Very nice campground. Bathrooms were very clean. Office staff was very friendly. Lots of fun stuff for kids to do. Has a seasonal pool. Has lots of fun games by office. Big chess board on the ground, checkers, dominos, ping pong table, and big connect 4. Close to freeway but wasnt loud at night. Has water slide that is seasonal. Also has a dog area. Has an indoor jacuzzi that the temp was like bath water but nice.

We just happened to find this campground online when coming into town for the Garth concert. They had one spot open and were able to fit us in. We were so thankful they did! What a pleasant surprise when we got there. The campground is so clean and friendly, so many neat things for kids to do. We were right by the pool which was super convenient for us parents! You are right off the interstate, but from our spot, noise wasnt a problem. The bathrooms/showers were super clean! I would definitely camp here again!! If we would have stayed longer and gotten to enjoy more of what the campground offers Im sure it would have gotten 5 stars.

We stayed here one night as we were passing through town, but what a nice place! Plenty of activities by the office for the kids to get their wiggles out. We ordered pizza from the office and they cooked it and delivered it to our RV. Campground is clean and staff was friendly! Would definitely stay again!

Such a cute park! The woman that checked us in was so friendly, and our site was a nice big, level pull through. It was very quiet, yet conveniently right off off the highway. The bathrooms and showers were EXCEPTIONALLY clean! We will absolutely stay here again when we pass back through.

The bathrooms aren’t fancy but they were clean.

This was our second time staying in and its amazing. The staff are amazing, friendly, and fun. Our site was clean and well manicured. Other empty sites were clean as well. You can tell everyone from the staff to the owners take pride in every detail of this campground. We will be coming back for sure every time we come through Lincoln. We cant say enough about this place.

What a wonderful place to stay!! My son and I stayed for 7 days over memorial day weekend. They had a barrel train every night that my son loved, a jump area, a decent size pool, laundry area, playground, and great store! Many things are inside the store, everything from RV help to everyday living. I came in town the first night after 1030pm and they called me checking in around 830pm making sure I was doing okay, left my information outside their office on a magnet board, and were kind staff and so helpful the next day.Wash and dryer are a little on the pricey side but do a good job. My campsite was a 30amp, water, plus sewer. Obviously the weekend was busy, but it was hard to tell anyone was near because of the space in between each spot. Large dog park which was perfect for my two dogs because they need to run around and it was a safe place to do that, doggie bags provided throughout the park, including small dog park.Youre right off the highway, days are noisy but nights arent as loud which is nice. Great park! Cant wait to go again!

We just visited this park for the first time. What a GREAT place to stay; peaceful, tidy, comfortable. The people who work at the park are friendly, welcoming, and work hard to make it a nice place. There is lots to do for kids, including a cool little “train” with individual cars that pulls kids around the park - FUN !! Nice dog park on site. And, convenient to get to downtown. This is one of the nicer parks we’ve stayed at. We’ll be back anytime we’re in the area.

I’m wary of hotels for many reasons (all related to sanitation and hygiene), so I prefer to camp, and I booked this site on a drive through Lincoln. I am writing this during my first night ever at this campground, and I’m already so impressed! I won’t mention names, but some of the other campgrounds I’ve been to left me second-guessing my preference to camp. This place has reversed that hesitancy. The grounds are beautifully cared for, and the staff is considerate and polite. They even called to make sure I was on my way when I was running late. The other campers follow the rules too: children stopped running around at the stroke of 10, none of the RVs had loud generators roaring, and if there’s music anywhere, it’s quiet enough not to reach my site. The bathrooms are also tidy and hygienic. The delightful aroma of campfire smoke is an added perk! This is an urban campground, however, so thin-walled campers and tents may not insulate the highway traffic surrounding this oasis, but I can’t knock off a star for that because anyone with a shred of logical thinking skills would deduce this just by looking at a map.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Camp A Way and we will continue to come here because we love this place! The property is quiet even though it’s next to a road. You seriously don’t even notice it. The grounds are beautiful and every year they improve their sites and property. They even have an option with a couple deluxe sites that have a fun comfortable reading swinging chair and 4 chair table and a grill that I would highly recommend. The location is close to The University of Lincoln which makes it a prime location to visit our son. You can tell the owners love this place and they are so easy to work with. Any time we’ve had a request for anything, they were extremely accommodating. They even had adorable activities for the kids over Easter. The people that come here have all been very friendly. If you’re looking for a place to stay for a couple days, we would highly suggest this place as it’s worth your time to come and visit if you’re crossing the country or just need somewhere fun to stay.

Love this campground...spacious, beautiful trees, well-kept, and many cool squirrels to watch (see on top of tire in photo). We got a kick out of them dropping pieces of walnut casing on our rv, and them causing walnuts to fall loudly on our rv. Looks like fun activities for the kiddies too!

Medium sized park set at the intersection of 2 major highways, so always moderate highway noise. Average sized sites set in a grove of large trees there is frequent debris dropping from the trees, probably encouraged by the many squirrels. Up to date bathhouse, and a pool, playground, etc., to keep the kids occupied.

Excellent place for an overnight stop, right off I-80. Great family RV park...lots of activities for kids, great dog park. The pool & spa were closed due to COVID. The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. They could not have been more helpful...moved us to a more level pull-through site at our request. Even though it was right off two freeways, the noise was minimal. We paid $45 with Good Sam/AAA discount. Very reasonable...would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

I seriously don’t know where to begin with this place. As my husband put it…best vacation ever. It’s beautiful with lots of shade. It’s the perfect place to walk as well as bike. Our 4 kids were thoroughly entertained the entire time. And we have a wide age range but there is still something for everyone. The youngest (3) enjoyed the train ride the most. We enjoyed Gary, who ran the ride nightly. He and our 3 year old just clicked. Gary’s wife, Michele, also works there and our entire family love the “Hey” ride with them each Saturday night. We really enjoyed getting to know them!! Our older boys (12 and 9) loved ping pong, the water slide and the water balloon wars! Super fun!! The entire family had fun at the pool. We were booked for a week through a Friday and extended our stay till Sunday because we just couldn’t leave. So many of the families we met were full time RVers and everyone was so friendly and nice. They have a well stocked store and the kids got yummy ice cream and slushies. What amazing stay. Thank you Camp A Way! We will be back!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. This camp place has everything you need. I love that their Covid measures were perfect, you make an appointment for the spa and jacuzzi and the place is beautiful. So much to do and lots of greenery. My favorite things here were the beautiful clean pool, and how much grass they had everywhere for my dog. There are flowers everywhere here and I am really impressed. So kid friendly too, tons of activities and even a little bouncy house. I was shocked at everything it included for such a cheap price. If you go to church there’s one right across the street. Big dog parks, friendly people, and if you forgot anything the gift shop has everything you could possibly need for super cheap too. I ended up getting some t shirts and a mug for college. I only stayed here one night because I’m driving up to school but I would def visit here again if I was ever in Nebraska

Some of those activities cost extra but they are very reasonably priced. The facilities were very clean. They offered restrooms with showers and a laundry room. There is a camp site where people can set up tents if they didnt have a camper. They have a stocked welcome center with items that you might have forgotten at home; ice, firewood, snacks. We have stayed here numerous times while passing through. Positives are the grounds are well kept and camp is clean. WIFI worked well and easy on and off Highway. Its set up for families and kids which I get but I wish campers would get more rules of RV Parks etiquette when checking in. What I mean by this is the fact that kids as well as adults continually walk through occupied sites, kids riding their bikes as well as the camps three wheel bikes through occupied sites as well as doing burnouts in site gravel where truck was parked. Adult campers were just as guilty as the kids in respect to walking through occupied sites. I have kids who have been RVing a while now and they know this is unwanted behavior.
