I was in an out in 52 minutes. I made an appointment. Got there right on time because of traffic. I was seen the moment I walked in. I was greeted professionally. The whole transaction was so smooth. Even picking up my car was easy. I have 4 brand new tires with a warranty for a pretty great price. I am a very loyal discount tire customer. I normally do not go to this location but they had an earlier appointment time. I have never had a bad experience at any discount tire store.

This happened today, they cross threaded my stud, then my tire light wouldnt turn off 3miles out took the car back and they checked the censors and on this same they said that the censor is bad. The technician said well sir its a 7 year old and these go bad. But the other 7 year old censors are good except for the wheel that you all cross threaded the stud??? Now I have to pay for a censor they messed up?? Ive been a customer for 15 years and never once had bad service with discount. I never give bad reviews but this one has to be known because the safety of my family is in discount tires hands. Years of trust and you cant say sorry sir well replace the censor right away after buy ally tires from them!

Called about 45 minutes ago to swap a faulty tire, first guy took the phone off the hook and let me sit there, called again said they didn’t have it and he’d call me right back, 40 minutes later I call the store and instead of just taking care of it spent 5 minutes looking for the guy so he would do it, like he would help, I told him I needed my tire shipped over bc it’s rare and I figured they’d like the heads up, instead he laughs at me and tells me that not enough time (4 days) because they don’t send out product on weekends, “that’s cool how would I know that,” first he tells me they don’t have it, “well it was a faulty tire on y’all’s part, you’re going to have to fix this” then tells me he can have it tomorrow. Seriously a 5 minute call turned into 45 and mocking me? (Edit Idk the first guy but the second who laughed at me and finally helped was Nick)

Excellent customer Service and we were taken care of in a timely manner. Spoke to Chad over the phone who told me what to expect upon arrival. When we arrived we were helped by Jaylen. He was very kind and explained the difference in the different tire grades. He assisted my 17 year old daughter and was friendly and thorough. When you go to a place and the customer service is excellent, I believe in sharing.Thanks for making this a pleasant process.

Was recommended to go there for my new tires and it was the best decision ever! They were super professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They made sure I knew what was going on from beginning to end. One thing that I found outstanding was that the tech came out half way through the service to give me an update of what they had already done and what they needed to finish. He told me my car would be ready by the promised time (3:45pm) and made sure once more that I didn’t have any doubts or questions.My car was actually ready ten minutes ahead of promised time! I definitely recommend this store for all your wheel and tire needs. They are complete professionals 🤩

I barely pulled in there with a flat tire. Unfortunately I had a new job I started in 2 hours. Even though they had people with appointments they took care of me right away with excellent service. Very courteous and polite.. They saved the day!!

I decided to try something different to avoid an unpleasant experience at discount tire. I ordered my tires online using the website, paid for them online, and booked an appointment online. I followed the online instructions to show up 10 to 15 minutes early, I was checked in before my appointment time, my car was on the rack 10 minutes after my appointment time, the tires were off my car within 5 minutes, my car was on the ground 23 minutes after my appointment time. If you use the website and follow instructions, you can have an extremely pleasant experience at discount tire. Thanks to the crew at bandera and 410 for knocking it out, will definitely come back to this location.

Made an appointment on line so as to not wait long, when I got there they said it would be an hour wait. Previously, if you made an appointment in li e they guaranteed a 20 minute wait. Not sure when that changed! Was happy to see that they were able to balance and rotate my tires within 30 minutes afterall. Happy!

4-23-21, Dylan 909 was very courteous and got me set up quickly for a tire rotation and balance. However, a simple tire rotation turned into a 2 hour wait! I did see that the manager catered to a female friend that arrived after me and finished her car before mine even lending her his truck while hers was being worked on. I complained to him and he gave me a made up excuse. Terrible work ethic! Im taking my business elsewhere.

The customer service at this location is really amazing. I was assisted by both Josh and Dylan today and they were both so friendly and professional with their communication. I was in for a flat tire repair and to my surprise - they actually do it for free. I just think you can’t beat the service here. Great guys! Will definitely be back here for future tire purchases.

After buying 4 tires yesterday, I noticed something wasnt right. So today I ask them politely to see why my car was bouncing. The manager took very good care of me and got on the problem right away. He said a mistake was made and they corrected the issue. One tire was facing the wrong way, for the tires I bought are a sport performance tire.

Glad I made and appointment. In abd out within an hour as promised. Great service.

If Discount never changes, Ill never buy a tire anywhere else, and heres why.For over 20 years, Discount Tire has never failed to impress nor failed to over-deliver when taking care of our family and vehicles. Thanks to the guys at this Bandera Rd location and the Tire Damage certificate, my curb destroyed tire has been replaced and Im back on the road.Additionally, my spare donut was aged beyond the recommended lifespan (and several uses) but Discount no longer carried the replacement. I was able to find a replacement at a competitors website. When I checked to see if Discount would install it before I ordered it, and Matt @ the Bandera location went beyond again. He ordered the tire for me, delivered to their location, called me when it was in, and the tire crew had it on in 10 mins.

I was told that my visit would only be an hour, maybe an hour and a half. I waited for about two hours. The employees also don’t know the meaning of social distance, as they never backed up while I was talking to them. However, once my car went in the shop they were quick and treated my car well.

Went to get a single tire changed. was told it would be picked up from a location down the street, then was told it was on the way. 30 minutes later after i asked what was going on they told me my tire was barely on the way. when my tire arrived they worked on 3 other cars that arrived after the fact & pulled the guy working on my tire off to do someone elses car. would not recommend and will never return to this location.

I am waiting for a flat tire repair for 2 hours and counting. I’ve never had this experience before. Understaffed? I’m just glad the people are very nice here.

Their definitely NOT a Discount place on tires, and they charge for putting the tires on. Wal-Mart was ALOT more reasonable with their prices on tires & they did NOT charge to change out tires and put them back on. LOVE my Wal-Mart!!!!

Made an appointment online for 11:15 am. It is now past noon and my car is still in the parking lot. The guy inside says he doesnt know whats going on. Ive seen monkey sh!t fights at the zoo that were more organized than this.

Waited 20 minutes at the air check. Called the store. Josh apologized for noone being out here. Then 10 minutes later waiting. Noone ever comes put. They dont care. Waisted my time. Spend all this money here for nothing they cant do something simple as an air check. Also please have management remind all employees if theyre walking around trying to look busy to acknowledge all customers. Takes 5 seconds.

This is a VERY BUSY PLACE.I made my appointment on line and arrived 20 mins early, and still had a VERY LONG wait.

Drop off my car at 1230 told us to come back at 115 130 waited after words couldnt finger out why they didnt fix my tier yet waited another hour then walk up ask if it was fix yet nope then they told me it would be another hour 😒 then i would be waiting for 3 half hours they told me that 2 other people got put in front of me i ask why they didnt know so i got my keys and left

Finally got wheel sensor lights to stay off.

Just purchased 4 new tires from them and noticed my tire pressure would drop down to about 24 psi and stay there so I went over the tire my self and could not for the life of me find anything wrong. I went in and was given the offer to stay in my car which I liked and then they brought me in right away. I don’t remember the kids name but he stopped at nothing to figure what was wrong. Turns out it was a screw that the head had broken off so it was impossible to find. I’ve never tipped my tire guy but I’m glad I did because he deserved it 100%.

Was in and out this morning in about a hour the guys were fast and friendly

People were very friendly and quick to replace all 4 of my tires.

Took my sons truck in yesterday and service was fantastic and in and out quick. Took my wife’s Explorer in this morning for rotation and balancing and came out with glue from old weights still on the black rims and then found all four were scratched like someone tried using a claw hammer to take the old weights off. Be cautious of using them as they have some great people and others that zero FTG.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE! I was told to come by for a nail in my tire over the phone in run flats. The manager ordered tires for me 1 hour prior to my arrival just in case. I arrive and Lorenzo meets me as I exit my car. They proceed to take care of me like I am staying in the most elegant hotel. I left shocked at how great they are. I am cutting this short but I listened to other techs educate and help customers with enthusiasm! WELL DONE!

Discount tire never disappoints. I had a long nail/screw sticking out of the side of my tire today and I went to Discount tire after work. They immediately told me to park the car so they could replace it. While its true that I bought the new tires in April 2020, they honored my warranty with no problems. A coworker told me that Discount tire wouldnt honor the warranty because of where that nail/screw was located, but he was wrong. They had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. I work on the Northwest side of town, but I live on the Northeast side of San Antonio and they said they were thinking of my safety. I will always be a loyal customer with Discount tire, they have the greatest customer service and my experience was awesome!!!

I had an appointment today at 9:15a for a tire rotation and balance. I was taken care immediately after walking in. I drove out at 9:39am. Thats what I call ***EXCELLENT SERVICE***!

Weird you look at website for tire at local store and they list those in stock or suppose to be. Well, didnt have them so on my way home I stopped at discount - bandera road location. San Antonio tx. Met with Jesse L. and got my tires. Cost is an issue with pandemic so was able to work out the details to keep.cost down. My kinda tire store. You guys are the best.

Long story short, I purchased a new rim which did not fit because of a different hub assembly on my vehicle. Its a culmination of a couple of things but come to find out my mechanic says my left wheel bearing and hub are completely shot. That was the same exact location where an employee at this location tried to replace my rim. Most likely they tried to hammer it on there or something for it to cause so much damage to my wheel bearing. Granted they are old, 10 years old, but the right one is not damaged as the front. Only the left is having to be repaired. 1k bill. Thank you for this, discount.

I made an appointment as suggested by the employee on the phone, got to appointment on time. Made the purchase of two tires and was told to wait in the car (which I prefer to do) however, they didn’t put me in line and I have waited in the car for the past hour. Other cars have come and gone, I called inside the store and asked what the hold up was. They said “oh they didn’t put ur paper work in the right location” WHAT? Seriously if I was not already pressed for time and did not have a bolt in one tire and a screw in another then I would have asked for my money back and would have left already. I did have someone come out and apologize but what good does the do once my gas & time have been waisted. My advice go somewhere else because they don’t seem to have consideration for their customers. I missed work and time is money.!

Made an appointment and when I got here some kid took down my info and was so hard to talk to, as if he didn’t want to help me. Well, don’t come to work if you don’t want to work. This reminds me of the last time I came in and one of the employees thought he would sell me some tires by insulting the condition of the current tires I had. Needless to say I left without purchase. So for the second time I’ve left this location without getting the help I needed. I went down to the Hillcrest Location and within five minutes I was greeted friendly and without attitude they took my tire and assured me they would call when it is ready or if there are any issues. If you want to be treated with respect, avoid Bandera and Wurzbach discount tire.

I made an appointment, therefore I did not had to wait as they worked on my truck right away.

Pretty quick for the amount of customers they were handling. I didnt like that they werent periodically wiping down heavy traffic items...ie door handle.. chairs...charging counter/bar stools.But they did let us stay in our vehicle until they were able to start.Very friendly...

I was really flustered because I noticed that I had what I thought was a nail in my tire and they were closing in 20 minutes. I got there 10 minutes before close and they greeted me with a smile and had me on my way before the shop closed. While I barely waited for my tire to be patched up, a friendly service person showed me some inexpensive, yet safe tires that I could purchase at a later date since my treads were low on a couple of the unaffected tires. He was not pressuring a purchase in any way and I will definitely go back to purchase tires from them in the near future!
