We did have a good day. Lots to do and plenty of room to do it. My only warning is if you have any type of health issue that causes you not to be able to handle heated conditions do not even consider this place. The air is hot theres no kind of cooling system and the little fans they have throughout are not ever turned on. It was like being in a sauna the whole time. I wasnt able to enjoy most of the activities during to the heated conditions.

The place is ok. Definitely a recreation place for kids. I didnt get see the whole layout, because I was there for a basketball game. The building is on the old side so theres no AC. At least not in basketball area. Just a few big turbine ceiling fans that arent doing anything. Especially when its 113 degrees outside. If there was AC it would be great. Until then, 3 stars.

I love this place. The soccer field is perfect; the gym is well organized, I like to go in the morning because the gym is relatively empty, but I like it more because it is friendly and you dont feel judge by people, like in other places.

We rented a full court for a church small group and had a blast. Only issues: mid-summer and no A/C (still better than direct sunlight), couple dead spots on the floor (off to the side) & I got bit by something (thinking mosquitoes).

Very fun place. A lot to do. Get there early and beware it’s a huge warehouse so it’s SUPER HOT in there, like a sauna! Bad thing it’s far away.

The day I came in it was half off so I didnt spend that much money I should have called and still me to complain to the Business Bureau and the health department because a male and a female irie no one going to say the As and Bs the best thing I have my five year old son asking me what was going on there I couldnt ruin this place reputation if I want to but its all about the kids they just need to have more cameras upstairs FYI

Best Gym around the area!! Ive been a member for more than 5 years, it has been one of my best years of my life. The trainers are highly skilled and have the ability to create very challenging but manageable exercises for individuals or large groups. Showing up and accomplishing very intense workouts relives my daily stress.

My company had a party for all the staff and their families July 2019. What a great experience! The event planned, Anthony, was very efficient with emails to finalize the plans. We were able to bring in our own caterer. The McDermont staff were so great the day of. Clint and his team made sure our room was perfect, making adjustments to the table and chairs we rented from them. We had 100 people in the Light Room and we still had room to games, a DJ, and photo booth! I highly recommend you consider this venue for your next group event. There was a wide variety of things to do for all ages!

Had a Birthday party for my son .The staff was so nice and helpful. The host Jose was awesome and made sure we had everything on time and with no problems. The kids had so much fun. We will definitely be be back.

Lift weights and play in the basketball league

I was able to get full access to everything for $15 and the service is good. This is a great place to take your kids and I highly recommend going here if you are in the area. Not a bot 😂

Short drive from Bakersfield and easy to find.We all enjoy to many activities they had to offer. The food is ok but you can find a great place to eat in town.

Its great being able to come here and go to the gym.My kids love being able to run around and play. They also love the jumper when they have them up.

Their laser tag is the best Ive ever been to. The course is massive and they change it often. There are two levels and there is plenty of stuff to hide in or under. Neon and black everywhere with good equipment. The equipment is heavily used but you can tell its good quality. I would drive hours just to go here for laser tag it is that good.Their soccer field, rock climbing, basketball and volleyball areas in my opinion are all well maintained for the size of the area and the prices they charge. I feel safe using all of their equipment and nothing seems neglected or dilapidated.It is true that they do not run climate control much it is cold in the winter but not freezing it feels like they do run some heat. If it is hot in the summer they really need to consider swamp cooling. It is cheap and effective and the technology is must better than it used to be for newer coolers as long as you are cooling fresh exterior air.

Fun for families

A pretty sweet building. Looks like an old packing house converted into all sorts of good stuff. Areas to play basketball, volleyball and soccer. Also an arcade for the little ones and a gym for fitness buffs.

WATER slide didn’t have any water. Advertising everywhere about the WATER slide. Fairly disappointed in that. No food except for front desk candy. Vending machines taking my money. The mist room wasn’t throwing any mist so I was extremely sweaty during my whole experience here. Laser tag was slow and it took awhile for person to come. Website showed that the whole left row of the soccer field was full of bouncy houses, there’s only two. Would not recommend.

They have everything for all ages. My 2 year old had so much fun on the bounce house and inflatable slide. He was fearless.

Came up from Bakersfield to visit McDermont and it was definitely worth the drive. I took four boys ages ranging from 5 to 10 and they all had a blast. The facility is very nice and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The boys enjoyed the wave rider and Lazer tag the most. The rock wall was really cool too. I wish we had checked it out years ago.

Fun, family friendly place. A bit disappointed that they only had 6 laser tag guns working at the time. Fix this.

Very hot inside, I guess they dont use their ac in July. We went for a laser tag special for my grandchildren, it was lasar tag and a beverage and a snack. They were able to do one round of lasar tag, my grandsons lasar stopped working in the middle of a 10 minute round, that they stood in line for over an hour. Snack bar closed. If you want an enjoyable time with your kids dont go here, go to adventure park in visalia, or go on amazon and buy Lazar tag equipment. Any thing but going here.

I think this is a great thing the city has done for the local community. I have seen so many people using and enjoying this facility, from young to old, I was astonished when I seen it. It gives the opportunity to the locals to do so many things they might not normally get the chance to do, without going way out of their way. I think it sets an example for other towns to strive to.Hats off to the City of Lindsay!

Why have a water slide with no water?? Can’t buy food on the weekdays? Only the snack bar food which is only candy. And the drink machine doesn’t give u a gatorade or water but takes your money!On website says stuff fun but when you come here in person boring! Would not recommend!

It was cool/fun for a few hours.Got there and found out their internet was down, so they were unable to accept credit/debit payments -- cash only. We found a soccer field, but had no ball. We asked for a ball and they said they charge $15 for one, but theyll give you back $14 once you return it (or something like that).When you enter: to the left is laser tag and basketball courts. To the right is the arcade, a weight-lifting gym, the surfing thing, bounce houses, and rock climbing. Upstairs is more gym and the soccer field.I tried to get into the gym but they said my blue, all-day wristband pass wasnt valid for that -- I needed some kind of green wristband.

Went there for the first time to spend some time with my little bro and we were not impressed. The arcade sucked, many of the games didnt work, and the customer service there wasnt good at all. The only nice attractions there are the rock climbing and the laser tag but too overpriced.

My grandkids loved all the activities. They climbed the rock, boogie boarded and played laser tag. The only thing that could make it better would be if they would open the ziplining.

For the price you pay I am very disappointed. Bounce houses were not operating but yet you were charged for their use. No AC but had fans that did nothing in building well over 80 degrees. I will definitely not be coming back. Hope you do improvements to this facility

Had a blast with my loved ones. Most of the games worked. Soccer fields we had all to ourselves. Even had a new wiffle ball batting cage so my 4 yr old nephew could even swing and homer.

Lots of fun activities for kids and adults. The arcade needs updating or I would more than likely have given 5 stars.

Love the school program

Much to offer community. Recently participated with a youth conference for 200+ teens. The facility was wonderfully accomodating to a variety if needs. Plenty of room to spread out and hold break out sessions. Warm day and needed fans, which made it hard to hear soeakers. PA system is recommended.

So...they should let peple driving from Fresno know there is no AC. Went for my sons party and about died when I wasnt in the cooling center. Not very clean. Bathrooms need upgrading. Kids loved the surf area and rock climbing, but laser tag only worked on session. Lots of areas with junk lying around. Expensive for what you get.

It is way to hot the AC was not working. Then When we order food they gave us the wrong food and when asked they tried saying we order what we were given. When we showed them the receipt they got mad that they were wrong giving us attitude that they messed up. I would not recommend this place to take your family. Staff are very rude.

Unless youre a kid that gets in for free,really want to go to the gym, or like a very specific type of music that they constantly have concerts for, this place is just expensive and doesnt have much else to do. Entrance costs money and everything after will cost money too. You will be nickel and dimed to use the facility or just to attend a game.

I went for a day and DO NOT GO. First of all they had no Air conditioner everywhere you go your sweating. The only place with air was the gym. The arcade sucked, half of the games was broken down. And there water fountain was so nasty litterly everyone had to buy a water bottle. They may have just made they water taste nasty on purpose. The only fun event was rock climbing but it wasnt even that fun becuase it was so hot. And there pizza is ok it was not that good.

Went to this place hearing great things about it, I read the reviews and gave the place a shot. When we got there the place was SOOOO worn down. It was crazy. The arcade machines steal your money, the who facility is OLD and worn down, like it has not been updated in decades. It was also pretty EXPENSIVE. I admit that the place has potential because it DOES have really cool features, the rock climbing wall, soccer field, water wave thing, gym, a litle eating area,.....but,... when youre there you feel kind of creeped out by the maintenace of the place and I I could think about the whole time was,... wow,.. thats really old,... wow that is pretty worn down,... wow that should probably be replaced,... wow,..that should probably be cleaned one in a while.Seems like money will NOT EVER be invested in it, which is really sad because it can really be a HUGE attraction in the central valley.
