On September 29, 2021 I had a negative experience while picking up my clothes with a male associate. I called and left a voicemail message on the corporate number the next day. Also I spoke with the manager Maria on September 30,2021 and she said she would review the cameras. I am still waiting on the owner of this location to call me. The male associate was very rude and continue to talk and be disrespectful towards in the store and outside of the store. . You cant just talk to customers any type of way. I spend my hard working money at this location, He was very unprofessional and if I wasnt there by myself or with a man he would NEVER spoke to me in that matter. I believe he was trying to get the last word even when I was on the phone talking to my friend he kept antagonizing me once I was putting my clothes in the car as he was locking up the doors. It is not about the price but it is how you are treated with any business.

Very fast to drop off, and leave and get back in a day. Usually any line moves very quickly.I wish they would take items that have some details in the design. Glued on or axed in some other way that is often used in a more boutique type item.

Been coming here for a few years now. Love the service. I always get a big smile and good conversation. My clothes are cleaned timely and usually ready before the stated time. I haven’t been to another cleaners since I’ve been here and will keep it that way.

I definitely will never waste my time and money here again! First and last time ever using such a joke of a unprofessional buisness! They ripped my $300, comforter tried to blame it on me! They said they would have to send it out to get fixed and Id have to wait a minimum of a month! Thn when they couldnt spell my name right and give me a fake recipe so I wouldnt be able to come back and pick up nlmy correct order. But good thing I caught it before I walked out the door! This business does not take responsibility for their mistakes, consider going elsewhere! They melted part of my coat and ruined the stitching!My mother took my down feather coat to get it dry cleaned. The first time she returned, the down feathers were all on one side. They took it back, and they returned it with threading missing from the back of the coat, and a burn/melt mark on the sleeve. The supervisor who we spoke with denied responsibility and said that it was brought in this way. When I pointed to a pressing machine and asked if that had caused the melting, we were told that they use a different machine. The receipt we received after the first round of mistakes says ***Give It To Miriam*** Poor Pressing. Which is odd. I may have misunderstood what the supervisor meant but it seems suspicious. The coat was not like this when it was turned into the dry cleaner. It had a few holes in it from general wear and tear, but this business made it worse by melting the sleeve and removing the stitching.We were given a complaint form, to get reimbursed, but the business decides how much, and they get to keep the coat if they do decide to pay out.We are considering other action. Very poor customer service and very poor service in general.Attached pictures show the missing stitching and burn mark.

Have used this site of CD cleaners since it opened. I have experienced many owners changing. Friendliness and customer service have declined. Prices have consistently risen. Very difficult to exit the parking lot with a left turn onto Milwaukee Ave.

I dropped off a bunch of suits the other day on nice hangers and explained to the young girl ringing me up that I had them on hangers so they didn’t get all wrinkly and lose the shape. Today I went to pick them up and noticed they were on cheap hangers. I called up asking where the nice hangers were and the manager got on phone already defensive going off on me how their policy is they throw out any hangers left with them. I explained to the manager that the young girl never told me that and that if she did I would have Grabbed them. The manager had a very nasty tone with me and kept saying we tell everyone that before they leave and she doesn’t know what to tell me. She continuously cut me off while I was very clearly upset with how they didn’t take responsibility. They need to learn customer service. Every time I got an apology it was “I’m sorry the hangers were thrown out but we tell every customer when they leave them here and that they will be thrown out and I don’t know what to tell you.” Super disappointing.

I like the speed, price and the employees are great. What I dont like is that the cleaning and pressing is not the same quality I get from a neighborhood dry cleaner. I realize that this is a volume service with a much lower retail price per unit, though. So, when I have a piece that needs more TLC, I take it to the independent dry cleaner. CD One is good for the everyday stuff.

NEVER have alterations done here! Not only is the service sent out, they do NOT stand by the work. I brought an evening gown in to have 3 inches removed and hemmed. The gown came back with a ridiculously uneven hem. Upon bringing this to the managers attention, I immediately was informed that was how the dress was originally and they do not warranty or guarantee the work. I was informed that I had been told this originally when informed they sent out alterations (yeah, I would have left the dress my 90 year old mother is wearing for my daughters wedding being informed the work may not be done properly!!)I was argued with and NO sort of customer service was even presented. I am out $38 and WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this business.I have never been so offended by any business. DO NOT patronize them!!

I cannot be adamant enough that this business has no appreciation for its customers. I was able to shrug off the times items were returned to be with the original stains because generally it was caught and at least I was credited. I started going to this cleaner almost immediately after they opened. The several price increases were not an issue to me. The cheap hangers they use were not an issue. I was generally pleased which is why they were my exclusive cleaners for years but for my wifes fancy dresses. I received an email from them offering a discount with$20 in cleaning. I seldom if ever used a coupon there. I got to the shop after work on the last day of the offer. My email somehow wasnt opening up. The person writing me could clearly discern I had the offer and could see on my history it was not used. He refused to give me a break despite my telling them about the hundreds of times I went in. I asked to speak to the manager and that is where they really lost me. A ruder, worse person I could not imagine. She pointed to a person at the next counter holding a paper version of the offer and announced He has a coupon. He is a REAL customer! Pardon me if i believe a real customer is one whos frequented an establishment hundreds of times without the benefit of coupons and offers 99% of the time. Talk about people having no loyalty to a customer. I will take my hundreds of dollars a year in cleaning business to Skyline. For the extra couple bucks a week at least I can hope to be treated like a Real customer. And please, spare me the canned corporate response to try and show people you care. Your manager had that chance and not only refused to do so but refused in a manner that makes me BEG people to not give this place business.

I had my winter jacket cleaned and the collar was puffy on both sides with filling before I brought it in. After I brought it in the collar is puffy on one side and flat on the other

What do I like best about your store? Your prices, your positive energy, the way you are organized, your no-nonsense approach to your offer & customers which is easy to understand and navigate. Your plant has really good energy when I walk in. I tend to observe employees to see if they are happy - and yours do seem to be quite helpful and happy most all the time. My only complaint is that you are a half hour away from where I live, but I make the trek when I need dry cleaning. Well done!

I am not sure how to rate this. Based on my experience the last two times, two stars are a lot. Last week got there at 7:00 am and they were still closed. I go before work. They didnt open until 7:20. Then today, I dropped clothes off and they are not in production, so I had to wait until tomorrow after 5:00. What is the purpose of the hours or guarantee of having your clothes the same day? There is no grey area, either they are spot on or stuff like this happens. I have to say, I have never been to a cleaners that has all these problems.

I have been going there for few years but lately the service has changed . i am not getting my dry cleaning done on time . i feel like i am getting harassed by the staff and one in particular acts like i did something wrong when i arrive 5 min before 10 am there cut off time for same day service . i had to make several trips to get all my dry cleaning . i have complained to the Manager or owner not sure. he assured me something will be done. still getting harassed . i am looking for different service . i spend 200$ to 300$ a month . i am done doing business with CD cleaners.

I am a huge fan of CD One Price Cleaners. I have used them all across the city and suburbs and had a consistently great experience until I went to this location. I dropped off 7 items, 3 of which needed buttons sewn on. I called ahead to make sure this location provided this service because I know some dont. I was told all of the items would be ready on 3/30, including the items that needed buttons. The clerk also said that cleaning was included in the price. When I came to pick up my items, the jackets with the buttons were not ready. I told them no big deal, perhaps the clerk misspoke or I misunderstood. I come back after the new date they told me and none of the jackets were cleaned. I was upset because after 3 weeks and 3 trips, and being TOLD they would be cleaned, I had to pay another $10 to clean them and make another trip (20 minutes away from my office). I asked to speak to a manager and was told that he wasnt in but would call me the next day. Of course he never called and when I phoned he basically said he wasnt responsible for what his employees told his customers and offered me a credit for $3.29. I will NEVER come back to this CD One Price and would think twice about visiting any in the future.

They get the job done. Get my shirts in before 10 am and out by 5 pm. The front desk people can smile a bit. Its not that bad coming to work everyday. Try to engage with your customers a bit. Ask questions about their dry cleaning needs and if they want to get any item paid some extra attention, while cleaning.

Im re-reviewing based on my contact with the management staff. The contact is none. Despite what they claim in their reply to my previous review, they have not reached out. If they did reach out, I assume they would continue to claim theyre not responsible for their screw up. Please take your business elsewhere, if this owner lies about contacting customers, think about them lying to your face when they screw up your clothes

Dropped my husbands shirts, they returned them with stains in the collar. We took them again, the stain cant be removed and basically blamed us, that we had brought the shirts in those conditions. They have returned a sweater and pants with what looked like water stains, and had to be done again. And the sweater was returned with a puncture hole, which they told me is because I have moths at home, which I dont and all my other sweaters are perfect.. and the sweater went in perfect conditions to the store.

I dropped off 23 shirts on one day and came home with only 22 and a credit for $1.79. I was told the attendant had miscounted when I dropped them off. I had in fact, counted them prior to coming in and was charged correctly for 23. Upon calling the Manager, he told me he would review the video footage and call me back on Monday. On Tuesday after receiving no call back, I called him. I was told that I needed to come in, get some paperwork and file a claim with the corporate office to see if I could possibly be reimbursed. No apology, no admitting they lost my shirt and no empathy.There is no doubt this location does a great job with laundering mens dress shirts -but at what cost? The old addage You get what you pay for has never been so true.

Once I started using this place, I started having broken buttons on my suits every time I picked them up. They offer alterations but ONLY if you bring buttons to match and if you can be without your garment for a week. Broken buttons happen, so I was ok with that to a degree. Recently I dropped off about 20 pieces and among them was a dress shirt which needed a top button. The shirt came back 10 days later with a button, but not laundered or pressed. The woman working the counter said I never told them to press the shirt despite the fact they figured out why I dropped off everything else. They are cheap for a reason. Marginal customer service at best and frequently damaged clothes.
