Friendly and helpful staff, but I have to give 4 stars due to the mobile truck share program, it caused more problems than advantages. The U-Haul app is not good, and it would either freeze, or when I would take a picture of the odometer for example it wouldnt work and almost prevented me from returning the rental properly and probably would have charged me a fee for returning it late. Instead of the app I went to the U-Haul site on my browser and it would not allow me to share my location (which the process required), even though it was no problem on the app, and I checked my location settings on my phone and everything. Luckily I used my girlfriends phone (same exact phone model) and it finally worked. Anyway this place is good if youre renting a truck during business hours, but I would not recommend using the U-Haul app or 24/7 truck share option unless you have no other option.

I would avoid renting equipment from liberty rental 4 u. I rented a trencher that didn’t work properly and paired with a trailer that was unsafe to drive. The trencher did in fact make a trench but left all the loose dirt in the trench that I had to shovel out. What is the point of using a machine when you have to go back through and dig it out? When I returned the trencher I made them aware of the situation and was originally told by the agent she was going to check it in and talk to someone about the final invoice. She had one of her lot techs come out and hand me my final invoice that showed no discount. I guess they assumed I wouldn’t look at it? Not sure of the motive there but I went back inside and spoke with another gentleman whose response was “did it make a trench?” After explaining to him what happened and showing him the machine and trailer he said “I’ll give you half your money back but I’m not giving you all of it.” It’s this kind of customer service that really pisses me off. It was also “my fault cause I didn’t call in yesterday to tell them.” If you enjoy horrible customer service and equipment that doesn’t work this is the place to go!

Went in today to inquire about renting a trailer for Friday or Saturday of this week & was disrespected by an employee behind the register as I was speaking w the respectful young lady whom I believe is an owner. I have rented from this local business (3) three times in the past & I DO NOT & WILL NOT plan to give my hard earned income to Liberty Rental 4 U again or recommend their business to any more of my Clients or Colleagues until the smart mouth cashier has moved on . It’s VERY SAD that she is a front line representative of a an otherwise great local business w great founders.

We had to replace a broken sewer line in the middle of a winter storm. Knowing how unpredictable Missouri weather is they went above and beyond helping me work around the storm. They were truly the only positive part of the entire experience.Very grateful for the exceptional customer service.

Excellent and attentive staff. Good variety of products for rent. You can also fill your propane tank at a good price. Ive rented a chainsaw, and an electric eel and was fully briefed on the safety features as well as proper use. They dont just hand you a chainsaw and wave bye bye but make sure you know how to start it, and how to use the included safety equipment.

I called to rent a UHaul 10 mins before closing time and communicated we were on our way and less than 1 mile away.. when we arrived, they had closed their doors (even though they knew we were on our way) and would not rent us a vehicle saying they were closed. I spoke w the OWNER and explained the situation, telling him the service agent on the phone gave us NO INDICATION that if we arrived at 5p (their closing time) they would not rent us a vehicle.... I have NEVER been treated by a local business owner w such disrespect and would NOT recommend doing business w this company. THANKFULLY, We went to HOME DEPOT who was efficient, easy to work with and very accommodating. If you’re looking to rent a vehicle, I recommend a business who values the customer.

They had what Home Depot didnt! We were looking to rent a pallet jack and got the referral from Home Depot to go. One phone call and visit and thats it....weve found our new favorite rental place! The staff is genuinely nice, helpful, and the prices are good. Give them a try!

Just rented a stump grinder, or as I called it, The Destroyer, and it was awesome! Got a great tutorial on how to use it, already loaded on a trailer, warmed up and ready to go. I had no idea how long Id need it but when I returned it early they charged me the 1/2 day price. Great people and The Destroyer ran like a champ.

I have rented several items from a log splitter, paint sprayer, floor dryer and dehumidifier. Best prices around, great quality tools, well maintained and excellent customer service. Dont bother checking prices because youre just wasting your time!

Friendly folks, kinda pricey but we rented a truck and I am sure U-Haul sets those rates not the local folks. Or at least I hope so. Great hours. Open all weekend which really helped us in a pinch during a last minute move.

Check out Liberty Rental 4 U they are located on the I35 outer road just down from the Green Lantern Car Wash.They refill BBQ propane tanks for $13.99 and give you the full 20lbs of propane that the tank holds.I have been doing the Propane tank exchange for years at Lowe’s and had no idea that those only have 15lbs of propane even though the bottle holds 20. The propane exchange is charging you more money usually $15 to $ 20 and you are getting 5lbs less propane than having it refilled at Liberty Rental where you get the full 20lbs for $13.99. I needed a spare tank and they sold me a brand new 20lb tank and filled it all for $39.95! Can’t beat that.Everyone is super friendly at Liberty Rental 4 U. They are a small local family owned business that rents everything from party supplies like frozen drink machines to construction equipment. Check them out

We rented a Uhaul and aerator today and they went above and beyond! It’s refreshing to see people be nice for no reasons other than pure kindness!!

Staff was extremely friendly and customer service oriented. We had a lot of hiccups with our home purchase and move and they were so helpful and accommodating. Will be returning for all our rental needs.

I had a very good experience with Liberty Rental. They went above and beyond when I needed a truck to move out. Above everything, they were the kindest out of all the Uhaul authorized dealers I spoke with today.

Look no further ladies and gentlemen this is your ONE STOP SHOP for ALL your RENTAL NEEDS!In december of 2016 i left the military and relocated my family and i to the liberty area for a new career. Over the last year this is the ONLY place i went to for my family and business rental needs. The most pivotal expeience i had with them was the most recent. Once again my family and i chose to relocate, but this time for family. FAMILY is the most important element of my life. Now when this companys motto is redefining the rental experience they leave out the part where they treat you as FAMILY. In novemeber we found our selves minimizing our move due to financial constraints. We packed our cars and decided to load up the 2nd car onto a trailer and tow that so that our family could be in one vehicle instead of doing what would have been essential a convoy traveling 2k miles. We then placed a reservation with Uhaul. Of course Uhaul messed up our reservation on their side because they could not find it even though i had the confirmation email and reservation number. This did not phase the employee helping me. She said not a problem we will just make a new one. Then the employee that assisted with the hook up of the trailer onto my truck was beyond knowledgeable. He pointed out the fact that the car we were hooking up to the trailer would ruin our trasnmission because it was 4x4. So he notified the manager/owner. It was a quick fix. He switched over to the proper trailer very quickly. After that he assisted in teaching us how to get the vehicle on and off the trailer and hook it up. Once the vehicle was hooked up he noticed that the hit was very low and advised we needed to fix it. (At this point the store was already passed the closing hours) he walked over to the mgr/owner and let him know. Then they said lets take care of it. They dropped the trailer, fixed my hitch( which meant cutting off the pin because i lost the key to the lock and then reversing the position on the pin), and reloaded the trailer back onto my truck. While i was walking in to the store i overheard the mgr/owner speaking to the employee and he said we always do the right thing. This made my heart fill with absolute joy.In this wonderful world it is very rare to find a business that truely cares about its customer and treats them like FAMILY. This team of people go above and beyond for every single customer and they understand your needs. And they do everything in their power to provide outstanding service. This buiness in my opinion should have a 10 star rating!THANK YOU LIBERTY RENTAL 4 U! You guys are outstanding and provide top notch customer service! (Btw we made it to Arizona safely, despite the fact that one of the tires blew out on our trip.... Uhual took care of us quickly and got us back on the road)
