my floor needed vacuuming and my own room had a stain on my sheets, sink had a large crack in it, the shower light did not work, the ceiling was peeling over the shower and they had no amenities available. Extrememly disappointing, when there is a full service Marriott not even a half a mile away and has everything open and you see 2-3 cleaners on site at all times. I never saw a cleaning staff person nor anyone else besides the front desk attendent.
There were blood stains on our sheets! I’d like to ask the staff what they were thinking making that bed?!?! Disgusting, and although the FD has promised new sheets, there wasn’t any apology or even shock when we informed them.
Desperately needs upgrading. Room was dark with poor lighting. Very few towels. Restaurant, bar, pool, most everything is closed. Glad we were only here 1 night.
Very clean, decor was very nice, wish bar and restaurant was open
Appeared to be a nice place to stay
Ok service, AC in ballrooms was not working
Positive: Location Negative: Clean silliness and closed pool no bar/lounge even post covid
Positive: Condition of the room and condition of the common areas in the hotel Negative: Not really
My room smells like smokers room and under my chair there is a bottle of Gatorade probably from the previous customer. How could they not see it??? Nasty so disappointed
What a joke! The TV cable didnt work, the shower was terrible. Worst hotel I have stayed in years. So disappointed.
No breakfast or pool as advertised. Walls paper thin
Food service in ballroom event was AA++
Negative: To check in was supposed at 3:00 PM, but there was a delay from the hotel and gave me the key to the room around 4:00 PM.
Why would you have one elevator going on a Friday night? Especially since we had dogs and didnt want to get on a elevator with others when we had the dogs, Otherwise other than that very clean, comfortable beds.
Very kind staff, hotel is a bit older the most. Rooms need a bit renovation in my opinion and didnt feel super clean, but overall very nice stay! Customer service was great, hotel was very quiet (probably due to COVID). Overall, good stay!
Positive: Great experience
Positive: Clean well appointed excellent staff!!
Lost count of stays now. Family favorite when we come for Chicago area visit. Great value for quality of room amd support. Kids love pool and racquetball. Good location for dining and shopping. Easy to get to Wheaton and Naperville whihc is good for us. Loads of easy parking.
Here for an event, restaurant/bar not open the entire day. Very dated looking hotel. Lack of staff to clean the lobby garbage
Receiving an upgrade made all the difference for us! Hotel is a bit dated but was very comfortable. We enjoyed an exceptional room with a large space, and comfortable bed. Breakfast in the lounge was not spectacular but we enjoyed that it was for members only. Bathroom was a bit dated but perfectly fine. Hotel provides a nice bathrobe.
Our family group stayed here for two nights while on a short trip in November. This is a nice hotel with friendly staff and is only about a 28 min drive to OHare airport and downtown Chicago. The staff was kind enough to let us use a large table for our group to eat some pizza in the lobby and offered to keep the leftovers in their refrigerator since there arent any in the rooms. I do have a couple of things to note though, one of our rooms was not very clean - it wasnt super dirty, but it just wasnt as clean as it should have been, especially the bathroom floor. We had rooms next to each other and in one room you could hear what was going on in the bathroom of the other room through the bath exhaust vent which was annoying to the members of our group in that room. And lastly, we needed an infant crib for one of the rooms and when we requested one they said they didnt have any available. That seemed odd as there were clearly not very many guests in the hotel that night, the parking lot was practically empty and we only saw one couple check in during our time spent in the lobby. Overall, a good place to stay for the price we paid (during Covid19), but I think there are some better options that I would consider on my next trip to the Chicago area.
Positive: very nice hotel. clean and friendly
The housekeeping staff was great! My room was extremely clean and always had towels and toiletries available. The front desk staff was helpful and gracious. The only problem I had was that the common rooms (lounge area, meeting rooms) were extremely cold. I complained but the issue persisted
Beautiful, spacious hotel inside. 7th floor king room was excellently appointed. All amenities that youd expect were included. Modern and updated. Starbucks coffee in room👍Unfortunately due to Covid restaurant, bar and snack area closed.
Bad service, read bad
Negative: Room had bad smell
Don’t visit this property during COVID. They have given up on trying to offer anything value to their guests. Everything is closed. No points when they can’t offer breakfast. Customer service was a huge drag and only one person working. They seemed frustrated that you bothered visiting their hotel. Hotel room was filthy. The room was barely cleaned. Sticky substances all over the counters and fridge. One of the most disappointing Marriott stays I have ever experienced. This Sheraton has given up and it shows.
The staff at this hotel are particularly outstanding. They are ALL very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are always very clean. The two restaurants at this hotel that we have used are very casual and the food is unique and very good. Again, the staff at any location within the hotel are quite amazing. The lobby area is large and feel you can get a lot accomplished, or just sit and relax
You want a quarantine this is it.... nobodys here.... good luck on food though
Me and my daughter arrived earlier at the hotel. We were very tired from the flight. I talked to front desk and asked if we could check in earlier instead to wait few hours until afternoon check in time. She is very nice and let us checked in. We got room to rest. Feeling warm and be cared. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.
Had week end long function there, a lot of transforming large rooms to different configurations, handled well. Staff very nice and helpful. Only pitfall at Saturday night banquet someone quit leaving a block of tables with no food while others got dessert.
Easy dog-friendly establishment. We were here for a wedding and they made it so easy to bring our dog. There is a fee and set of rules (including not leaving them alone in the room) but we had no issues. The rest of the hotel was as expected, no big frills but no real complaints. Pictured is the junior king suite.
Nice place to stay the night, close to Chicago, easy to find. The bedding was very comfortable, pool was clean if not a little cool, room and halls were kept up decently. It appears a little dated in decor. I got a great deal on Priceline, so I only paid about half price of the website. But, the shower head needs to be upgraded and TV is a bit old. Since I cant give it a 4 ½, Ill give it the full 5.
Attended a job event here. The hotel was very nice, clean & stylish. I would like to stay a few days and see if the services compliments the ambiance. Did stop two staff members for assistance. One spoke no English. The other lady act like she didnt hear me talking to her. She put her head down behind the desk the second time I walked passed her.
Rooms are comfortable and rates are good. Convenient location for us. No Bell man however its the one drawback. Pool is nice!
Very nice. Great service, clean rooms and good amenities. Will stay here again on future trips.
We attended a banquet at the hotel. Tried the bar too. Neither were too impressive, but for sure not bad either. The hotel is conveniently located close to the highway. Also close to some large businesses and SOS - we also walked outside for half an hour. Safe and relatively quiet.
The front staff was great ! I’ve had issues since the first day that I checked in. First thing that happened is my room I got was dirty I was moved to another room than none of the outlets worked . I also was charged full price of stay on first night and not only that . I was charged almost 300 more than it was supposed to be . I was offered a credit which was great credit Which I haven’t gotten back yet . I’ve called my bank and they don’t see anything pending. I had another issue where the restaurant charged me $100+ for a charge that wasn’t used. I am still waiting to get my money refunded back into my account it’s been 3 days already. I was here on business for the PSA convention. I sure hope I get my money back . This stay has been horrible . Staff upfront has attempted to help me as much as they can and all the smiles and politeness unfortunately doesn’t change the fax that I am missing money in my account due to hotel error !
This facility is excellent. My room was clean and comfortable as well as the rest of the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of the onsite restaurants and bar. The staff members are just as pleasing.
Can’t explain exactly what makes this hotel incredible. A lot. The Best of the NW Suburbs. That is certain...For me this is the only hotel to stay in if you’re in the burbs during the cold months.
Good hotel for area. Staff was very accommodating for some non standard issues we provided. Good room options for unique situations.
Nice hotel except stairwells were filthy and my room was opened up before I checked out. Bed was super comfy, temp was good. Was very quiet. Nice gym. Room was clean.
The room was nice and modern. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. There was almost no hot water in the bathroom though and we were only on the second floor. The to reception sucked and the Internet was iffy. There was also like a 1inch gap under the door and it let in so much light that I could do shadow puppets on the wall.
Pros: The room was cozy with the decor being mostly updated. The beds were comfortable, offering a great nights sleep! Nice & warm adjustable room temp. Lower level rec area offered ping pong, racket ball, pool, locker room & fitness center.Cons: The bathroom didnt have a fan, making venting impossible. Room for a small fridge & microwave but not an offered amenity. While the majority of the hotel had beautiful, elaborate decor, the lower level rec area could use some TLC and enough equipment available to take advantage of unique offerings.
We had an awesome time, We had approx 65 rooms reserved in our block and the hotel took very good care. The staff was excellent and our guests enjoyed a lot. Only suggestion was that each room should have a fridge and microwave - not having that is sort of an inconvenience,
My favorite place to stay in Lisle. It seems that all the hotels in Lisle are a little worn down, including this one, but its very clean, the beds and pillows are extremely comfy, the main lobby is very cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly. Hands down the best place Ive stayed in Lisle.
It was a VERY VERY hectic week at a conference but every employee I came across (except banquet staff) went above and beyond. Its an older hotel with a Millennial feel. Food was great!Shuttle does not work on the weekends. But during the week it was awesome!Great visit!Hour away from the city but next to the CTA (train station) shuttle takes you there)
