Absolutely horrible!!!!! I had an appointment at 12. Was there earlier. My baby was crying being stuck there for over 50 minutes with not any at the desk, therapist not showing up, and I called the number as well as bule ridge transportation called and no one answered. I even started to doubt myself thinking I was wrong and told blue maybe it was for 1. Nope I found the appointment card it said 12. When I was yelling for someone they must have heard me say 1 because they said its at 1. I showed the card to receptionist and she said no its not she argued with me. And Pam the therapist came out laughing at me and I said I dont know what you are laughing at not showing up for your appointment and can clearly here my son crying for over 50 minutes. I reported it to Medicaid to make sure they dont try and claim they saw me and get paid as well as my daughters future appointment. So they lost two clients not just one. So upset and angry. The whole purpose in needing to go is to get help and better and have a support system not make you sicker and angrier. So unprofessional and a disgrace to allow a child to sit crying for that long just because you both were together talking in the back probably eating lunch . I have pictures of the card, window message and wall message and that no one was at the desk . Yet says to call if therapist is 10 minutes late but no one bothers to answer the phone. I hope Medicaid does a full investigation on them because this is ridiculous to do to people who are in need of help to do this to them and their families. I highly dont recommend them because apparently Im not the only one because theres a sign so they must do this a lot. Therapist are supposed to help make you feel better not worse!!!! Im so frustrated and upset. Do not go or send your kids here !!!

Pamela J. Schultz, a counselor at New Directions, presented to the Catawba county court system, a document. The document was in reference in a custody case. The mother in the case never got a chance to meet with Ms. Schultz and she rarely returned her phone calls. The document in question was one-sided from the father and stepmother but the court still accepted it. This is highly unprofessional and the result was the mother losing custody of her children. If she had heard both sides openly, the out come could have been different.
