I go to Craigs for nearly all my auto service work for many years. They are one of the few shops I trust. My most recent jobs included fixing a strange brake noise, replacing a headlight, a new set of tires, and diagnosing pulsating brakes.I have always been satisfied and have saved a lot of money by avoiding unneeded repairs on my three old Hondas.

I was not informed of what it took to comprehensively fix my vehicles power steering. His mechanics claimed to not hear or be aware of a horrible, obviou screeching/vibration/rattling noise when the the steering wheel is turned. Consequently, i spent a lot of money to have the power steering fixed, and a big problem still persists. The communication from the shop explaining the symptoms of my vehicles problems is poor/nonexistent.Im very disappointed with Craigs Auto Repair, andfranklywill probably not do business withthem anymore. EDIT- Craig took care of the problems for me. Im very pleased with the result. Im very appreciative to him and Ill definitely be using Craigs auto repair for my needs in the future. Today we have changed the left tire on the Avalon hybrid.In the process has found out and fixed the missing plug and had fastened the dented part of bumper underneath the car.Fast, courteous and efficient as always. Honest, hard-working, dedicated to the customer team.One stop for any repair, gasoline and the wash. Or good advice if you need one.Craig’s Auto is the best shop around and his team are like family for the whole our community.I recommend that you go there for all your car needs, as I do for more than 15 years.

I never really leave reviews but this is one of the best places to bring your car. They have quick turn arounds and the prices are always reasonable. Being a young girl I feel like I always have to fight at auto repair shops to not get scammed but that is not the case here. The owner is amazing and truly cares about his customers. I refuse to go anywhere else to get my car fixed.

Overall I had a great experience here. I had a fuel leak problem and I ordered my own tank but the place I ordered from shipped me the wrong tank. Craigs Auto was able to get it same day and installed it and was out on the lot! I couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality, time management, and prices. I couldn’t argue at all! I will be coming back for more work in the future!

Wonderful experience with craigs auto. I found out, while I was out of town, I needed emergency repairs to my car. Both upper ball joints were near failure on my front wheels. Kerry was very kind, called me back with a hour of me dropping off the car, while I was planning on being without it for a few days, lining up a rental car etc., I got a call later that day that my car was done and I picked it up same day. I strongly recommend this place to anyone in the Lisle/Naperville/Downers Grove area.

The owner is very honest, rate is very reasonable. I was impressed that I originally went there to see if I need to change the stuff that lets air pump into my tire, and it is normally 90 something. The guy told me I dont have to change it after inspecting it! They just cleaned it for me free of charge!Highly recommend this place. Now j have moved away, I will still be driving 30 min to this place

I was driving from Chicago to Aurora and punctured a tire on the I-88. I pulled over off IL53 and had no idea what was around. Conveniently Craig’s shop was right in the corner. Craig’s technician was extremely friendly and took care of showing me what had happened. They were super nice in offering putting on the spare tire for me. Craig himself was present and was extremely friendly in conversing with me about business while waiting.A million thanks to Craig and his team for the professional help. Coming from the automotive side and dealing with a lot of the shops in the Chicagoland area. Craig definitely is top notch service and very knowledgeable.

I have been using Craigs for close to 20 years after they took care of a flat tire. They have always done what they said they would do in he time frame they said they would do it. They are thoughtful, professional and reasonably priced. Just as if not more importantly, they think ahead and work to prevent future problems with effective preventative services. Ive been coming here for decades, mainly because of Cary. He creates trust, is open to questions, and even my hairbrain ideas! 🤤The whole staff creates confidence by producing solid work, and Cary manages them yet finds time to keep me updated when I must make quick decisions or when the car is ready.Craigs is pretty good for your local corner gas station-garage. They treat me very well. And their prices seem reasonable. They are also reasonably accommodating.I trust Craigs to give me accurate information about my cars. And Craig, the owner, is one of the nicest guys youll meet.

Been going to Craigs for repairs on my familys four vehicles for years.They are very honest and do great work. I once ran over debris on the highway and took it to dealer that said it would cost over $1,000 to replace damaged sensors. Craigs mechanic fixed it for no charge in about 15 minutes by reattaching the wires and mechanical parts that had come loose on the under-carriage.

I have taken my vehicles to Craigs Auto since 2000 and they have never let me down. They are great at diagnosing problems and executing permanent fixes. Perhaps more importantly, they help me avoid problems with timely and cost effective preventative care. My 2005 Volvo is about to hit 200,000 miles and it runs like is just came off the showroom floor thanks to these guys and I have recommended them to many people over the years. These are very nice and straightforward folks with reasonable rates, I wish there were more folks that have their helpful attitude across all walks of life.

Awesome service! I purchased my brakes through Auto Zone thinking I would find someone to do them and ended up wanting a professional job in the end. Called Craigs and they said they would allow me to bring in the parts and do the labor. Was able to get an appointment for a few days later. Asked that the car be finished by a certain time and it was done ahead of schedule. Easy drop off/pick up and everyone there was really nice! Great pricing. Will be back for future repairs/services.

AMAZING & so helpful. Went above and beyond what is expected of an Auto Service Center. Any time I have ever left an auto repair experience, I have left feeling taken advantage of and unsatisfied. Craig was referred to me by one of my colleague.The most trustworthy and best garage in Lisle and nearby area. Have always received the best service from them.Wont charge you for unnecessary services. Will charge you for what is actually wrong.Have even gone to them for just a consultation and gave me the guidance (free) in the most non-selfish manner as possible. Simple radiator hose & elbow repair. They did the repair the next day as promised. Craig and his team seem like good guys. My only complaint is the high $110.00 per hour labor rate and not following up with a quote for other work I asked them to look at.

Honest, reasonable prices, and friendly staff.....are only some of the reasons to get your car serviced at Craigs. I had the service engine indicator light go off on my dashboard and Craigs was able to accommodate a time with me to bring my car into the shop. They diagnosed the problem, offered me pricing to fix the issue, and had the work completed in a reasonable time frame. About a month after the service, my check engine light once again illuminated. I brought my car into the shop last week. They scanned it, told me the problem and were able to do a quick-fix without having to change the part out. They didnt charge me for the service and so far the light has stayed off. I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the staff at Craigs Auto.

I took my car in to have brakes and they diagnosed a legitimate rear bearing and seal problem. They completed the repairs in a timely manner and at a very reasonable cost.I went because it was close to my office but will return for excellent service.

Absolutely unacceptable behavior, tone, and rudeness from the cashier Claire. Her lack of anything resembling customer service was shocking. Ive never been yelled at during a purchase. Or threatened. Or spoken to so rudely without any change despite my patience and length of time speaking to her. Is she emotionally unstable? Has she never been trained on how to properly converse with others? How is it possible that a woman becomes this enraged operating a cash register with one customer in the business? Seriously, not okay. Like shes mentally not okay.

I have been taking my cars to Craigs Auto Service for over 10 years and have always been very happy with the service. They are trust worthy and do excellent work. I started going there when I grew tired of paying the dealer to service an older European car. Since then, I have been taking all my cars to Craigs.

Craigs bailed me out. The car was acting up on my morning commute and they were able to get me in that morning without an appointment and get me back on the road the same day. As always I appreciate the ride to work too. These guys are A++ and are my go to mechanic.

My wife and I have been dealing with Craigs Auto Service for almost 18 years. They have also helped other members of our family and some of our friends over that time. Most recently, they came to our house when one of our cars wouldnt start. They jumped the battery and took the car in to test it. As we feared, their records showed that the battery was 8 years old. We asked them to replace it and we picked the car up a short time later. This is typical of their level of service. They are the best.

Been going here for years for all my work, grandparents told me craigs was the best shop around . Plus theres a 24 hour carwash and awesome deals on cigarettes at the convenience store which is connected to the garage . Plus the store half is open all the time, the guy who works night times is pretty cool too . I give the place 5 stars

First time visit for an oil change and they checked everything in the front end from brakes to air filter (asked me if I wanted it replaced), spark plugs, etc. Trustworthy mechanics. Highly recommend in Joliet area.

If I could give the team at Craigs Auto 10 stars I would! I was in a real pickle when my car overheated on my way to an out of town business meeting. I called Craigs on a recommendation from the nearby Advanced Auto Parts, explained the situation, and he said he could get me in right away. They were able to tell me the problem within a few minutes of me being there and had the quote and part ordered within a half hour. With a full radiator replacement and in such short notice I expected the repair to take most of the day. To my surprise they had it ready in about an hour and a half, with plenty of time for me to get to my scheduled meeting later that day.You guys are a lifesaver!!I recommend Craigs Auto without reservation!

Got the infamous lower intake manifold gasket replaced on my GM car because the coolant was leaking into the engine. They did a good job and charged less than the dealer would. $800 vs $1100-$1200 the dealer would jack from you.Ask for Craig, hes a reasonable guy.

Horrible. Customer service ...ran out of gas a couple blocks away, walk there and they wouldnt. Let me borrow. A gas can. I offered. 20dollar deposit. And with them knowing i had to come back to fill up to go back to Chicago. They were very rude...a white thick young guy with facial. Piercings and a Indian. Lookin guy. After everything. I had to pay 40 dollars for a gas can and 4 gallons of gas....
