Joining the Rewards Program helped us to get a lower price than we would have by using a Discount App. This also gave us extra perks, such as day-of cancellation, if it had been necessary. This was huge, since our trip was weather-dependent. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful, and our room was meticulous. The breakfast options were great for what we wanted/needed. This was our first stay, and based on our experience, well definitely be back next time were in the area!

Positive: The meeting venues were excellent for the seminars I attended. The staff were very cordial, friendly, and helpful. I loved being able to operate the thermostat for the a/c in the room. Negative: The bed was very uncomfortable... the mattress was too soft.

We have stayed at many Wyndham properties over the years. Some questionable, but we stayed anyway, and some we took one look at the room and left immediately. This property, Wingate, was by far one of the best we have stayed in. There are areas that could use improvement, just like any hotel, but all in all, it was clean, quiet, staff was accommodating and kind. There is a sundry shop that was open late and very convenient when traveling with teenagers who get hungry in the middle of the night. The breakfast had a large variety to choose from, which was a pleasant surprise. If you are like us and are Wyndham rewards members, you understand that finding a suitable stay is like roulette, its a gamble. The location was right by the highway with easy off and on. If we are ever back this way, we will most definitely stay at this hotel again!

We were only there for one night but the room was very clean, beds and pillows were conformable. The continental breakfast was good, considering were still in covid times. The lady at the front desk was very warm and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. I wish I knew her name to give her well deserved praise!

I spoke with Rolanda to make my reservations, coming from Atlanta to attend my mothers funeral. She was so kind and accommodating. It just so happened she was there when we arrived and I have never felt so welcome in a hotel. I felt like I was visiting an old friend. She was warm, Friendly, and accommodating to all of our needs. She is definitely an asset to her team.

My girls and I have been to this hotel twice in the past two months. We love it here. Always so clean and the staff is always so nice. We always stay here while visiting Columbia. I would recommend this place. You wont be disappointed.

So we arrived and there was about 20 people lined up waiting to get room keys. It took over an hour to get to the counter because they had messed up almost everyones rooms. Then we had to argue about our room for about an half hour . So we finally get our key and go to our room and its nasty. Never again! I called the manager and of course she doesnt answer my calls. Tried to Call corporate and they hung up on me 3 times. ( Said they was transferring me)

Friendly staff, entire building smelled and looked clean. Even the ends of the toilet paper were folded over. Complimentary adult beverages 5 PM to 7 PM. Great breakfast.

My first and second visit was amazing. First time I got the suite. the room was so big and fully stocked with all the items you need. Only down side the bed was too small for my taste. It was a queen bed but it looked like a twin. The second time I got a king size room and the bed was bigger and felt way better. Down side the room was smaller but still amazing. The lobby is so beautiful neat and clean. The staff is so friendly and professional. I had a wonderful stay

Came to town to visit family and stayed here the weekends of 4/9 and 4/16. On both occasions everything from check in to check out were great overall. Parking lot was clean, desk attendants were friendly, the rooms were clean, common areas were clean, breakfast was good, complimentary toiletries at the front desk. I hate that we didnt have a chance to go to the pool because it looked very inviting. The only complaints are on our first weekend the family above us sounded like a herd of elephants which made falling asleep difficult. The second weekend we were on the top floor by the elevator so we heard EVERYTHING. The pillows are extremely soft so on my next visit Ill be sure to bring my own. Still nothing bad enough to take away any of the five stars that theyve earned. We plan to use this hotel every time we come to visit.

Stayed here for a work trip and I enjoyed. The hotel was very clean and the employees at the front desk were amazing. They accommodated me from before I even got to the hotel and was having a delay. I’d love to stay here again.

I was very pleased with my stay, everything was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable,and all the staff I encountered were polite and friendly. I was in a suite, I found it well appointed without it being too much. I liked there was plenty of room, the curtains did an excellent job of blocking light and it was quiet. If I’m ever in Lexington, SC again this is where I will stay.

Had an issue and spoke with Tom. He would not let me finish speaking before repeating the hotel policy in a demeaning tone. I got upset and began to scream which is when he started listening. I then calmed down bc he was hearing me but he only repeated the same thing in the same tone. Iask for his first and last name so I could file a complaint and he refused to give me his last name due to my yelling. I will be contacting customer svc which is closed for the weekend.

Omg this place this place!!! So Im currently traveling and may I say this is one of the best hotel experiences ever. Check in was immediate. The women at the desk was amazing and quick also informing us about breakfast. The bed is the DEVIL!!! LOL I almost couldnt get out of it to get back on the road. Needless to say I had to and Im extremely saddened. This place offers so much comfort and is clean!!!!!!!! Thank you all and I would definitely recommend to anyone... almost decided to sleep in!

Shortly after my stay I requested my receipt and found out the truth. Yes comfortable but no integrity. Just sad. I originally left a 5 star review until reviewing my receipt and learning of this sad discrepancy.

The hotel itself was great but there was no ventilation in the rooms for a woman of color to be able to blow dry her hair 🙄

Positive: I liked the location of the hotel. It was close to gas stations and various restaurants. Also close to highways. Negative: The original room I received was not clean and smelled like sour sweat. Hair was on shower walls and a dead roach underneath the sink. Front desk switched me to a new room but did not apologize or seem concerned about the dirty room.

This hotel is top notch from the great customer service at the front desk all the way to the comfortable pillows and bed linens! The front desk desk was the friendliest I have ever encountered in my numerous travels (I travel a lot!). They had cookies and mint water in the lobby and even the public restroom off the lobby had complementary feminine hygiene products. The made check in and check out a breeze and each staff member we encountered was friendly. The hotel is also conveniently located right off the highway and next to a drive through Starbucks!

The Wingate in Lexington always does a great job taking care of my Family. My Mom would not stay anywhere else.

We had a great stay at this very clean and nice hotel. The coffee in the room was actually pretty good and there was a full breakfast served downstairs in the lobby from 6am to 10am. The front desk ladies were very nice and our stay was only for one night but I would definitely reccommend it to anyone.

Wingate was an excellent choice for me and my family. Like most reviews, the staff was excellent. For it being a big hotel, it feels family owned. The pool was small but nice, all areas were clean, the rooms are comfortable, and breakfast was real nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Stayed two nights while in town. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and very nice. There was a problem at check-in due to me booking the wrong dates and I was assisted in fixing the situation quickly. The breakfast was very good. The woman who was there was very kind and was extremely helpful. The breakfast was until ten on Sunday unlike another reviewer stated so we almost missed it the first day. I was going to a funeral of a loved one and the kindness of the hotel staff went a long way. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Just stayed here 1 night but, wish it would have been more. This is absolutely a gorgeous hotel with a great staff. Rooms are very spacious and clean. They have a managers reception in the evening with free beer and wine and a delicious full breakfast. Clarissa at the front is truly a sweetheart and has a genuine concern for guests. We will definitely be back. Great job Wingate!

Clean and Quiet place to stay!!

Nice room and tasty breakfast options. Walking distance to a few good restaurants for lunch and dinner. Would be 5 stars but walls are thin. Our room was on the side where the outdoor pool was and kids were screaming like crazy late at night. Had to complain a few times before staff did anything..no parents were around.

Just finished a 5 day 8 state trip it was the best hotel on the trip by far. Breakfast was the biggest and best we had even a pancake machine, grits, eggs, waffles, french toast sticks, Crispy bacon, yogurt, cold cereal, fruit, coffee, juice and lots more. The room was the cleanest and best bed. Restaurants really close, had nice pool also and much more

This hotel was amazing. I stayed their own 8-13-18 for a business trip and the staff was more than phenomenal. The breakfast was also amazing. Rooms and bathrooms were very neat and clean. I recommend this hotel to anyone. Will be back soon.

Friendly Staff to welcome you, and a delicious Continental Breakfast before you leave. Thumbs up for this place! They know what they are doing to get you to come back some more!

The room was great!

My family and I had a restful stay while in town for the weekend. This hotel is immaculately clean with what may be the most comfortable beds in the hotel market. We picked Wingare because of its location and were beyond pleased with our quick access to I-20 and surrounding areas. They provided a crib for our son and the rooms are toddler proof for the most part. Breakfast service seemed to be the only constructive comment I can provide. We enjoyed the selections offered but with deluge of guests, it was easy to see the attendant needed help and was overwhelmed by the volume. Even if it is continental, there was enough patronage to warrant a second helper. It might have been an unforeseen capacity weekend and we will definitely calling the Wingate home on our next visit to the area.

We stayed here on our way home from Disney. It was nice, clean and had a good breakfast. However, the walls and floors here are SUPER thin. Once your neighbors are awake, so are you! It was very loud and we could here every step the person made above us starting at 6am :( and on! The screaming kids next to us playing and running around didn’t help either. Not the place to stay if you need sleep!

Was greeted in a proper manner, hotel itself is clean and updated. Room was clean and a view towards the highway. Lounge area is pretty laid back and the breakfast was delicious. Plenty of parking on the side closer Chili’s. Would recommend!

The rooms are always immaculate. There is ample parking and a Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A within walking distance. They also accept Corporate Lodging as an added bonus for business travelers.
