This family is a lifesaver! After buying a six- week nightmare with poorly milled hardwood floor from Floor & Decor, the team at Value came through within two weeks to get a better quality hardwood delivered and installed, finally allowing my family to move into our new home. Purchased a vanity and countertop for my bathroom. Jay was very nice and helpful. The vanity was delivered within a couple of weeks. The countertop was ordered and in stock quickly, but due to a delay on my part wasn’t ready for install. Once the vanity was installed, Manny came out for additional measurements and the countertop and sinks were installed within days. Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend.

I was looking to have about $10k of carpet installed, but I don’t like it when the associates take off their masks or wear them incorrectly. It’s extremely passive aggressive and I look at it as assault. Going to a more professional place instead! Just to reply...these are not HIGH standards these are health standards. I’m a nurse so it’s disappointing to see such disrespect and disregard. God bless you too!

Terrible Service and follow ups take forever! I have been working with this company since February and my kitchen issues are still not resolved. My pull out drawers in my pantry were put in crooked, the cabinet doors are rubbing together. He came out a month ago and said he would put new hinges on it. Still hasnt returned. They carved a hole in my floor board for a heat vent and it does not look professionally done. The trim is already coming off the floor board under the cabinet. One of my drawers is crooked, they came out to fix it and all they did was bang on it, it lasted 3 hours and then became crooked again. They measured all the cabinets out prior, but they had to end up cutting off part of the cabinet cause they didnt line up the cabinets to make sure everything lined up properly. I paid $14,000 for a job that was done very sloppy!! Not to mention, everytime they came out they blamed my kids for the issues Im having. I also had my floors done by them. When my first set of floors were put in they sent a bathroom remodeler to install my floors and when they started bubbling up and coming unlatched he blamed it on the fact that the trim wasnt put on so the floor shifted and that my kids had something to do with it! Come to find out 4 weeks later after going back and forth with them, he came out and looked at it and the floor was flawed! Took 6-8 weeks to get the new floor installed and that time sent out people who knew what they were doing. That said these are the same ones that installed my kitchen! I am very disappointed! This was my dream kitchen, we had to re-do our kitchen due to mice living under the counter-tops. We financed this project and all Im left with is debt and finance charges for a kitchen that was suppose to be done by professionals with 40 years of experience. Does this job look professionally done and worth $14,000?

Overall I would not recommend this company for a kitchen remodel. I got my kitchen remodeled about 2 years ago. Jay was easy to work with and he brought samples to my house which was super convenient. However, his uncle that did the remodel was not as neat with his work. Ive attached pictures of the drawers thst arent properly aligned. In the beginning I figured itll just fix on its own. Honestly I should have approached the company early on. The trimming on the bottom of the cabinet is not professional. The trim has paint stains and is of poor quality. In just two years the grey cabinets have these small stains that just wont go away...Ive used EVERYTHING to clean them and I know it isnt my cooking because those cabinets are no where near the stove. Its just a little disappointing that after spending so much money to remodel a part of your house you see ALL day, there are small flaws. As I use my kitchen everyday i feel the poor quality of the cabinets which wasnt obvious before. I almost never give bad reviews but for such a big job I do think Value floors can work on their professionalism. Their work is not bad, but when youre paying thousands for a job, you want the best. Over the 2 years if theyve improved thats great, but my experience was not the best.

Enjoyed working with Value Floors. We had a bedroom carpeted - the quality of the carpet is excellent, Jay was fast and followed through on exactly what he said he would. The installers showed up on time, installed carpet and agreed to stretch the carpet in a couple of other rooms without so much as a blink, just as Jay said they would (gave them cash as recommended by Jay). The installers cleaned up and I so appreciated them - they were very fast (out of the house in under 2 hours) and my room looks fantastic. Thanks much Value Floors!!! While this job was small, I will definitely use yall again in the future.

Put in a new kitchen floor in 2017 we had a problem. Called in, and in 2 days A couple of guys came out to fix the problem. They were kind and courteous and got the job done.

We are updating my dads place and worked with Jay. He was super to work with! He brought samples and helped us to coordinate both the kitchen floor with the rest of the homes carpeting. Installers for both the laminate and carpet couldnt have been nicer and what a great job. Cleaned up after...nothing for us to do but enjoy the new floors. Thank You!

I was very satisfied with my entire experience with this family owned company! The gentleman at the store were genuine and helpful, Jay helped me to pick the perfect flooring and Ron and Mike who did the install are knowledgeable, efficient and respectful of my home. If I could give less than 1 star I would.Early August we had Jay come out to measure and give an estimate for a 50 square foot bathroom floor. Price was around $2100 but my wife loved the tile so we agreed. (Thats $40/square foot!) Had to give 50% up front. When he left, without asking, he put a sign in our front yard.On 8/12: Dale & Frank (installers) came out and took up the old floor and put down underlayment.8/11: Frank put down new tile but didnt use spacers even though I asked. He said he never used them. Result: uneven seam lines.8/12: Frank was scheduled to arrive at 7 AM to grout the tile. He got here at 8:30. He reinstalled the toilet, which was removed for tiling the floor, and put it on crooked. I fixed it myself. Our bathroom has 2 doors: 1 pocket door to the master bedroom and 1 regular door to the hallway, which was newly carpeted. No threshold piece was installed leading to the bedroom and the piece to the hall was slanted at a steep angle. Jay called and said Dale forgot to get the 2nd half of payment and would come back for it, which he did.8/13: I called Value Floor (VF) but Jay was out. Whoever I spoke with said hed give Dale the message. Dale came out and put a threshold on the bedroom doorway but needed a shim for the hallway. He wanted to come back next day but we were going to be out. So, I called VF (again no Jay) and left a message to reschedule. Didnt hear back so I called again (no Jay) and they told me Dale would call.8/18: Dale scheduled 8/19 between 2:30 and 3.8/19: Dale & another guy came at 3:00. For some reason, Dale took up the threshold to the bedroom and broke a tile. I gave him an extra tile (we had a whole extra box) and he replaced the broken one, leaving the pocket door open. He told us to stay away from the replaced tile for 24 hrs., which we did. Dale had also installed 2 threshold pieces. Next day when we tried to close the pocket door to the bedroom, the door bottom wouldnt clear the threshold and so wouldnt close. You think Dale would have checked that.8/21: Called VF but no Jay. The guy who answered was a piece of work! When I told him about the pocket door he said why didnt you say something when he was there? I told him we were instructed to stay away for 24 hrs. because a tile was replaced. He wanted me to call Dale but I said I didnt have his number and anyway, for $2100, I felt VF should handle it. He said he was going to call Dale.8/22: We have heard nothing.8/28: Dale called to schedule tomorrow.8/29: Dale came out, lightly tapped the threshold nails, tried to close the pocket door but couldnt. He told us there was nothing he could do and that hed call Jay to arrange for a carpenter.9/5: Having heard nothing, I called Jay and asked if he heard from Dale. He said hed call Dale and get back to me.9/7 - 9/12: No call from Jay.9/14: I called VF and left a message.9/16: No response to previous call. I called and left another message.9/19: Got ahold of Jay who told me that he could send a carpenter but I would have to pay for it. I said it was HIS guy who installed the thing and he would need to pay for a carpenter. Jay said hed call Dale and get back to me.9/20 - present (10/2): Still no call from Jay or anyone else at VF.MORAL: dont go there. Theyll screw you over and leave you hanging. Dont give them the 2nd half of your payment until everything is done to your satisfaction. More importantly, dont believe the rave reviews you might see for VF. WE did and look what it got us.

Great people to do business with!We came to Value Floors because of the earlier reviews we had seen. Jay helped us with our selection and showed us products that would fit our need. We were never pushed into a particular direction and just provided the best options.Jay came to our house within a few days of our visit to the store. He brought color samples and took measurements of the house to provide us a quote.We agreed on a cost that night and he ordered the carpet the next day.Installation happened about 2 weeks later once the carpet came in to their store. The installers were neat, friendly, and extremely hard working. They installed 2200sf of carpet in just once day. We had to clear items from the floor (lamps, electronics, etc) and they moved everything else (furniture).This was one of the best experiences we have had while trying to slowing upgrade our home.

Terrible install. No customer service. Very dismissive and would never ever recommend these people. Really wish I could post a picture of what they did after paying $7k for flooring and got ripped off. Crooks! Stay away.

We started out wanting white flooring for our basement..however it was difficult finding a solid white. Value Floors & Cabinet was flexible and allowed us to select a different flooring (totally opposite of what we originally wanted). We were very pleased with the whole process of recarpeting our entire house. Jay was great to work with, and the team that came to put the new carpet in did a great job. They moved the furniture, took out the old carpeting, and put in the new carpeting very efficiently. I would definitely recommend Value Floors if you’re looking to have new carpet installed.

Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. He took all of our measurements that we had and figured out our pricing. Was told $2500 for cabinets and counter installed and $1000 for the flooring we picked out. Jay came out to do measurements to make sure what we were ordering was correct and then said that the owner quoted the price wrong and it was now about $5000. No measurements or items had changed. It was a HUGE waste of my time!! I would recommend everyone get their quotes all in writing before walking out the door. I like to go with family owned businesses before the big guys, but our experience is why people dont go with the little guys anymore.

Theres a reason why Value Floors & Cabinets is poorly rated on every review site - their customer service is horrendous. Im a professional rehabber specializing in kitchen and bath remodels and went in yesterday to request a quote for 2 kitchens and 1 hardwood floor addition. I was refused a written quote by the owners son because, to be honest, if I give you a written quote youre just going to shop it around to all the other places like youve been doing this whole time.He clearly had me mistaken with someone else (Ive never received a quote from him in the past), but even if I WAS that person, he shouldnt have talked to me that way. I explained that he had me mistaken for someone else and he continued to accuse me, saying, I remember you, youve been here many times and thats what you do. I havent and I dont. I came in once when I first found them to introduce myself and establish a business relationship (I shared my contact info, checked out the styles and quality of cabinets offered and obtained details on rough timing and cost to share with my clients) and once to purchase a filler piece from the owner (this mans father) who was so kind and helpful. I hadnt had any remodeling projects after that first meeting, so even if I wanted to check out multiple suppliers, I couldnt. And why would that be a bad thing anyway? I always get 3 quotes from subcontractors when Im in need of a new trade service. Its good business sense and benefits my clients to insure theyre getting a fair price.After a few minutes of laying out the facts to prove that I wasnt the scheming person he thought I was, he did apologize (to his credit) and his coworker admitted that they dont give written quotes to anyone for this reason (shady!), but the damage was done.I have never been so insulted in my professional life. I thanked him for his time and explained that I couldnt do business with him in good faith after being treated so horribly during our first transaction. He told me that it wasnt a loss to him because they probably didnt have what I was looking for anyway (they did, we had JUST determined that they had the style and price range I was looking for). I was so pleased to have finally found a local shop to partner with as my go-to cabinet supplier, but Ill have to keep looking.How terribly short-sighted of this company to treat their contractor clients this way. I can only IMAGINE how horribly they must treat homeowners making one-time purchases. Ive already advised my business partners and clients not to patronize this business. Please dont make the same mistake I did, read and heed the reviews. Your nerves will thank you!UPDATE: Theres a difference between a receipt and an estimate. Its industry standard for kitchen designers to issue their clients a layout, 3D renderings and a material list with estimate that they can take home and use to confirm their measurements and budget. Asking for a receipt for items I didnt pay for is fraudulent, asking for an estimate is normal business practice (and scribbles on a piece of scrap paper followed by, if you want an estimate you can write it down yourself doesnt count).
