Dont believe the hype theyre selling used phone parts as new. I paid 300 for a used galaxy 8 screen. I could see shadows from when it was previously used on another phone.. It cracked again within the same week. When a brought it back they wanted 200 more dollars and that was at the discounted price. Now you do your own judgment on that. Never again 👎

When a tip of aux code stuck in the earphone jack, apple store & certified service provider “Best Buy” said it stuck too deep to take out. When all Verizon Wireless wanted to do is sell me an overpriced phone to replace my damaged phone Dillon came to the rescue. Verizon told me that it could not be fixed because of the water damage and refused to look at it. Dillon, at the SmartPhone Medic, said he would do his best to get it back up and to my surprise Dillon had my phone back up and working in no time. Dillon was very friendly and helpful. I appreciate his kindness, because I surely could not afford a new phone.

Awesome service! At the last minute before a trip, our cell died and would not recharge (it was getting old) so we took it in hoping to at least be able to retrieve our almost 200 pictures. We had called a couple of cell repair shops and were told it couldnt be done. Only this shop said they would see what they could do and it wouldnt cost anything for them to look at it. Dillon from another office was due by later in the day so we left the dead phone for him to work with. When we called later in the day, Dillon told us he was able to copy the pictures onto a memory card and all we had to do was bring the new phone by. Though it was closing time, the staff stayed until we came in. Dillon loaded all the pictures onto the new phone and we left as extremely satisfied customers! Dillon saved several years worth of pictures, some of relatives no longer with us. Needless to say this meant a lot to us. Dillon is truly an expert! Thanks for great customer service!

Battery replaced and my peace of mind was restored.I decided to purchase a battery from an eBay vendor and replace it myself. How difficult could it be? The challenges were beyond belief! Have you ever seen how small those pentalobe screws are? YIKES as I dropped a few and also the ribbon cable connectors proved to be too much. I was without a phone for approximately 18 hours. I went to this location to have the screen repaired on my IPhone based on the number of great reviews that they have received. I was quoted a time frame of 2-3hrs for the repair, this time frame was very important to me as this is my business phone and needed the repairs done as quickly as possible. After 4 hours I had not heard back so I called to see when the phone would be ready and was told within an hour however it was another 2 hours before receiving my phone back (after calling again very upset) putting me at 6 hours total time. I was upset with the lack of communication and time that it took to repair. The only reason I am giving the 3 stars is because Dylan was very professional and apologetic about the situation and they did do a great job on the replacement. I do understand that they are busy but at the same time please be somewhat accurate of the time frame for these types of repairs.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Dillon at the Lexington branch right before Christmas. He composed DVDs of my family vacation and all of my videos off of my I Phone . It was a very detailed and time consuming project, but Dillon went beyond my expectations and finished my project before my promised date. The technician, Dillon, who finally replaced the battery and got my tablet to work (it was working properly when I left it with them) did an outstanding job; Dillon is awesome!I would have given this company a higher rating but the technician I dealt with earlier (prior to Dillon) admitted he wasn’t familiar with my Samsung tablet and wanted to blame the tablet not properly working on the tablet itself and apps on the device. I went here for the first time and was very satisfied with the results. I have an iPhone 6s Plus. Pros: I was diagnosed and quoted a price within minutes. My phone was back working like new in a hour. The customer service was great. Comes with a warranty. Cons: l had to settle for a black screen (mine was originally white), I found a cheaper price w/warranty at a different location($80) after having it repaired by Smartphone Medic. My wifes iPhone 6 just stopped working and wouldnt turn back on. It had never done this before and up to this point, we had no issues with the phone. When I arrived at the store, Andrea met me with a smile and in 5 minutes I was back in my car with a working phone again. On top of the excellent service I received, she said there was NO CHARGE for the work she did even though I offered to pay her.

I visited last week because my phone had fallen at the gym and my headphone jack was messing up. They cleaned it out and retried it and it was working just like new! Andrea was great! I was in and out in less than 5! I will definitely be going back if I ever have other issues!
My granddaughters phone screen died on August 17, 2016 and insurance replaced it in 2 days however, we couldnt save her photos and contacts without a screen so on Aug. 23rd the dead screen was left with Smart Phone Medic at 609 Columbia Ave in Lexington SC and next day on Aug. 24th, Andrea called and told me that she was able to save the pictures, videos and the contacts. Thank you all for your excellent work. My granddaughter was very relieved that Andrea saved pics which included some pics of her deceased father.
I needed a new battery for my phone that would have to be ordered in at the SmartPhone Medic kiosk. However, the employee working, Thomas, referred me to a battery store since I needed the problem fixed as soon as possible. He also let me use the store phone to call the store to make sure it was in stock. I bought a new charger from Thomas as a thanks for helping me.
Stopped by with iPhone storage problem. They helped me figure out how to empty trash and even moved my photos to a laptop and there was no charge for the advice and help. All done with patience and a smile. Would definitely go back and highly recommend them!

I stopped in yesterday to get my iPhone looked at because it wouldnt charge unless I had the phone standing up against a hard surface. Devin told me he would do some deep cleaning and that solved the problem. In and out in less than 3 minutes.
Went in because of a cracked screen on my LG G6. Chase told me the screen needed to be ordered and that it would take 3-5 days. He called two days later and they were ready for me to drop the phone off for repair. Once I dropped my phone off they said it would take approximately 2 hours to complete the repair. They were on time and very professional. Would use their services if needed again. Thanks guys!

This is a very clean store. I spoke with a guy named Ryan who assisted me with charging a battery that I could no longer charge through my phone. He had a simple device too place the battery into and plugged it into the wall. He told me to come back in a few hours. After I came back, he handed me my battery with a full charge and said no charge. I said seriously? He said seriously. So I decided to write a review and say thank you. You dont see customer service like that very often. Well done.

Best customer service experience from any industry I have ever experienced by far!I have a Samsung S7 that just went out of warranty a month ago. I had a few issues with the phone saying it detected moisture when attempting to charge, but I was able to get that resolved. Then, when using my phone normally, I could not hear anyone nor could they hear me, but it worked perfectly on speaker on connected to Bluetooth. I called another local cellphone repair shop and they basically told me that my internal microphone/speaker would need to be replaced and to do that would mean removing the back cover which would most certainly crack the front glass, so I might as well buy a new phone because of how expensive the repairs and parts would be. They told me I could get a refurbished one for about $350.I dropped into SmartPhone Medic in Lexington, SC at 5:10pm and was almost immediately waited on. The gentleman gave my phone to Andrea in the back. I explained to her what had happened and she went back and came back a few minutes later stating she had it working, but then when she tested it, it didnt work. She said she didnt think it was my internal microphone/speaker, but that my phone was stuck on thinking it was on external. She took it back again and moments later had it working.Now, for the clincher...I had my credit card out and would have gladly paid a nice price for the 10 minutes that she took to fix my phone, but she wouldnt accept any money since she didnt replace any parts or take my phone apart.I will be letting Verizon know to always recommend SmartPhone Medic and Andrea in particular because Verizon was the one that told me about the two cellphone repair shops in the area.Andrea and the SmartPhone Medic team, you rock!!!

The staff (Devin) and the technician (Andrea) were very friendly and respectful; they provided a detail explained the situation with the phone (iPhone 4s), worked on the phone and explained that it is an equipment failure which could reoccur at any time, so they did not charge anything to solve the problem.

My husbands iPhone 6 charge port and headphone jack have been messing up lately. Heres the visual - hes spent 30+ minutes wiggling, fenagling, praying and sweet talking this charge port just to get it to charge every night lol we dont have a landline and his cell phone is our only source of contact.It went kaput. No amount of wiggling, fenagling or begging was going to work this time 😂 I told him to bring his butt up here to have them look at it and with how little knowledge I have with fixing a phone, we all know they could have been as bad as a dang car mechanic. I took necessary steps to speak car and driver, but as long as I keep coming to this place I dont feel the need to take time out of my busy schedule to learn a skill I have no interest in learning.The charge port was dirty. Thats it. It was dirty and he cleaned it and had us out the door in 5 minutes. No charge. It was so anticlimactic I had to laugh 😂 thats honest work though and exactly what we need more of.Thank you, Dillon! I know my husband is happy and we both appreciate it 🙃

I took my Samsung Galaxy S6(which was broken) to get my contacts and pictures switched over to my new S9+, and apparently this was too big of a job for them. After it taking them 2 days to finish, they had switched the wrong information over and then had to redo. When i brought the phones back in 2 weeks later, i again explained that i only wanted the contacts and pictures, Not the DATA from the old phone.....JUST the contacts and pictures. Well, after a few hours they had switched all my old phone data over so my new $1000.00 phone looks and acts like my old one. The apps are all missing that i put on my new one, and the format of the new S9+ is completely gone and I have the crappy 4 year old format of the S6 on my brand new expensive phone. I did however get an...Im sorry and you can have your money back. Absolutely horrible. If they woiuld have listened to the 10 times i said only contacts and pictures this would have been avoided. So basically i paid money to screw up my new high dollar phone.....thanks guys.
