Great service. I especially appreciated the text sent to me of the complete vehicle evaluation, complete with photos and recommendations. They replaced exhaust manifold and O2 sensor on our 2001 Nissan Xterra, in a timely manner and test drove to ensure all was well, all at at a reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend and seek their assistance again.

My AC wasn’t cold anymore. They did a full check of the car even if that was the only issue, and explained in detail and kept me updated of the progress. The air is perfect now and it was cheaper than expected plus professional and very nice treatment! Hope I don’t need to come back but if I do I know they’ll do great again!

I had asked that they just assume the worst case scenario regarding repair of my oil pan leak, and replace the oil pan and not just check for a stripped plug. I simply didn’t want to make a 2-trip repair out of it, and didn’t feel “lucky”. I chose Luper Automotive Inc because of good reviews on Facebook and they didn’t let me down! They were HONEST and told me it was just the plug, saving me hundreds of dollars! I’ve been ripped off too many times in my life and finding an honest company to deal with is a breath of fresh air! And their service manager, Shad, was very patient with me throughout this process! I need more work done and will not hesitate to take my car back to them!! They provide a shuttle service and my driver, who I guess is the owner’s grandson, was a wonderful young man! I couldn’t be happier with Luper Automotive in Lewiston, Idaho!! And they washed my car, too! Yay!

These guys are great. They actually fix your car and wont yank you around. Theyll look everywhere for your part, even scrap yards if youre desperate enough. My headlights were impossible to find so they let me bring them in on my own when I could find them. They found some special screws at a junk yard once and saved me $80. They know your name, and they are good people.

I have been to Luper brothers Automotive at least four or five times in the last year due to various reasons with my cars. They have been very professional straightforward and always include a detailed review of what they have found along with pictures. I have never had a complaint with them. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Luper Automotive was the 7th shop to look at my Challenger. I had a metal clanking noise coming from underneath and 6 other shops spent several hours and several miles trying to find it with no luck. Was given a recommendation from Melody Mufflers to give them a shot and I am beyond Thankful that I did. Not only did they find and fix the noise, they went on a test ride with me so I could point out the noise I was hearing. They picked me up from work and gave me a ride back to their shop to get my car when it was finished. The fix was so affordable and they were able to do an oil change as well. The oil change was about 50 dollars cheaper than the previous one I had done at the dealership. Honest, professional and actually listened to me. They have gained a customer for life. Will recommend them to everyone. Can’t thank them enough.

To be honest I dont know what was going on. I went to Luper Automotive Service to have them work on my vehicle. They were trying to charge me more than I was quoted. When I explained it to them the guy went into the other room and came out a few minutes later. He said he made the adjustment and realized it wasnt calculated right. The charges were still within the same outrageous price. I told him Im not paying for what he was charging and he recalculated it and raised the price even more. I am not sure how they could make 3 different quotes on the same job. = After going through that it left me wondering no matter what I said would it have been the same cost? Who knows. All I know is they will not get my business and if anyone asks me for a mechanic I will warn them first of Lupers to stay very clear from them because I dont trust that they are honest and I will refer them to a better mechanic.

Getting fuilds changed on my drive train on a used truck I bought and they could have did the work but they told me that someone has already has done the training and it was up to me if I still want to do it but it would be a waist cause it has been done already most shops would just done the work and not even told you that it has already been done or jus charge you for the work but lupers told me up front the it has been done I will be going back to them all bring my other vehicles to them to work on

Fast business and they also make sure to call and update you frequently on the status of your vehicle. Labor is well priced, especially considering the speed of their business. I love that they send you a text with all that you need with pictures and videos of why... It is also cool how they give you a red green or yellow light for important aspects of your cars general needs and they explain what needs to be done first and why.

These guys really know what good service is all about! They have highly trained staff in each department, and they even wash and vacuum your car every time they do maintenance or a repair. Very clean facility, very honest. Theyve even told me that I didnt need a big repair done when I thought I might.

I can’t say THANK YOU enough to Luper Automotive! Traveling into Lewiston on a business trip we had brake issues coming down the grade (sounds like we’re not the first!). With only a day in town and no idea what was wrong with our vehicle or if it would make it home safely, we ‘googled’ automotive repair shops in town. Luper had good reviews and was the first place we called. They got us right in to diagnose the problem. Shad did an excellent job explaining what was found, he even took me out to the garage to show me the problem areas on the vehicle. There was NO pressure and NO upselling. I was given information and allowed to make the decisions that best suited our needs. Their mechanic Tim went to work fixing the car, even working through his lunch break to get it completed earlier in the day so we could be on our way! We finished the rest of our business trip and made it back home safely. Being in an unfamiliar town with unknown vehicle issues feels vulnerable and is terribly stressful. Excellent work. Excellent customer service. Took our RAM 2500 here because other mechanics we had tried couldnt diagnose the issue of intermittent start. Luper had it diagnosed and fixed within 2 hours! The cost was FAR less than other places and they vacuumed and washed our truck to boot! This will definitely be our new home for all our automotive repairs.Update: 10/22Truck is still starting up every time. No issues whatsoever. Runs beautifully!
