The girl at the front desk was kinda useless when I asked her questions about getting a membership and how much it would be for the year. She was being odd to me when I said I wanted to just go swim. And Im trying to loss weight and it felt like the kids for life guards gave you judging looks. Im kinda to nervous to go back. And the reviews are not helping.

The pool is never available for general use. They are extremley restrictive about it. I would suggest going somewhere else.

Its not bad i like the place it can be for little kids and adults really good place i hope you guys give it a good review its just they dont let me swim

Got kicked out of the pool for a bunch of seniors who were not even using the absolutely tiny piece I needed. This is insulting.

Dont you dare kick me out of the pool when old people swim. I pay more than them.

Pretty nice place, I mean considering everything I love this place it’s a small easy building to get around but just enough space for a gym and a pool and also a weight room . I’d change the prices a bit but other than that I love it here .

Pool hours are extremely restrictive. Afternoon need to be open to ALL.

If you need a pool this isnt the place. Its seniors and small children only.

Very good place to work out and big pool. I wish they have some tables with chairs for patents who are waiting for their children.

Been coming here my entire life but today I was treated very poorly by the manager. I believe she thought I was lying to her about being the guardian to my special needs sister.I asked if we could get a pass for the day since the paperwork in the system apparently was not up to date but she refused and we had to leave.I have used passes for many friends who are not special needs. This has got me rethinking my decision on my gym.Luckily we went home and got the paperwork....the manager I talked with earlier had gone home and we had no problem getting in!!!Maybe they should reconsider how they treat ALL people.

Very outdated facility and there appears to no attempt to update. People seem nice, but the gym area is prehistoric.

It was little, it could have been a little more quality wise but besides that it was a great expiriance .

I visited the pool to do my off-season triathlon training. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful when I asked where the pool was located. The lap pool was clean and water warm and clear. Overall, nice pool. Might not be the most up to date facility, but the pool is in good shape.

I love everything about his small Y. The employees make you feel safe and at home and apart of their family.

It’s a little smaller and a tad outdated but it has everything you need and the staff is great!

The staff at this location is excellent and friendly, unfortunately every other Y in the city has better facilities and is handicap accessible. I understand the northeast section of town is generally an afterthought in just about every regard but the membership cost is the same so it stands to reason the accommodations would be similar, which they are not and havent been for several years.

The northeast YMCA is my home away from home. This is not your massive gym where you are just another face in the crowd. At northeast, you become part of the family. Its a place you want to go to and has everything you need for a great workout.

I like to go here because it’s so close to home but that’s pretty much the only reason. It is too small for the amount of people that go here during the busy times. I think I’d enjoy it more if it was a larger size.

If you want all the amenities of the big name but like the small town gym feel; the Northeast Y is your place. Never to crowded, and super helpful staff always.

Nice enough place but certainly not the nicest Y in Lincoln. Really shows how much updates it needs when. You visit any of the newer ones. Weights area is extremely cramped. You essentially need to walk around the outside of the whole facility to get in/out of your row.Otherwise its exactly what you expect from a Ymca

I usually use Fallbrook Y which is fantastic but I used this one on 70th st today and the font desk staff are the worst! Nick who was at the front desk was looking at us and counting us and asked is everybody here? I think this is inappropriate! I will never use this in future after this experience and it is not convenient either!

I have been going to this Y for three years now. It is the best place to workout, be fit, build relationships with other members and have fun. The people who work there are dedicated and honestly care about your success. The atmosphere and spirit of personal growth and community spirit make it the best place to be to train for a marathon, dance away stress in Zumba or to reach any level of fitness goal.

So far Ive been pleasantly surprised here. Its an older building and facilities. Its got that older swampy locker room smell..oh well... The only fussing I have heard is from the teenagers and young adults who do not wish to adhere to the published rules and regs.

Staff was friendly enough but the workout area and equipment is sub par at best. It doesnt compare to the more modern facilities and lacks the classic gym feeling.

Always, always, always lock your stuff in the locker. I just recently had my phone stolen in a matter of a 30 minute swim in the pool. No cameras to check on anything

Nice place to go, terrible place to be employed. All around terrible management. Very suprised they can still operate.

In much need of new work out equipment. Things are constanly breaking and take while to fix. Staff is great though.

Smaller, older Y, but reminds me of the gyms I grew up in. Staff is great and equipment is sufficient. Little to no wait for equipment over the lunch hour.

I must say as a resident of the city of Lincoln, This YMCA is horrible. Out of the 4 YMCA in Lincoln, this would rank 3rd because the Downtown YMCA is even worse but this one isnt good at all. Very Small and really the best way to describe it is old. Old basketball gym, Old weight room which is extremely unimpressive. Pool isnt appealing one bit. Staff was nice to me the few times Ive been there but because of the horrible quality and equipment, I would definitely never recommend it.

Old, small YMCA. Weights and cardio are in the basement and they limit treadmill use to 30 minutes. They have done what they can with the building but it is nothing like the newer locations.
