Dr. Potts is very understanding. He takes the time to make sure that the course of treatment will be the least restrictive prior to trying other measures. He works hard to make his anxious patients calm and supported. All of the staff are friendly and respectful.

I just had my cleaning done here by Maya Kraus and she has really exceeded my expectations! She really made me feel at ease throughout the entire cleaning and afterwords I was so impressed by how clean my teeth looked! There were stains on my teeth that I thought wouldnt go away without whitening them and yet they were gone after this cleaning. This is the first time this has happened, which doesnt say much for the previous places Ive been to for a cleaning. Maya has shown me what a good cleaning should look and feel like. I highly recommend!

Dr. Ola is a really good dentist, she is very extremely patient with me during my difficult and painful operations. She actually cares, the receptionist do as well. This will be my permanent location and I already scheduled another appointment for my new patient experience to work on my remaining dental work. Total opposite from the other offices I went to where they scolded me for being poor, these people actually give you payment options. Care Credit isnt really the best card out there but it helped me, I had subpar credit but it gave me a pretty good limit that covered my root canal and extraction.

Always a bag of laughs. Everyone is great. Friendly. Ive always hated the dentist from past experiences and this place has overcome my reluctance. Even when it hurt, it was funny. Mostly. Lol

We just moved to Libertyville and wanted to find a new dentist. We chose based on the location, but we will stay because of the excellent dentists and staff. This dental office is amazing! They are state of the art and very kind and empathetic with patients. They are very reasonable with pricing and Dr. Potts is VERY intuitive about dental, sinus, and other related issues. I would highly recommend this office.

I have been going to Dr. Potts for many years because I was a traumatized dental child of the 1950s. The care he provides and the amazing staff (Leo) make it a comfortable visit. I feel safe while under sedation with his staff.As a microbiologist I was overwhelmingly impressed by the extreme cleanliness of the facility and the staffs careful attention to COVID prevention details. I look forward to my next visit, walking in with pain and later in the day waking up with a new mouth and no pain. I highly recommend this dental practice even if you do not need to be sedated. At Lake County Family Dental, I felt like I got the red carpet treatment. I was greeted upon entering and even got a little gift bag to thank me for choosing their practice. Each and every person I encountered was friendly and professional. The best part of my visit was that I was Dr. Pott’s and, I think his name was Leon, I got their undivided attention and I felt like they cared about me. In my 50 years of life, no dentist has ever truly educated me about my mouth and the different options available to fix my smile. I also liked the sense of humor Dr. Pott’s displayed. I felt very comfortable and knew that I could trust him. I would highly recommend Dr. Pott’s and his team. I would also like to give kudos to, Lori, the lady who initially met with me via Zoom to discuss my dental needs. She was super friendly and eager to help in every way. Dr. Potts is very honest and made me feel very comfortable. As a nervous patient I felt completely secure with everything.

Staff is insensitive to my other health issues that cause impact on my oral health. They also insist that I use their sleep apnea services even though I already have a doctor that is treating me. It is also very expensive.

I have been to several dentists in the Libertyville area in the past year, searching for a new dentist. I came to your office because I saw it every time I shopped at Jewel, its close to home, and I thought Id give it a try since you had a special discount offer for new customers. The office is nice; the people friendly, the hygienist was very friendly and put me at ease. The dentist was also very friendly and nice. HOWEVER! The prices were exorbitant! I was shocked. I do not have dental insurance, and I am a senior citizen. I really can not afford to continue to come to your office for further treatment.Also, I been to several dentists, as Ive stated above, and had ex rays and was told everything looked fine. In your office, I was told I have fillings that should be redone and crowns that should be replaced, and a sleep apnea test that should be done. The bills would be over $5,000 for the work, minus the sleep apnea tests.YIKES!

I have been seeing Dr. Potts since the early 1980s and have nothing but the highest praise for him. Over the years, I have recommended him to friends and family. I am very thankful and am extremely glad that I have seen no other dentist.I made add that whenever I have gone to an Endodontist for speciality work, they are always impressed with my past dental work and want to know who I have been seeing. Dr. Potts and Dr. Ola plus all of the staff are incredibly kind, patient and caring. I was very anxious about my first Root Canal and saw Dr. Ola regarding my fears. She was very caring and listened to my concerns. Due to other medications I take she wasn’t able to do Root Canal but saw Dr. Potts and he referred me to Endodontist in Gurnee. The entire staff at there office were extremely professional and I felt safe from any COVID concerns. Dr. Potts I see today to put crown on my root canal and know I’m getting someone who hears my concerns over my anxiety. His mannerisms are extremely patient and explains everything he is going to do. This practice I highly recommend for many things from teeth cleaning, those who grind there teeth, to whatever dental needs you need. I saw 3 Dentists before him and Dr. Ola and they truly show compassion and understanding. Highly recommend.

I haven’t been to the dentist in roughly 2 years. I dreaded going to the dentist because it was such a negative experience every single time. When I scheduled my new patient consultation with this office I had very low expectations of the dentist. However, I am absolutely blown away. I left the office wanting to go back and just hang out. The office is very clean and welcoming. Their technology is very up to date. They don’t hide anything from you. They are extremely knowledgeable. They listen to you and your concerns. They do everything they can to make you comfortable. I can’t wait to go back in 6 months.

As always Dr. Potts and his team are the best. Doctor spent a lot of time with me explaining things, was super patient with my concerns. Its still not my favorite way to spend a morning but they certainly make it as pleasant as possible.

First time patient... had lots of anxiety going in but my concerns were heard and the intial assessment, consultation and resulting treatment plan were excellent and made me feel confident I had come to the right place.

What I liked the best is making patients feel like they matter. I had issues with my jaw after I had a temporary crown put in, and Dr. Potts saw me right away. Their equipment is state of the art. Very friendly greeters and staff.

After my dentist Dr Emad Bahrani retired, I was worried how I can find a caring dentist similar to him. Ive had about 11 hours worth of work done and my fear of dentist is totally gone. Tuesday I went in to pick up my mouth guard that will keep me from grinding and cracking my teeth in my sleep. I thought Id be in and out in a few minutes but I forgot Dr. Potts is a perfectionist. He made sure that the guard was a perfect comfortable fit. I still doubted I would be able to sleep with it on but I slept through the night without any discomfort. Im recommending Lake County FAMILY Dental Care to all my family and friends.

Took excellent care of me during an extraction of a tooth. I did wake in the middle of it so they went and documented that I require more. Now I’m in the process of recovering. My first initial visit we had scheduled this providers for Wednesday and even though the doctor was, he was willing to come it for the extraction.I thought that was very kind.Michelle was my intake person and she was sweet and caring and understood my anxiety.Beth at the front desk is amazing. I just met Dr. Ola and her team for first time. I have a chipped tooth that needs to be repaired and they took very good care of me on the first visit. I wasnt excited about multiple visits but they took their time in explaining why it was necessary. Their office is brand new and they have a very peaceful environment. I wont say Im looking forward to my next visit but I wont be worrying about it either.

I am really thankful for this dental office and I think Dr. Ola is the best. After waiting 51 years for a dentist to repair my front tooth because of a fall I had as a child, Dr. Ola stepped right up and made my smile look so much better. Im in her debt. I was kind of disappointed as I went to this place because my friend/relative recommended and I would expected to have a better work done as well to have at lease reviewed by Dr.Potts. But I was there a couple of times and never checked by Dr. Potts (even he was in the office), but someone who is pretty new to this office. She seemed was in a hurry and didnt explain as detailing as I would have expected. Followed her recommendation I have 4 teethes treated but I had to return to the office as the works made my chewing very uncomfortable! Also, on my first visit, the teethes cleaning procedure was much shorter than the usually procedure, I just wasnt sure the girl cleaned every place which was supposed to be cleaned. Im not sure if I would go back there again.

Update: I had to leave the country for a year and needed dental services in Europe. Dr. Potts emailed me my records and x-rays. It made all the difference over there. Im back now and one of my first stops was Dr. Potts.

I wanted to save my thoughts until the whole root canal/crown and extraction process finished. I hadnt been to the dentist in, well lets just say too long. Its terrifying and stressful for me and I avoid it like the plague. My experience with Dr. Oola and the staff has been remarkably positive. They have been understanding of my fears and anxiety. Dr. Ola has been patient in explaining the procedures and the process. The procedure itself was painless. The recovery has gone smoothly and as expected. I needed to be sedated to go through with it, but I feel like I can continue to see the dentist with less extreme measures in the future (dont hold me to it though, baby steps...) I seriously recommend Lake County Family Dental, and especially Dr. Oola, to anyone who is anxious or fearful of the dentist. Even more so to people who are not and would just like a great dentist with whom to work.

I always have a very good experience at Lake County Dental care. The employees are genuine, friendly and always make me feel very comfortable. Dr. Potts and Dr. Mahmood are great at dentistry but understand the whole experience is very important from the minute you walk in the door to the time they check you out.

It was a great experience I had a root canal done by Dr. Joseph Bajtner, he was extremely professional and honest. I was frightened he was aware of that and he made sure I was feeling okay even during the procedure. He was able to complete the job that day. I felt no pain or discomfort. I would recommend to all my friends and family. His nurses were friendly and kind the office staff is excellent.

While Dr. Potts is a great dentist that I’ve been seeing for 30 plus years, I’m finding that since in new office with new processes and staff things are not running smoothly. There seems to be a lack of good communication. I get different answers to same question. I hope things get worked out but it was a real shock after a near flawless process for the past 30 years.

I had a horrible experience here. I would have preferred to see Dr. Potts, but he was not available to fit my schedule and instead saw the other dentist. I say that I saw him, but my entire exam was done by a dental assistant and then he came in to confirm everything she found. I was quoted over $9,000 in needed dental work and emailed them to have it double checked to be sure. They said all the work needed was accurate. After feeling uncomfortable with what they said I needed, I went to another practice that confirmed that I had less than half the damage they claimed I had and that they were going to do a series of unnecessary invasive work. (Severely invasive work on healthy teeth) Needless to say, I am now paying less than $1,000 somewhere else and not having perfectly healthy teeth worked on. I would have never written this review without full confirmation that what they were doing was wrong and I got that.

My Wife and I started going there a few years ago, and havent had any issues at all. Great staff and great guy that Dr. Potts. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming. They really work with you when it comes to the procedural costs. I think everyone is going to have their opinion, be it good or bad, I wouldnt let one bad experience ruin it for you. The only critique I would have, is sometimes the waiting time is a little lengthy. But I understand it gets busy and it gets backed up, just the way it is!
