Excellent experience working with Michael and team from Big Deal Flooring to get our new carpets installed. Michael came to our home on time, measured the space, and showed us tons of samples of both carpet and pad. After shopping around a bit we felt most comfortable with Michaels estimate and professionalism and decided to move forward. On install day, the Big Deal Flooring crew led by Bernardo arrived on time and completed the job the same day. They were very careful moving furniture around and made sure they cleaned up before leaving. We were very pleased with the overall experience and plan to use Michael and Big Deal for our flooring needs in the future.

I worked with Big deal flooring for replacing the carpet with hardwood flooring in my house in July 2017. The quote provided to me by big deal flooring was decent, so I decided to go ahead get the carpets replaced with hardwood. The quote included hauling away the old carpet, the wood floor and installation. Before starting the job, I was told by big deal flooring that they provide 1 year warranty for parts and labor. After the job was done, for the first month, there was no issues so I gave big deal flooring 5 stars on thumbtak ( thats where i found big deal flooring). But the second month onward, I started to see the cracks in the wood planks that big deal flooring had installed. I texted the main guy from big deal flooring and he replied asking for the pics of the issue. I sent him the pics and didnt hear back from him so i had to reach out to him again. Upon trying to get in touch with him for 2-3 times, he replied back via text saying that he had to go to Michigan for some family emergency and wont be back for a while. Understanding the urgency of the situation, i decided to not bother him. Two months passed and still i didnt hear from him so i decided to call/text him and no reply whatsoever. I even messaged him on thumbtak and I see him getting online and reading the messages but not replying. This is very unprofessional on their behalf and a lot of headache for me as a customer. The problem is that the quality of wood that was used for flooring by them is of very poor quality and everyday i see a new crack developing on the floor. I regret doing business with big deal flooring and been making my friends and family aware that do not get in business with big deal flooring.
