Weve worked with a number of flooring companies and Floor Coverings International was a significantly more professional operation than any others weve worked with. The communication, professionalism, and quality of work was outstanding and we are thrilled with our Armstrong Alterna flooring. We have a radiant floor heating system connected to our boiler and it was difficult to find a product that would work with our heating and ensure stability in the age of our home. The floors are beautiful and so warm, much better than our previous porcelain flooring. Were so happy we found Floor Coverings International who introduced us to this product. I would recommend them time and time again!

We had our our upstairs hallway carpeting removed and hardwood installed. The flooring is scratch resistant, which is needed since we have 2 dogs. We also had the capeting removed from our stairs and the treads were refinished. We also had a new hand rail installed. Chris and his team were professional, meticulous in their work and very attentive to our needs and requests. Chris also followed up a couple of weeks after project completion to ensure all was well and whether we had any issues/concerns. We are very happy with the work and would use them again for future work.

Had a great experience with them. It was a smaller job, just carpeting a basement staircase. Chris and Jeremy came out to measure and present within a day or so. Good price and quality was installed less then a week latter. Looks and feels great.

Floor Coverings International Chicago Northshore does phenomenal work. I recently just moved into a two story condo and wanted to get my downstairs flooring replaced. The downstairs hallway had ceramic tile and the bedroom had old carpet tile. I wanted to replace the ceramic tile with hardwood and install new carpet in the bedroom. This company was recommended to me and I’m so glad I called them. Chris spent a lot of time at my condo precisely measuring my floors and brought a TON of samples for me to choose from! Chris is very knowledgeable about flooring and showed me different options within my budget. He was very patient and professional and helped me pick out gorgeous hickory hardwood for my hallway and beautiful white carpet for my bedroom. Once materials were ordered, they were installed shortly after. Installation only took a few days and Chris checked in with me every day to give me updates about my floors and how the process was going. Extremely professional and easy to communicate with. My floors were installed flawlessly and I’m so happy with the results. I would highly recommend Chris and his team. I can’t wait to use them again when I install my upstairs floors!

Definitely recommend! After getting a few quotes we ultimately went with Chris because he was very professional, easy to communicate with, and always responded promptly to questions we had. Chris also worked within our budget and found us luxury vinyl planks that were good quality but more in our price range. Installation was flawless and turned out beautifully. He is extremely knowledgeable about flooring, does not apply pressured selling techniques, is patient and thorough. I had carpeting installed in October by Floor Coverings Intnl. I cannot say enough good things about this company. From our initial appointment in August till Installation, Chris Pirotte, his Inside Person and his two Installerswere outstanding. They completed installation in a Large Bedroom, Large Loft and 14 Stairs in under four hours . They deserve a 5 Star Rating.

Chris was great! We had a family room that we wanted a large area rug for but did not want to spend $$$ as we have small children and know it will get food and drinks spilt on it. Chris recommended getting carpet cut and bound to the desired size. The carpet is amazing, so soft and cleans great. Weve already had several spills and they clean up so easily. We will be having them back out again for our livingroom and diningroom area rugs. I wish wed of used them for the other carpet in our house.
