We are new to the area and chose Strickland Brothers because they were open early in the morning. It was our first visit here but will definitely not be our last. The service was exceptional, the staff was courteous and informative. My husband is a veteran and we were treated with the upmost dignity and respect. For my husbands military service, we received a 25% discount on our service. It was the best oil change Ive ever had!

All 3 of the gentlemen who serviced my car on 08/17/2021 were awesome!! They very in tune with my vehicle. I even learned I had 2 filters for my vehicle, neither had not been changed since 2017!! Just horrible and I’ve had regular oil changes. No one even offered changing them, but these guys changed both and gave me a discounted rate. I appreciate everything they did for my vehicle. Everyone was super polite and very quick service. I was in and out in 15 minutes or less. I highly recommend these gentlemen!! Thank you all, again 😊

I had to make an emergency stop into StricklandBrothers oil change to see why my car was overheating and the two nice gentlemen looked it over and refilled my radiator with antifreeze and told me what the issue was... My radiator has a crack in it. And they didnt charge me any money what so ever for there services

Extremely fast. Didn’t try to sell me anything that I didn’t need (refreshing). I knew my filter was next to new, so was nice to see them check and say “filter is almost new, don’t Need one of those!”Whole crew seemed very honest and genuine. 5 stars, definitely coming back.

Johnathan Hall gave me the best service Ive had in a long time. Was super fast and checked over everything I needed him to. Mechanics were very friendly also. He deserves a raise, his professionalism isnt often found anymore. Will be a repeat customer for years to come.

Had some problems with my oil cap when I went to get an oil change here (manufactors fault for making cheap plastic parts). The mechanics ended up having to go all the way out to Hickory to get me a replacement cap which meant I had to sit there and wait for them. However, the manager did her best to help make the time go by for me (even offered several times to buy me lunch but I declined). Even though I had to wait several hours, it turned out bittersweet as I was compensated completely not only for the oil change I received that day, but I also received a second free full synthetic oil change about three months later. They even topped my fluids and installed my replacement cap at no extra charge.Long story short, these guys know how to treat their costumers right. Ill definitely be getting all my oil changes done here from now on.

Took my husbands car to be inspected and have the oil changed. They were very fast! Very nice employees! I was done so quickly that I still had time to go to tag office and get lunch on my hour break! Oil change was a little high even after a coupon BUT the fact that I didn’t have to wait long at all and could clearly see the work being done was worth it!

I drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come to Strickland brothers. You don’t have to leave your vehicle and it is so convenient not having to unload 3 children in and out of the car. They always show you the oil and filters before and after and I never feel like they pressure me to purchase anything unnecessary. Plus you get $5 off when you continue to use SB with a convenient coupon on your next oil change sticker. The staff are always friendly and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

Quick oil change! Which was great! I wanted and inspection, but the person who did those was unavailable for the day. I would have liked a tire rotation as well, but the way it is set up makes it seem like they dont do those standard with the oil change. They did not apply the $10 off for Women Wednesdays. The workers were friendly and nice. But one kept complaining about personal matters to the other. I heard his conversation and it just made the whole experience weird and uncomfortable. Overall, it was good. But I wont go back there. But if you are in need of a QUICK oil change. Then this is the place to go.

I visited on 01/13/21 for an oil change, it was completed quickly and the staff was professional, courteous and polite. My only negative concern was pricing, I was shocked when I was told $90 for a synthetic oil change which is twice as much as some garages in the area. I knew Id pay a little more for the convenience and using synthetic, but $90 (with a coupon) just seems a little steep.

They are the best they got a kitten from underneath my car that was stuck. Amazing people very helpful!!!!

The staff seemed very polite and courteous and i enjoyed the atmosphere.However :My washer fluid was filled after I asked them not to.My tires air level was not checked after I asked them to.5 days later and car still smells like burning oil.1 gentleman came asking many questions but did not have his face mask on properly, exposing his nose and mouth.I was told 3 different prices to pay.

Charged $80 for full synthetic oil for 3000 miles and cheated my gf and was surprised my car was a diesel then went got a filter for it and charged her extra. I normally get a 5000 miles full synthetic for less than $50 at precision, they didnt even reset it i had to do it myself, rip off joke

I went in for a routine oil change. They filled up my fluids and checked my tire pressure. I love how quick they are. Josh was the mechanic on my service yesterday and he was very helpful when it came to answering questions and over all easy to talk to while waiting. I liked how I just pulled into the shop and sat in my car. I know they got to be hot wearing masks doing what they do. Its very much appreciated!

Yearly car inspection ----Went to Strickland Brothers on Hospital Avenue in Lenoir, NC to have my car inspected early December 2020. I was met immediately by a friendly young man, named Amadeus, (wearing mask & gloves (all the service people wore masks and gloves) Amadeus quickly took my information, and another very nice young man ask me for my permission for him to drive my car into the service area .. all were very polite, mannerly, friendly & upbeat. I liked this a lot. As a customer I enjoyed this treatment.The inspection was completed quickly, I made payment, I received my paperwork and was told the inspection information had already been sent to the DMV and at my convenience I could go get my yearly sticker.I will definitely return to Strickland Brothers. Amadeus and the other young man rendered extremely good customer service. I felt comfortable & safe.The facility was clean and neat. The interior offices were closed due to Covid-19 restrictions, but there was a really nice clean bench to sit on outside and it was a sunny day, so all was well. Thank you Strickland Brothers for a positive experience and the price was great!

Came in to get an oil change. My husband told them specifically that he wanted a conventional oil change. When it came time to pay the total was over $50. They had done a high mileage oil change instead of the one we asked for. We had to pay for an oil change we didnt want. They also didnt check the air in the tires or the fluids. They acted like they didnt know what they was doing. Very disappointed in my visit most likely will not be back. Also they had the old owners number on file for the vehicle.

I hate leaving negative reviews but its kind of important to make sure you all figure out what is going on with your car inspections. The oil change I got here last year went well. This incident was over two weeks ago but I just got a chance to add this. Stricklands sent me to get my exhaust system fixed after failing it and my nearly new windshield wipers. I have a 2017 car so was not expecting this! Then a local muffler shop told me that my exhaust system looked nearly new. They knew without me telling them that I had come from Stricklands because it wasnt the first or even second time it had happened. I went to White Tire Center nearby and the car passed inspection. I think its important to have a car pass emissions tests so I was not looking to get away with anything! Not sure what might have been happening, but hopefully you all get it fixed.

I recently purchased a newer Jeep Wrangler and needed an oil change. This was my first time going to the Strickland Brothers. I just want to say that these guys were completely awesome. They were very thorough, quick and professional. I think it’s great that they offer a drive-thru service, especially with Covid going on. They were very respectful and wore masks as well. He topped off several of my fluids, and showed me my dip stick so that I’d know it was full. He also offered to walk me through resetting my oil life indicator. Usually after I get an oil change I’m always doubtful that the mechanics actually checked all of my fluids, but these guys with Strickland Brothers were so thorough. This was the quickest and easiest oil change I’ve ever had. They will have my business from this point forward.

Such an improvement over previous proprietor at the Lenoir location. Customer service was top notch, friendly and efficient. Joseph was so pleasant and really seemed to enjoy his job. When asked about his attitude he spoke more about his regards for his team than himself. Definitely an outward focused individual. Will be taking both vehicles to this location from now on.
