Decided to start work out after couple months of quarantine. A really tidy and well equipped gym. Really clean and strictly follow the social distancing and mask wearing rules during this special time. Gloves and masks are provided, temperature checking every time I go which make me feel really safe. Andrew is really professional and caring trainer. Ive been working with Andrew for about a month. He has a well equipped facility, very clean and takes COVID precautions (e.g., no more than 2 people in the space at one time, provides client with medical mask). Andrew knows a lot about adapting exercises to be safe for bad backs. Highly receommend.
I was initially nervous to begin training indoors as gyms reopened during COVID-19, but Andrew immediately set me at ease. He thought of everything: 1-on-1 training (so only 2 people total in the space at a time), masks, temp checks, gloves, sanitizing wipes, nightly cleaning, “gym only” shoes, and more. The studio is pristine and with all the precautions Andrew has undertaken, feels safe.As far as training itself goes, it’s only been a few sessions and I can already feel a difference in my strength and endurance. Andrew introduces new exercises each session to keep things challenging and fresh and is great about responding to specific needs and making adjustments. Highly recommend.
I did a session with Andrew recently and was impressed with all the steps he took for infection control. Only 2 people at a time are allowed in the space. The room and equipment were spotless, and Andrew wiped everything down during the session. He clearly cares a lot about health and safety - as well as fitness!

I’ve been working out with Andrew for about four weeks now and I’m already noticing progress since we began. My goal is not to lose weight, but to build my strength and tone my body. Andrew has been positive and engaging since day one, he plays music, cracks jokes, keeps the environment fun and light. He adds new exercises to our sessions but also understands and acknowledges my limitations. I’m looking forward to reaching my fitness goals with Andrew.
I found it hard to find a trainer I didn’t mind seeing every week. Honestly, I found it hard to stick with any exercise routine for more than 3 months. With Andrew, I ended up increasing the frequency of sessions with him from 2 to 3 times per week and have stayed with him for years. He listens very carefully and picks up on clues when something is off physically, or even personally. He then calmly adapts routines and conversation to fit the situation. With me, he has a slightly nerdy and calm vibe with an all around intellectual curiosity, great sense of humor, and the ability to talk about anything. He seems equally comfortable with silence. In all this time, he has never been a second late for our virtual sessions. His experience and expertise in injuries, especially backs, is not just a sales pitch. I was already a client of his when I fell shoveling and ruptured a disc. His patience, humor, and knowledge got me through recovery. I can’t say I ever look forward to working out, but I can say Andrew makes it tolerable for me by being such a consistently hard-working, knowledgeable, and descent guy who often makes me laugh.

A couple years ago I developed severe back problems after over extending myself bicycling ... so bad that I ended up in the hospital for several days until I could walk again! Since then Ive been plagued with back pain, which has kept me from being active as I would like. This year, I finally made the decision that if I didnt stay fit and active, my fitness levels would continue to deteriorate. That led me to look for a personal trainer, someone who would help me work around my back issues so I could get stronger. Andrews appeal was initially that he, too, had had back problems so I felt he could understand where I was coming from. After my initial workout, I was sold. I felt totally worked-out, but in a good way...it was such a great feeling to move again and feel safe! Theres a great balance of being challenged, but not pushed. Calling up Andrew and setting up an initial appointment was one of the best things I could have done for myself this year: Im sleeping better, my pants have started feeling a little looser, and Im looking forward to getting stronger and healthier over the next year. If there was a complication during an appointment he would absolutely do everything in his power to rectify the situation, especially if it was his fault, he would be the first to admit and fix it. He is incredibly fair with his policy and his main goal is to help you succeed. Whatever your goal may be I guarantee you will accomplish it working out with Andrew. If you are thinking of signing up with him I wouldnt hesitate for a second and please take what Melanie has said with a grain of salt.

I have been working with Andrew Eppinger for a few years now (I was in my forties) and the experience has been terrific. For me, staying healthy was the most important and the work with Andrew was a huge part of that. I used to be a pure runner and I developed injuries over time but Andrew allowed me to become much more balanced and stay injury free. I wished I had started working with Andrew quite a few years earlier. The sessions are also always fun which is an important part of staying motivated in the long run.
Andrew is someone who incorporates the philosophy of training with the right diet. I recently lost 8 pounds with significant drop in my body fat percentage just following his advice in terms of diet and daily protein intake. He is a phenomenal trainer, easily the best i have met.

I have been working with Andrew for almost 4 months now. I came to Andrew with one gym experience in my 50+ years and that one ended in an injury. I knew nothing. I have been training with Andrew Eppinger for well over a year and I cannot say enough good things him & his ability to make me do things that I would never do on my own!! I am a 63 year old female and train with 1 other person. Andrew sets us up on machines, mats or TRX(??!!) and monitors us, individually, gently encouraging us while timing our reps & exercises. He keeps us moving! I travel a LOT, frequently missing weeks at a time. When I return, Andrew quickly gets me back up to speed. I now workout with him 3 times per week, if Im in town. It is the best thing I spend money on, taking care of myself, so I feel strong & healthy, able to enjoy my travels, & extracurricular activities, such as golf! Thank you, Andrew! I have been working with Andrew for about three months. Within the first week, I knew he was a good fit for me. He watches your form to make sure you are doing the movements correctly while also monitoring how you move - where your weaknesses may be and how to make those areas stronger. For example, noticing my abductors were weak while doing squats and working that into our routine that day.Similar to the other reviewers, I appreciate Andrews patience, understanding, and quickness to adjust what you are working on as soon as you say something feels wrong or hurts. I chose Andrew for that reason. Ive had trainers in the past who have pushed me to a breaking point; it is not worth the permanent damage.If you want to get healthy with someone who understands the importance of training safely, Andrew is the best choice.
