We LOVE Cheryl! She is SO helpful, and she explains things. She helps us really understand how all of the components of our taxes will affect our bottom line each year. She has consistently gone above and beyond to help us! I cannot recommend her enough! She deserves the BIGGEST raise!

Cheryl is rude. Acted like I couldnt talk to her about my own husbands taxes so he could understand it better and hes right beside me giving me permission. Never will go to the one in Lenoir again.

Because since Ive been with H&R BLOCK Ive received none of my tax money, not one stimulus check and have made every effort on my part to get what I am owed or at the very least find out why I have not received anything. I go to my appointments and my tax lady doesnt show up for the appointment on time or even 15 minutes late. Needless to say I have not had a good experience with H&R Block.

I have never had an experience quite like this one. If I could leave less than one star, I would. I will never get my taxes done there and I dont think anyone else should either. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and unhelpful. I signed up for an appointment online, was told it would take a few hours, but the tax professional didnt finish my taxes. In fact, she called me on the telephone (this was supposed to be an online appointment), asked me a couple of questions, and then I didnt hear from her again for a few weeks! She didnt communicate with me at all. I called several times. Left several messages on the online portal. The online portal eventually just locked me out completely. It took them over a month to get back to me and only then it was because I called repeatedly until someone actually answered. Then they told me they didnt have any of the information I sent them (that I scanned in and emailed to them multiple times) and, after all of that, they didnt even do my taxes! 0/5 will not go there again.

I only trust Cheryl for my tax needs every year. She is the absolute best at what she does. Everyone at the office is great but Cheryl is my absolute favorite.

We worked with Nancy Williams at the Lenoir N.C. location and she was wonderful and in the future we will def. Be back to work with her. I wouldnt wont anyone else to help me with my taxes, Im used to doing them online so its always been free greater than by myself however with this being our first time going inside and having them done I figured we would have to wait a long. Of time. However the wait time was very minimal we only waited Max 5 minutes before going back. Miss Williams was very direct caring and straight to the point in getting our taxes filed and making sure that we got the highest refund available. She genuinely cared about our filing situation and what she could do to get the maximum refund for us and our family. Definitely one of the better tax preparation people we have ever worked with and after working with Nancy I dont think I would want anyone else to do my taxes definitely will be going back to Nancy again next year and all the years to follow. Anyone who hasnt had their taxes done yet and lives in the Lenoir North Carolina area I strongly recommend Nancy Williams at the Lenoir location!!!

Nancy Williams did my taxes this year at this location. It was the first time in 6 years that I let someone else do my taxes and it was a great experience. She was kind, patient, and professional and it was $100 cheaper than who I usually do my taxes with. I got the tax return within a week or two, it was much faster than I expected. I will definitely be back again next year!

Since the Franchise Owner Stuart Clark passed away suddenly, this office has gone down hill. They are insensitive and lack the compassion to deal with their long term customers. I have had my taxes prepared there for at least the last 10 years, but no longer will.

H&R Block has prepared my tax returns for over 40 years and I have never had a problem.
