I’ve been working on cleaning my mothers pool for 3 months and did not get anywhere, it was still a deep green color. It was only until contacting this company and getting great advice,the pool cleaned up to a pretty light blue color after two treatments . Thank you so very much for helping me. Glad this place opened up close. This place was very helpful in opening my pool up and maintaining it. Other places wanted to overcharge and do more drastic, unneeded things. Would highly recommend them and would give more stars if possible.

We had an old tired pool and spa, waterline tiles cracked and in disrepair, concrete cracked and in disrepair and plaster cracked and in disrepair. Contracted with Pete to redo the concrete, tile and plaster and we could not be happier with their work ! the tile they put in looks amazing, the new pebble tek plaster is awesome and all the concrete work is spot on. The whole team was great to work with and every time there was an issue that came up they had it resolved in no time !

Clean showroom and friendly, knowledgeable staff. No spa to actually see. Only samples of siding and interiors. Everything is on back order to arrive in 2 months.

Great Customer service and a very knowledgeable team over at Pete Alewine Pool & Spa. Special thanks to Tim and Randy for the work and a Great Job they they did on our liner replacement today. Still have a few things to finalize in the next day or so after the pool fills up, but Im confident it should be smooth sailing with these 2 on site. They installed a fiberglass pool, water feature and patio. Management of our expectations was difficult because you have to go through their office staff in Augusta, who dont communicate with the people actually doing the work. We had several issues that were best resolved by requesting face to face meetings with the job supervisor at our home. I would recommend meeting with the job supervisor day one so that he understands your expectations beforehand. For example, the designer up sold us a concrete coating but failed to tell the supervisor that we wanted it to hide the texture of our old patio, so the surface wasnt properly prepped to do so. They made it right and even re-stained the patio and pool deck a new color for free to make up for some of our negative experiences. The whole project ultimately turned out beautifully. Paul and Shawn were great in person.

I had no idea how everything works in installing the pool but they patiently explained everything thoroughly to the last detail. I was awed by the patience of the staffs of Pete Alewine Pool & Spa so I highly recommend this company to those who are new tho this kind of service.

I wouldn’t recommend or use them again. They say one thing and won’t honor their words, even when it’s in an email correspondence. Meanwhile, this guy from the store calls me today and tries “assist” me with my concerns. After I address those many issues, he hangs up and leaves a comment that is so hilarious. The owner’s son Paul can’t even manage a job unless you ASK him to show up! Then leaves a comment that is straight from Paul, to where he lied to my face!

I never experienced this kind of high quality work before. I would really recommend trying Pete Alewine Pool & Spa and see for yourself

I have recently put in a swimming pool through Pete Alewine Pool & Spa and Im extremely happy with the turnout. Their designer was excellent gave me plenty of options and new ideas I didnt even think of. Peter came out and explained how to work the pool equipment and maintenance so well I understood it all. My husband and I wanted a pool for a long time. We spent months meeting with over 10 companies to make sure we chose the right one. Once we met with Peter at Pete Alewine Pool & Spa, we knew they were the perfect pool company to build our swimming pool. He was thorough and professional, as was the entire staff. Once the workers began the project they were professional and efficient and cleaned up after themselves each day. Anytime I had a question I’d call the office and they would answer me right away. Pete Alewine Pool & Spa finished our pool in 4 weeks flat! We were extremely happy with our experience.

These people have 3 reviews. NOW 4. I called and ask about a pool drainage issue I had. I explained what I wanted done. Sump drain in deep end and shallow end. I was told this is something that they could do. I was told that they would talk with Service Department and get back with me that afternoon. (Wish I had a name) Well, its been 7 afternoons and no call. I can only assume that they didnt want the work and I understand that. It involves digging and rocks and all the ugly stuff associated with pool work. Not the easy drop in a liner and charge $3000.00. But not to call back! Thats inexcusable for any business. You are only as good as your word, period. Why would you spend $1000s of dollars advertizing when all you have to do is tell the truth. So, there are many pool companies, make sure you pick one with integrity, in the end, you will be glad you did.

The crew did a great job, when there was an issue they corrected it and went above and beyond by offering me a more custom idea without charge. I would recommend the team. The communication via cell and text was so appreciate. Peter was great along the way. The rest of the crew although I cant remember the names please extend my appreciation of a job well done.

Wow, Great experience from start to finish, The crew at Pete Alewine Pool & Spa are very professional and time efficient. I have dealt with pool contractors in the pass and opted to never have a pool built again, However my wife really did her research along with our neighbor and she convinced me to call Pete Alewine Pool & Spa and after our first meeting with them we felt comfortable signing the contract with them. If there are more than 5 stars they will get it! Keep up the good work.

We had our pool resurfaced and tile replaced. Pete and crew had the tile done in two days and they pool resurfaced in another two days. The pool looks great! Peter was in communication throughout the process and were accommodating to our requests. We appreciate you taking care of us! Thanks Peter and crew for a job well done.

I like this store. People working there are smart and quite friendly. I hired them to upgrade my pool pump, switch to a salt water system, new filter, etc. They showed up when they said theyd be there (a rare occurrence in Lexington), and did excellent work. Very pleased. I recommended them.

My pool need a new pool liner and the deck had drainage issues. Peter helped me come up with a great design plan. I decided on a new pool liner, wider drainage, water jets and resealing the deck. Work commenced a few days after a contract was signed.  Peter was easy to reach with questions during the project.

I would definitely recommend this pool company for your pool needs. Peter had been on top of the construction from start to finish. It did take a while to finish the whole backyard, but that was not Pete Alewine Pool & Spas fault. It was the problems of rain,the city, and the permits that was holding us back.
