They were great with cutting our twin two year olds hair which was really over grown with the COVID and social distancing stuff. They did so good! Recommend them over and over again, will be back!

Trash location, with absolutely no customer service skills.I checked in online, for first available barber, at 4:50pm, with a wait time of 23 minutes. I arrived at 5:05 and physically checked in, immediately my wait time jumped to back up to 20 minutes. At 5:30, my wait time had climbed to 26 minutes...all while others that checked in after me and were lower on the list for first available were taken back for cuts. At 5:40 the wait time was still at 26 minutes and absolutely no communication.During my, what should have been 8 minute, wait...I got to hear one barber complain to a customer about having to bartend all the time, as well as what guys she was going to sleep with. I got to hear another complain to a customer about everything imaginable in her life.

First real haircut since pandemic started... great experience... Kendra did great job with the mess that was on my head.

They hire people fresh out of hair school and they do a terrible job and nobody really cares. Plus it’s almost always crazy busy. Last time I. went I had hair in the middle of my head that was maybe an inch long and hair on the side of my head that went down to my jaw.

Wonderful staff who are very good at cutting hair of all lengths. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with a computerized check in system in the front that is easy to use. As a new customer going in for the first time, I was impressed by how simple everything was.

Went to sports clip for the first time today. The staff was very friendly and my stylist took the extra time and helped me through the registration and appointment process. Very professional and patient. Best of all I got one the best haircuts in a very long time.

Decent haircut. Very expensive. Too much to pay to have to listen to all the stylists whine the whole time about the hunting show that they had on being sad. Just change the @&?#! channel. The woman cutting my hair also thought it appropriate to, completely out of the blue, bring up on two or three occasions the fact that an ex used to hit her. Not pleasant conversation.

Good hair day with conversation which included questions that would be answered for me. Really does not matter to me as long as the hair cut was good and good it was! So four 🌟 you get and I will be back when am back in town from San Diego girls. Thank you!

Ive been a regular customer here for well over a year now. I receive excellent service every time I visit. Katie does a wonderful job cutting my hair. There can be a long wait generally, but with the new online check-in feature my wait times have been greatly reduced. I also know when my stylist is working without having to call the store. My only complaint would be the occasional visit when kids are running around and crying during haircuts etc. Is it too great of an expectation to want the noise at a reasonable level when trying to enjoy an MVP experience?

I got my haircut for 4 years every two weeks at this place. Considering my option on base this place was a welcomed change.They do an excellent shampoo of your head after the cut and throw in some fresh product.Very great experience. I left pax but thanks for the great cuts guys

If I could give them zero I would. I just wanted to get cleaned up on the sides until my regular stylist could see me. What I got instead was a haircut no person would want to be seen in public with. Not even an attempt at a fade or blend. I would go elsewhere to a real stylist or good barber.

Always had a good experience here. The staff is great and feel like your neighbors and not just employees with good customer service experience. They do a great job with mens haircuts; Ive only ever had to come back one time for them to fix a missed spot and they were very nice about it and got me straightened out and on my way quickly.

At Sport Clips, as soon as I walked in, I knew I was in good care. The staff greeted me with a smile, and gave me the MVP treatment for the price since it was my first time. I was treated like royalty, and was able to enjoy a good hair cut. So give them a visit, youll love your first time. If they ask, tell them Fitz sent ya.

Im in the area because of work and figured Id get a haircut here since its close to my hotel. I asked for a medium fade on the sides and back and to leave the top alone. It seems like a simple enough haircut but my hair is thick, straight, and is not very forgiving if you dont blend it well.She did not blend it well. I figured Id fix most of it in my room (if theres a chance that I need a haircut when Im away I pack a set of clippers) but pointed out noticeable uneven patches on both sides. She started fixing one side but went up too high which caused me to stop her before she caused any more damage. I took the clippers from her and proceeded to fix the issues myself in front of the whole place. I still left a tip because Im not a jerk but I definitely will not come back.

I am giving three stars because my experience is either 5-star or 1-star. I had the worst hair cut of my adult life, then I came back the next time and the stylist was able to do a repair haircut that was shorter than what I wanted but looked good and helped my hair grow back how I needed.Then the next stylist ruined it.(and gave me a cold shampoo, with a barely above lukewarm towel, and put in a product I didnt want before asking me what I wanted, used, etc.)Ups and down, that are probably going to lead me to look elsewhere. I need to try to remember stylist names, but I wish I didnt have to. Other sport clips are much more consistent.

Asked for a half inch off the top and a medium skin fade.. Im not sure what guys have been telling Jessica but she needs to look at a ruler some time. Fade isnt the worst Ive had though but not worth the money. Ive been here a few times just for fades, but this was my last.

2019: I still go to sports clips to get my haircut. Kelsey is still a great choice.When I moved to Prince Frederick I started going to Kayla who also does a fabulous job.I would also recommend Jessica W.2016: I always go to Kelsey. She takes her time, listens, and does a good job.The massage you get at all sport clips is pointless though.

Ive been in the area for almost 3 years now, this place is was my go-to for last-minute haircuts, but honestly its usually a hit/miss in quality. For a minimum of around $20+, youd expect a nice cut performed by well-trained staff but that seems to be lacking half of the time. After some screw-ups and attempts to fix a haircut gone wrong (barber seemed to have misunderstood my initial instructions), I informed her that it was good as-is after giving up on a lost cause. She then proceeded to cut MORE hair in the initial trouble-areas making it worse in the process. Not even going go into detail about side conversations with other individuals making me feel like they were more important than focusing on producing a good product(haircut) for the customer on the chair. Today will most likely be the last time I conduct business at this place or any sports clips in general(Ive been to a few on the east-coast and im not impressed), there are cheaper alternatives in the surrounding area which produce better quality hair cuts.

Way too crowded. Went in the middle of the week around noon and 1 hour wait! The one time I did get in when it wasnt crowded the stylist totally rushed my cut and didnt even take the time to straighten out the edges. I love Sport Clips but this one treats you like fast food service. Would try one in a different area.

There wasnt much of a wait (5 minutes at most). My son (and I) explained what he wanted. Clean up his neck, 1/2 trim off the back and take his beard to a 2. (His hair is long and his beard is very curly). It looked great but once we got out to the car I noticed a significant spot missed on his neck and whispy hairs around his ears that werent trimmed off.. We went back in and she, without question, corrected it. When we got home, I had to finish the trim around his ears and his neck.Was charged $25 for an average at best cut...and a machine shoulder massage that didnt last 2 minutes. Past experiences were really good so Im hoping this isnt the new norm.*Note, $32 for 2 small bottles of Tea Tree shampoo/conditioner is a bit steep. I bought them but am sure I can find them for less at other salons*

The fact that I have to even give them a star is ridiculous. Ive gone to several Sports Clips that give neck trim with no questions. I was told that I would have to pay $5 for a neck trim that took the lady about 2 minutes. I was then was actually charged $10 at the register in which the lady said, Thats why I told you. The number 10 never came out of her mouth. I will not only never return to this Sports Clips ever again, Ive filed a dispute with my credit card and I will return to a Sports Clips in the state of Maryland ever again.

BEWARE!! DO NOT GO HERE AMATEURS WORKING. I took my son here to get a haircut and I told the lady to give my son a fade 1 on the sides and 2 on the top. Obviously she does not know what the hell that means because she literally buzzed his head. I paid $24 dollars and some change for something I could have done for free at my house. By the way that is a ridiculous price for a haircut. I did not tip her I wanted to say something but it aint like I can grow my sons hair back and have them redo it. Needless to say I will stay away from sports clips. Never Again

I was impressed the first time but sense have got a few more haircuts ans they were not that good at all. They dont know how to take what you tell them and cut your hair that way. I also was recommended something by a stylist to use a product they sell after telling her about my dry/sensitive scalp and after using this it broke my head out in this incredibly horrible rash that was so painful. This was when I went in for a haircut for an interview and I informed them of that. When I went back they blamed me and would not offer a refund or a free cut. WOW!!!! Never again.

I for one have been going to sport clips since they have been open. For the guys and moms who havent had a good experience, well its on the stylist. I for one will not let anyone cut my hair except for Kristina or Katie. They both take their time and listen to what you want. Now I do agree the manager there I wouldnt her cut my hair just because of her attitude.

Today 8/10/15 was my first and last hair cut at sport clips ... Arrived at 9:05 am after my door was open in parking lot I was stepping out when I was almost run over by a stylist who was running late, I walk in 5 stylists there 1 cutting hair 4 talking. Finally I had my turn told the stylist exactly what I wanted my hair cut was uneven from side to side, stubble left on my neck, several hairs on my beard not trimmed btw I get a 1 1/2 trimmer guard. Long story short Im not happy at all. I absolutely agree with the other two reviews - California Sport Clips .......SUCKS .

Easy simple and fast!

Took my son in today for a haircut, asked what the wait time would be as we didnt have much time. We were prepared to come back tomorrow if the wait was too long. Was told the wait would only be 10 minutes so we checked in. 35 minutes later we still hadnt been seen. Now I wont even go back tomorrow.

The stylists can cut hair however, who manages this place? You have a lobby full of customers that have waited for nearly 30 minutes and three stylists go on break at once.

Hit and miss. The wait is always longer than it says on the screen and the stylists have no interest in moving at a faster pace. For the amount of people in here at any given time you would think they would have more people working but it seems like theyre always understaffed.

Never will I go there again. The Manager Female went out of her way not to cut my hair. She had me next and I had to wait 25 minutes before the next person was available. She saw me there too...would get on the phone and talk, talk, talk and I could hear that it was personal stuff. As soon as the next girl called my name...WOW guess what...she called the next person??? Not sure why she did this to me other than me being a Minority!
