Wow, Martha is a master at what she does. So kind, very professional, and a master at that. Very clean home, she can sew anything. From wedding dresses (thats the service I needed), sewing patches, any clothing, ripped teddy bears, you name it. VERY fair for pricing. She took her time, and theres passion there. I will send everyone I know to see her for anything sewing. She invited my family into her home for my final dress fitting, she steamed everything, she even did my daughters dress hem at a moments notice. Nothing but the nicest things to say about Martha.

Martha is a lifesaver! As someone not overly comfortable to dresses, I made a big mistake in getting the wrong size of dress and ultimately my wedding dress I fell in love with did not fit. After receiving several recommendations for Martha, I contacted her and she quickly was able to work me into her schedule. While I was afraid that I would need to do large alterations that would be costly and time consuming or go purchase another dress, she put my mind at ease. After a few fittings, I was able to pick up my dress that not only fit me well but looks great. Martha goes above and beyond for her clients- she even scrubbed the hem of my preowned dress to brighten the lace up at no extra cost. I will definitely bring all my alteration/seamstress needs to her in the future.

I bought 3 pair of pants for my son online from Old Navy and the lengths were wildly different. I needed 2 pairs shortened. I looked for a business in my neighborhood and came across Marthas Sewing Room. She cut and sewed both pairs to the proper length and the end result was the perfect length and they looked like they came right from the factory. She was very nice, quick and did a great job! Im glad I found Marthas Sewing Room and strongly recommend her for anyone in need of her services.

With all the chaos from lockdown, my daughters wedding was postponed from May 16 to July 24 - 10 days from now. Getting appointments for alterations and other things has been dicey. I contacted Martha four days ago, and visited her that day too. My dress was altered and ready for pickup today!Martha is very caring, and made sure I was happy with my dress before I left. Martha and her family are amazing! I know many of her customers were found through friends, but I found her through Google!I was told by two seamstresses that there was nothing that could be done about my dress and that it would be super expensive; it needed lots of work on short notice. Im standing in a wedding while 30 weeks pregnant and only could have a two week time frame. She, without hesitating, took on the job and the dress looks gorgeous. The cost was far below trade value, and well below what she is worth. I am so grateful to her!

Martha is excellent!! Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she is incredibly kind and genuine. She welcomes you into her home and will work with you to make sure your dress fits PERFECTLY. I had her tailor my wedding dress (bought at Davids Bridal). I have a size 0 upper body and a size 6 lower body, she was able to take my size 6 dress and make it fit amazingly well. It was form-fitted, but I could breathe (I told her I need to be able to dance the night away). She was easy to get a hold of via text, and more than fairly priced. She will be my seamstress for everything from here on out.
