Recently we chose New Life Builders to remodel our kitchen and they did a phenomenal job.We had our old 80’s style cabinets replaced, added granite countertops and a ceramic tile backsplash installed. The quality of the soft close cabinets make a world of difference and the ALL wood construction will last for years. From start to finish, New Life made the process very tolerable considering we had to endure the demo, installation, and final touches. The crew showed up each day on-time and made sure to clean up as they left each day. They were friendly and understanding of the fact we did not have a kitchen to use during the renovation. To help and make it easier on us, they made it a point to strategically time and plan each phase of our project accordingly. The quality and craftsmanship of the work will be enjoyed in our home for many years.Thank you for fitting us in during this busy time and doing such wonderful work!!!! I used New Life builders to build a very large composite deck behind my house. I shopped around a lot and got four separate estimates for the job. They were absolutely the best value for the cost. Not only were they able to start work a week early, but their crew was phenomenal to work with, and they completed the job very rapidly (way faster than I thought they would). They were excellent at communicating and making sure my wife and I understood each step and were happy with the progress. I wanted them to complete another job (remodeling a bathroom) but Kenny, the owner was honest with me and told me they could not get to the bathroom for at least four months, so we did not proceed with them on that job. That is called integrity/honesty! We could not be happier with the final product and give New Life Builders our highest recommendation! You cant go wrong with these guys.

I recently had an addition put on my home and it looks awesome! From start to finish, everyone at the company I dealt with was so professional. I hate to say it but, it is almost unusual these days to actually call a business and get someone on the other end of the phone who is polite, professional and knowledgeable. Heather was awesome to deal with, again, refreshingly professional! Throughout the job, Nate was awesome about getting back to me in a very timely manner. I loved his can-do attitude. Kathy was also amazing to work with and always promptly returned my call.During the process my Dad passed away and I had to leave the area. While I was away, we were hit with a big storm and I was concerned about damage. I contacted Kathy with my concern and she volunteered to check on my home. I cant tell you how relieved I felt.I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have work done on their home. I dont usually do reviews but New Life Customs Home Builders truly deserves to be recognized. At the time my house is listed for sale, it turned out that I need to demolish and build a new deck and rebuild the concrete front steps due to cracks. Called several contactors in the area and New Life Customer has far the best price (per my experience) and they were able to squeeze me into their tight schedule. They even helped me complete part of the deck demolition so I dont have to drive back from PA to Maryland. I am not saying they will do this for everyone but they did it for me maybe because I no longer live in MD during the construction process. Also instead of rebuilding just the front step per the statement of work, they decided to tear the entire walkway leading to the steps at NO added cost. Bottom line they did an OUTSTANDING JOB for the best price! I have lived in Lexington Park for 15 years and never met Kenny or Albert before until I needed to hire contractor. This positive review was solely based on my experienced with New Life Custom. 100% WILL RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

We had Kenny and New Life Builders finish our basement including a living space, bedroom, and full bath with shower. Kenny was a great point person and always attentive to our needs and questions, quick to response, and reactive when there were things we wanted adjusted or changed. Many of his sub contractors were great to work with, respectful, and completed what we needed in a timely manner. I bought a house that had a carport converted into a room. It was done poorly. New life renovated that entire side of my house. That room space is now a beautiful master suite. New life also made my kitchen and living room space open concept. Said and done they have made my house my forever home

Crew was very professional. I had a lot of small details on my project that needed to be perfect down to the inch. They exceeded any expectations I had. The work was great and done on time! Highly recommend! I had a small project and budget, but Albert was able to work with me and figure out how to make it happen. Dale and his crew were incredibly professional. I just had a tree fall on our home as a result of a storm, and I will be using New Life for repairs and insurance negotiations.

I had a crew of two come out to my house to do some repair work caused by termites to the front of my garage. The guys were very good, professional and polite. Not only did new life builders do an excellent job on damage that our house had to it but it was a pleasure to have their employees working on our house. In the middle of the construction our family experienced an emergency with one of our children and the two workers working here asked if they could pray for our daughter. They will never know how much that meant to us and we would definitely use them again in the future I want to recommend them to anybody who needs any kind of work done.

3 weeks later and still havent heard anything about our estimate with Albert Jenkins.ItsUpdate:Its interesting how after Ive left this review, there have been no issues getting a hold of us. Multiple phone calls to my husband in the last few days and even two home visits. After we declined the estimate we received in person, we were asked to remove this review. Ive heard two stories about it either being a wrong number or email but nothing prevented you from reaching out after my review was left. Stop coming by my house, stop calling my husband. We arent interested.

New Life Builders did an amazing job transitioning our existing deck into a beautiful sunroom and built us a new deck. Kiddo to Kenny and his staff. They are professional, communication was great stayed within our requested budget and completed the project within our requested time frame. I cannot recommend these guys high enough. They were fair, professional, and responsive throughout the whole project. We had them finish our basement and we couldnt be happier with the final product. It took slightly longer than expected but that was partially do to changes that we introduced and a labor issue with one of his subs. They did everything they could to make up for the lost time. Throughout the process there was a good flow of communication (text, email, and phone calls) which helped put our minds as ease whenever we had a question or concern. Our basement turned out better than we thought it was going to and we have and would highly recommend them. Prices are extremely fair and workmanship is top notch. If you go with New Life you do not need to be worried about being priced gouged or nickeled and dimed during the project for changes (within reason of course). I have recommended them to several of my neighbors and will continue to recommend them to anybody looking for a contractor.Update: we had Kenny come back to install a glass shower door that we had bought. His crew did a phenomenal job with the door and it looks amazing. When I found the door to not be adjusted correctly he promptly came back to fix the door. While his crew was there, they accidentally spilt some red chalk but he hired a professional cleaning crew to have the spot cleaned up. You would never know it happened and I never had to ask about it, he brought it to our attention. Once again I can not recommend him high enough. Top notch and honest. What more can you ask for.
