En route to NJ and our car died. Tony made sure that we are in and out, even though they were busy. We waited at Hyvee and Tony had a staff member pick us up. Fantastic and excellent service!! Highly recommend this place.

Dont go to break plus. You can setup appointment at a certain time and you wont get your car look at about an hour or two. If we can get in with time we supposed to whats the point of setting up appointments bad business 😡

I took my truck so that they could put new lights on it. Unfortunately they did not do their job well and they charged me too much, since they did not make the lights work and I spent my money and my time of 2 days for nothing. I will not return to that place again because they are not professional in the field of electrical service and I would honestly not recommend them to anyone.

Employees are very friendly both when we called to tell them the problem with our air conditioning, and after the job was done. Tony thoroughly explained the problem and what they did to fix it. We have gone to Brakes Plus before, and will continue to go whenever we have a problem because we trust them, know that they will thoroughly research the problem, and get it fixed right. They are also reasonably priced. I would recommend anyone to go there for honest and friendly service!

Fixed brakes, explained what was wrong. Courteous staff. Had a 1 pm appt. Took much longer to get to my car than what they told me. Long wait.

Tony is such a personable man. He is easy to talk to and is always going the extra mile to make his customers feel welcomed and appreciated. He is kind and willing to work with anyone who walks through the door!

The service there is always friendly and prompt. Tony and Kyle are awesome and easy to work with. I even get assistance in between oil changes if something is wrong and they can help fix it. Its not free all of the time, but I think its fair. Its not $100 for my oil change and tire rotation so I am a satisfied customer and will continue to go to them for as many car needs as possible.

Bill is super friendly and fun. I’ve been there for previous oil changes and never disappointed. Done within a timely manor and great people, always kind and willing to help you with any questions!

This review is long overdue! I have had Brakes Plus work on my car a few times. Over the last 6ish months my car decided to start having engine/fuel pump/brake issues. After getting screwed over by the dealership, I finally went to Brakes Plus as a last ditch attempt at getting my car functional. The guys who took care of my car did an amazing job and were so honest about what needed to be done and I could not be more appreciative of them. I will definitely continue going to them anytime I need repair work/maintenance on my car. As someone who knows little to nothing about cars, I know I will always been in good hands with the mechanics here.

Dont do it. I was quoted 1 hour and it took over 4 hours. They also tried to upsell me on rear brakes. They didnt know this, but I just got new rear breaks a few weeks ago so they were clearly trying to sell me something that I didnt need. While I was waiting for 4 hours in the lobby, I also heard them try and upsell two other customers on things they didnt need like brand new shocks on a 3 year old Toyota SUV. Unreal and I will not be back. Dont do it or be ready to be upsold.

Thought I needed A/C recharge and they helped diagnose it was a filter that needed replacing. Saved me a lot of money and now Im not melting in my car.

Wasted 2 hours waiting for an estimate for just pads. I said just pads like 3 times to them. They said pads rotors and 2 new calipers. That was them just inflating price. After they refused to do just the pads like I had asked, I took it to another shop. The other shop said nothing wrong with rotors and calipers, fixed in the time I wasted waiting for these con artist to give their fleece price. AVOID BREAKS PLUS

Been there twice in 3 months. Was frustrated when I went in that something was wrong with my car again, but the service was great and they took me out to my car to show me and explain what was happening. Great customer service. Also, they always try to give you the lowest price possible and are very honest.

I have a 2001 7.3 excursion that I took into have the brakes done abs module and rotors and pads. The Abs module still Dosent work. That aside after I picked it up the brakes were getting so hot that it turned the wheel red. I called in Dustin told me to bring it back in. I told him I’m not driving it. He told me I would have to pay for a tow truck. So I took it to wilhelm auto motive and Stacy was great at wilhelm got me going the right way. My kids ride in this and the teens they have working at brakes plus do not instill confidence. We have a fleet of 18 cars for my business I would never risk my employees with brake plus workmanship. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen I hope people will find these words helpful. I am trying to keep anyone from dying!!!

The guys were friendly enough checked the problem out. Said it was a flywheel sencor that was drairng the battery and $$200?or so to fix. Talked to my mechanic and he said he didnt think that that was right. So Im pretty leary at this point.

They did a brake job and front end work for what the estimate of $1200 was but the emergency brake wasnt working. They take the car apart and tell me it will be another $300 for the emergency brake. What? I argued that the emergency brake should have been part of the original estimate. They refused to cover this emergency brake repair for no cost.

I had scheduled an appointment to do alignment on my car a week ahead and when the day came I got a call from Brakes Plus asking to reschedule my appointment to next day just one hour before my appointment which was too late because I had already taken time off my work just to do that. Anyways I went to the office as they asked the following day to do the aliment on my car because it drove off road to the right side. Got a call from Brakes Plus saying they fixed it and good to go. Paid money and left and not even half of mile noticed the getting off road to the right was even worse than before went back to tell them. The employee took the key and waited there for about another 45 minutes. The car was still going of the road to the right. When I asked why the employee said he didn’t why! I was so unhappy with the service they provided. Alignment is your main job and you guys should have at least told me the diagnostics if you’re not able to fix it. THEY STILL CHARGED ME. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

This is a great place to get any work on your vehicle done at a great price. The service guys are great and very competent.

We were on a cross country trip and felt some shaking in my brakes. It was 2 hours until closing but Brakes Plus was able to fit us in and get us back on the road. Matt was really helpful and walked me out to my car to show me what the issue was. He even offered us leftover pizza! An overall great experience.

I went to Brakes Plus on 48th street in Lincoln, had an issue with my steering wheel shaking when Id press on the brake and they did a great job diagnosing and fixing the issue without me feeling any pressure to buy extra stuff. Matt was nice and honest with me about the issues and how much it would cost. No pressure! I went back and got my AC charged and now my car is as cool as a cucumber!!

Tom and Matt are super nice guys and very professional. They serviced my truck back in March of 2020. I moved back home to San Diego just a couple months later, and had a brake issue. I called them and explained the situation that happened, and they honored their work. They told me to take it to a local brake shop to have it examined. All-in-all, they covered the repair because it was a freak issue that wasnt my fault. I would highly recommend this place because they take pride in their work.

Service manager and techs pay attention to detail, are very thorough, energetic, and are always willing to take the time to explain and answer any and all questions you may have before leaving. Quick service and by far the most pleasant experience I have had with any shop in Lincoln. Will be returning in the future.

On February 8th we took our vehicle in for an alignment with brakes plus. Drove off everything seemed great and we were happy. On February 12 our alignment was so far off that our wheel was turned sideways while driving straight. Got our vehicle back into their shop on the 15th today, they said a bolt was loose and they tightened it. As my fiancé was going to drive off he noticed a new knocking while driving. Now our vehicles back up on their lift for the THIRD time, all over a simple alignment. Save yourself the headache and don’t bring your vehicle to brakes plus. I would hate to have seen what would have happened to my vehicle if we wouldn’t have caught the problem and didn’t get our vehicle back in, ya know... for the THIRD time.

Im traveling with my sister and we needed our car jumped. They came to us (we were right down the street) and helped us quickly and curteously. We are so grateful for their help and will definetely be returning if we ever need brakes or mechanical help again!

This was the first time in using Brakes Plus and I must say I’m very pleased! The price for the oil change was better than most and they are SO friendly! I am always so weary about body shops being a woman going in without my husband because of previous experiences at other place—I have been ripped off and tricked into getting more work done then was needed but these guys were so professional and helpful! The guy at the front even made sure to tell me my car was a V4 for when I got asked in the future I could remember because I wasn’t sure when he asked. Such a great place! We don’t live locally, actually I live about a hundred miles out, but I will most definitely make the trip back each time for reliable, trustworthy and friendly service like this!!! Thank you!!

Poor, pricey, an Acura had a bent rear stabilizer bar. Brakes Plus bid me $1,100. Took the bar to Havelock welding to straighten, bought a cam bolt from Omaha, paid another shop to assemble, total cost under $300.

Brake plus have great service every time all the members there are good workers they get you in and out and since I been going to break plus they always reason wit you wit your prices for the costumer satisfaction and Im from LA. My cars always go to break plus first and if its something they can not fix they will tell you straight up then try rip the customer off.

For starters, very few places I have encountered have been the complete package for all around vehicle care. Personally, I use my truck for commercial use, so my experience has been from excessive wear and tear and usage, versus the normal daily driver. And when I came to brakes plus the difference in level of service was the first thing I noticed. Most shops in Lincoln have one or two good factors offset by negative factors, for example...you get brakes done but the techs don’t point out other system needs’ while they’re under the rack, or you’ll get a backyard mechanic who did great work on fords but could be seen YouTubing your chevy’s needs before even diagnosing the issue to you. Sometimes you’ll see an understaffed shop and the interior elements of the outfit are in need of attention, (bathrooms, exteriors, unkept work areas). So watching this outfit operate was eye opening that a higher expectation level could be brought here to Lincoln and raise the bar.What is even more impressive is the knowledge and training that comes with the quality of techs they hire. The old saying “hire character and train skill” is inapplicable because they hired both. I have been a repeat customer for this reason, for the money I have spent in repairs due to my job and workload that my truck performs, I am more than confident in saying I have still saved thousands in potential issues that they prevented by just knowing their job, and applying that experience to their service. I recommend having Joel and Justin lead your vehicles needs and overall care, and if they have suggestions and insight into your vehicles safety and performance, your wallet will thank you for listening; my vehicle IS my office, and trusting it to them has proven effective several times in keeping it on the road. One last mention, it’s a very clean shop compared to some of Lincoln’s other options, which goes a long way in customer reassurance and confidence.

I came into brakes plus just wanting an oil change but ended up I was in need of a few major things so my car would run safely so I wouldn’t hurt myself or others while being on the road traveling especially with these awful snowy conditions. So Bill and Tony helped me out with those and made sure I knew what was going on and talked me through it in terms where I could understand. I recommended my step mom to come here too and they helped her out as well. They were very helpful and respectful people. Definitely will be coming back again. They actually care about people. I took my SUV here with an air conditioning issue. They were able to get my car into their shop within the hour of my call. They called me shortly after with a very reasonable quote. I picked up my car a couple hours later and everything worked great!! I was pleased with my bill and the staff was very informative and helpful. Easy online or call-in scheduling and customer service is great. They made good recommendations, didn’t make me wait, and they had good attitudes when dealing with me. Prices were much better than my car dealership as well.

I had maybe 30 minutes before I can to Brakes plus, gotten my oil changed. I paid $78 for a blended oil and was told that he would “never recommend me anything I don’t need” blah blah blah. I had came to Brakes Plus to see if they could fix an AC compressor in my car. They took it in and looked at it and turns out the jiffy lube tightened my filter too tight so it was leaking oil. Matt, one of the mechanics there, was the one who told me and explained in detail why that’s not good and how to check my oil. He also told me that he ran a jiffy lube and knows what they tend to do there and now works at a WAY better business. They’re straight up, honest people. The price is right when you want things done right and timely. I will be coming back for all of my car issues.

The employees of Brakes Plus are courteous and knowledgeable. The waiting room is clean with complimentary coffee. Work was completed in a timely fashion. I highly recommended Brakes Plus for not only brake repair but for any routine auto maintenance.
