DO NOT come here if you have very curly hair. My curls were below my shoulders. I went to get my hair trimmed because my hair was the longest it had ever been and I wanted to keep my length. I left with my curls ABOVE my chin! Years of growth gone, worst salon visit of my life. 😭

Great experience! I came here to get my perm reversed, and the results were amazing! They took the time to come up with a plan to add strength back into my hair and gave me exactly what I wanted! Definitely will continue coming back!!

First time getting a wax, so I was kind of nervous about what to expect. She talked me through everything and it ended up being a great experience.

Reckon hairdresser Polly cuts my hair every two months perfically. If you are regular customer, you can get discounts for products from Pureology and Redkin, Men, she a Reckon artisan, so if you have a specific hair style, ask.

Dena does wonderful color. I like my color and cut. Micah also helped find the right color for me too. Reds can be difficult but they both are good at it. Also nice to have a chai tea while Im there.

I love working with Libby At Hair It Is Salon. She does a fabulous cut and my color is always beautiful! I recommend her and this salon on my favorites list to all my Real Estate Clients, their friends and families.

The place is very clean and pleasant. Staff is friendly and helpful. I got a very nice haircut for a very nice price too. I will most definitely be going back there. :)

I tried to bleach my own hair at home and it turned out to be a fried, banana-yellow, carrot-orange mess. I was so embarrassed I felt like I couldnt even leave my own home. I made an appointment with Kayla hoping she could work some magic and fix my terrible hair. She did such an AMAZING job. She got rid of the orange/yellow mess, gave me a new beautiful color, then gave me a deep conditioning treatment to repair and hydrate my fried, bleached hair. Needless to say, I am never doing my own hair again and that talented woman was my savior.

Sara was really knowledgeable about color and styles. The atmosphere is welcoming.

I had a very bad experience at this salon. I am new to the area, and was looking for a new stylist. I made an appointment with Nicki and looked forward to getting a new do. Unfortunately, I got lost on the way to the salon, and missed the turn, as the online directions say ithe salon is on into Exploration Drive, and the street sign says Exploration Place. I called the salon to get better directions and Nicki answered the phone. I explained where I was, and she proceeded to give me directions. Unfortunately, I had to drive all the way into Lexington Park to make a U turn, since there was no way to turn around before then. As a result, I arrived to my appointment about 10 minutes late. When I arrived, I was met by Nicki, who was not smiling. In fact she was scowling at me. This came as a surprise, as I had never met her before and wondered what was wrong. She proceeded to tell me that she could not cut my hair, since she had another appointment in 30 minutes and for the price she charged, she needed to do a 15 minute consultation with me before cutting it and since I was late, she did not have time to cut it. I told her she could skip the consultation, as all I really was looking for was a cut. She continued frowning at me, with her arms crossed, repeating that she could not cut my hair. She was condescending and I was very embarrassed, as this was all done within earshot of other customers and stylists. I found her conduct to be unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Needless to say, I wont be back!
