Theres a reason Norms has such high reviews... They are simple the best and most trusted car shop around... Theyre honest and not pushy, will tell you when they think certain things may need to be replaced. Can give you a ride while your car is in the shop. I even call to get advice when buying a new car and are very helpful. In short, theyre honest a very trustworthy, which goes a long way in the industry.

I cannot say enough about how great of a team Norm’s is. They care about their customers and take the time to explain the situation to you, and what they feel is the most affordable and best fix. They have helped tremendously in fixing an ongoing issue with my car caused by a different company and I couldn’t be more thankful for Norm’s!! I will NEVER take my vehicle any where else again. I had a blown head gasket on my 95 mustang. I brought high quality parts to be put on during replacement and told them to buy anything else they needed. I get the car back and they forgot to tighten smog crossover tube bolts, so the car sounds like trash. I give them the benefit of the doubt and leave it. 8 months later I run into heating issues and test for blown head gasket. Sure enough, its blown. Bring car in and they test it. I get a call that they cant warranty it since I brought own parts. Didnt mention anything about that when they did it the first time. Charged double what labor should be for head gaskets as well: $1600! Slimy business practice. Stay far away from this place

I am from out of state was in Lincoln moving my son and family when the water pump went out on my traverse. We called Norm’s and they advised us of a towing company they work with and they would tow it to Norm’s and we would only get one bill. Norm’s called me the middle of the week with the problem and an estimate of the cost and asked if I wanted them to fix it. They replaced the water pump and called me the next day to tell me it was fixed and ready to be picked up. I picked it up the next day and the cost was less than the estimate. I would highly recommend Norm’s for their professionalism and courtesy.

I’m beyond happy that my Husband and I found Norms. We have had a ton of problems with my husbands Jeep and normal issues with my car that has almost 280k miles. They always go above and beyond to check everything. Many places will replace unneeded things and charge a bunch for it. Norms makes sure to give us a heads up with what actually needs replaced and is the most reasonably priced by far.They have saved us so much money and helped us out when my husbands Jeep was in the shop (what seemed like) every other week. Helped me get some air in my tire when all the air lines were frozen so I bought a tank of gas from them. Full service gas fill and it seemed like good gas too. Friendly staff with also some advice about why my tire keeps needing refilled every week or so

Every single time Ive brought my car here, they do shotty work and it reflects. Went in for a simple headlight change and they did not screw the fender back on so it was destroyed on top of damage to the wheel. Additionally, they were too cheap to put in a new oil filter during an oil change so now my car is having engine problems. Never going back and letting everyone in Lincoln know to avoid at all literal costs.

I have been taking my vehicle to Norms for years and they are one of the best in town. I recently had them extract a broken exhaust manifold stud from my BMW M3 that others said they couldnt do unless the entire head was pulled. Saved me at least $6500! Customer for life.

Great and very honest mechanics. I had a sensor repaired at NORMS and my car was back to running great until the following day when my check engine light came back on and my car started running really rough. They took it back and told me it was probably unrelated to their repair and they would diagnose it for me. They called me back later in the day and said that they found a vacuum leak in the vicinity of the sensor they repaired and that they wanted to give me the benefit of the doubt and werent going to charge me anything for looking at it or fixing the leak. Went to pick up my car, they handed me my keys, and it runs great!

I love Norms. They always take such great care of me and my vehicles, going WAY beyond the normal line of service to make sure they figured out what was going wrong with my vehicle, and making sure it was completely safe for me to drive, and then explaining everything both technically and in a way I could clearly understand. I have never felt overcharged. Would recommend them to anyone in Lincoln or surrounding areas.

Had a power steering fluid pump put in 9 months later it went out they did not honor the 1 year warranty on parts and labor charged me the same price all over again, should have took them to small claims court but I just bit the bullet and never went back.

The best real Service Station in town. Theyll pump your gas, fill your tires, and check your oil if you ask. If you need minor or even major repairs, a new battery, or have a flat, you want to be at Noms, and not some goofy convenience store that sells pizza.

Norm’s is so great! We live nearby and twice I have had issues with my car; I’ve just dropped it off overnight at Norm’s and the next day they’ve got it all fixed up and ready to go. Their location is convenient in the center of town. Staff is professional and on top of things. Norm’s will be my new go-to place!

I have been going to Norms for the last 12 or so years, both with business vans and my own personal vehicle. I wont go anywhere else. They are reliable and trustworthy and wont fix things that dont need to be fixed. I have always been treated with respect and when Ian tells me something is so, its so. I have overheard more conversations than I can count where they were telling someone how to fix their car (easy fixes ) to save them the expense of bringing their car in. They have a heart for people as well as being knowledgeable with vehicles. Know any females that need someone honest? Norms is the place to go!

Awesome experience dealing with the guys at Norms Car Care, left my car with them. They changed out my water pump, thermostat, and an oil change. These guys have been our familys go-to car care folks for forty years. Ive been away for more than twenty of them, and just returned to Lincoln. We had our 2004 Toyota Sienna (230,000 miles) serviced -- muffler, wipers, oil change, all fluids, upgrade antifreeze, etc.. Services for which they could have charged half-again as much. Instead they charged an utterly reasonable price. We will bring our cars to them again and again. And they were fun, whats more.

I really wanted to like this place. It seemed like a cute local place that might treat me fair, a place that I could make my regular mechanic since I havent been living in Lincoln for too long.Ill start with the good. They were always extremely polite and informative, I think I talked to Ian on the phone the most and he seemed really nice. When my dad came to tow away my car they were extremely nice and helpful for him, too. And they gave another lady that was waiting at the same time as me a ride home since she was getting her car worked on, that was nice.On to the bad. So Im not sure if a new guy looked at my car or what happened, but I took my hunk of junk 2001 Sonata there about two weeks ago after it wouldnt start on me. Bad battery or alternator, something. I took it to Auto Zone first to get a free checkup so they could tell me what they thought was wrong with it so I would have a starting point, then I took it to Norms. I took my car to Norms of all places because it was the closest thing to me with good reviews and still open after 5, after I got off work.I got my car there about an hour and a half before they closed at 7 and didnt expect them to get to it that night by any means, they looked really busy - which at the time I considered a good thing thinking if the place is busy they must be as good as the reviews say, right? I called during the afternoon the next day to check up on it since I hadnt heard anything yet and I was told they were going to try to get to it that evening and if not I would for sure be the top priority first thing in the morning. So I called again the next afternoon and they said they still hadnt gotten to it, hopefully they would by the end of the day. I was a little annoyed by this because I was explicitly told that I was the top priority for that morning and it still hadnt even been glanced at. A simple problem was taking more than 2 days to even look at.Eventually they called me back at 5:30, 48 hours after I dropped off my piece of crap car, to tell me they havent done anything but theyre going to guess its going to take $800 to fix it after taxes and labor. They said the battery was shot, so was the alternator, and the brake lights wouldnt turn off. I told them Id call them back, talk to my dad who is an engineer and is usually the man to work on my car when I can get it to him even though hes more than 2 hours away.The car is barely worth $800, so my dad took an afternoon off work and spent at least 6 hours of his day driving down to Lincoln, renting towing equipment, and then towing my car back home to see what he could do.Now the thing that really upsets me - my dad ended up fixing my car for $15. FIFTEEN DOLLARS. After Norms quoted me $800. My dad saw that the battery WAS shot, but it was still under warranty - which it clearly stated on the battery. The alternator wasnt broken at all, and everybody I talked to (2 mechanics, my father the engineer, and a few other friends) said I was over quoted about $100 on the alternator parts anyways. The $15 my dad spent was for the wiring issue with my brake lights. That was it.As polite and kind as my customer service experience was, its definitely not worth being over quoted almost $800.

I took my car to a popular shop in lincoln. They told me nothing except an alignment was needed. That didnt fix it so i took it to Norms car care they fixed me right up and my car handles great now. They gave it a 4 wheel alignment, replaced a tie rod, replaced the stabilizer bars and said i needed a control arm and ball joint and knuckle for the back and new tires since mine were cupping. Hardly nothing wrong as the other shop had stated. Thanks Norms

I am from out of town with my wife and mom. I get in my van... It would not start. I called on the phone and told them the symptoms. They guessed I had battery cables that were loose. Side post battery connection, battery unable to reach without taking things apart, and I didnt have a tool box. It was Saturday morning, I had no appointment, I was dressed in a suit and tie, they said to bring it over and they would double-check it for me. Within 15 minutes they had access to the battery, they tightened the bolts, put it back together for me. And I made it to my event just on time. Thanks guys

Norms was great in working around my schedule to allow me to bring my vehicle in on MY time frame and allow me to wait while they did the oil change and inspection. I don’t write a lot of reviews but I am so thankful for the folks at Norm’s that I decided to share. A few months ago, I took my Mazda in because for months it was dying randomly multiple times while driving and after paying 2-3 other auto shops to try and fix it with no luck, I took it to Norms. First of all, as a young woman who doesn’t know much about vehicles, I’ve delt with a lot of repairman who haven’t always been the nicest. Everyone at Norm’s was patient and kind through the entire process. They managed to be the only ones to be able to fix the problem and months later, it hasn’t died since. They even checked in afterwards to make sure all was doing well. Recommend them to everyone in Lincoln and will be happy to take my business to them whenever I need a repair.

Worst experience ever. Overcharged on every services PERFORMED. Called about picking up my car at 10:00 am. They arrived at 6:00 pm. They kept my car for two whole days and all it was for was a battery installation and oil change.Was charged $116 for the new battery and another $42 to install it! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Grand total was $263! STAY AWAY. Especially if youre a girl and dont know better!
