I had an dying system I wanted replaced. After getting an outrageous quote for average equipment from four seasons I called these guys. Eric came out the next day to do my quote. He provided me four options all of which were much cheaper and with better equipment and options. Im having duct armor installed to my in-slab ducts and needed to get access to the plenum so Eric had a custom access box fabricated to install the new system on top of which gives me the needed access!Install day was smooth. Tim, Brad and Marco all were great, on time, and very respectful to myself and my property. The workmanship of the install was top notch and all of my questions were answered.I felt like I was in good hands throughout the quote and install. I highly recommend them!

Eric and his team installed a new Furnace and AC in our home (Dec 2020) after our secondary heat ex-changer started leaking on the furnace so we figured it was just time to replace everything. I ended up getting 4 quotes from various installers in the area and ComforTemp was the most reasonably priced. Each vendor gave me different sizing, but Eric was the only one who did load calculation. He was very upfront about what was being offered and provided an easy to follow page of equipment options in 3 price ranges. I do enough research to know what I am getting myself into, Eric was super helpful in answering all my questions and concerns.Down sizing the furnace and moving to a 2 stage unit was just the ticket. This is the best our house has felt since weve lived here. The longer run times have been super helpful.The guys doing the install were super friendly, had no issues with my questions, and did a stand up job on the install. Had an old furnace Byrant furnace with the rollout switch kept tripping and bad exhaust smell. Pulled the blower and sure enough the secondary element starting to rust through. Called the company that installed it 18 years ago and got a quote over the phone. Seemed very high so I decided to get other quotes. 2nd quote the person came to my house, checked everything out and wrote up a quote which was much better and seemed like a good company. 3rd company was ComforTemp who I wished I called in the first place.Was blown away by the whole experience. Took a few pics of my furnance and AC and they sent over the quote. Wasnt just something written up on paper, but it was a link to model numbers, pictures, details and get this... Options! Good, better, best and I like that approach.I had a few conversations about what I wanted and my priorities. I like a high efficiency furnace, but the AC doesnt matter that much as I dont use it a lot, but I did want it as quite as possible because of location to a door. Bingo, more options. No pressure. I even added an electronic air cleaner that I was debating whether I should or not. Reduced sneezing in my house down to almost nothing. Also added the Ecobee5 thermostat. Already had a wi-fi enabled one, but glad I upgraded as this one is so much better.The company will help you with the ComEd, Nicor and any manufacturer rebates and will indicate which ones you apply for and which they will. This hands down was the best service Ive had in 30 years of owning a home and no wonder why they have so many 5 star reviews. Not on Angies List yet which is why I almost missed out.

In the summer when it was over 100 degrees and I had a 7 month pregnant wife, the AC went out. We called ComforTemp and they were out in an hour and repaired the issue. Then this winter when it was under 20 degrees, the furnace went out and we have a 3 month old baby. Once again we called ComforTemp and they were at our house in 10 minutes and had the heat fixed in half an hour. This is a great company and their value is great. What I thought would be thousand dollar issues were fixed for less than $400 total combined. I dont understand how this company is getting a high rating?! I called them, and I watched my service tech Marko fumble with his tools & look confused on how to repair my a/c unit. I normally dont write reviews but in this instance I had such a good experience I feel compelled to. On one of the hottest days of the summer our AC failed. Within an hour of calling, the technician was at our home and working on the problem. I am the type of person who wants to understand what the issue is. Marco fully explained what was happening and fixed it right away. The solution was a relatively easy one and because he didnt try to make it more complicated and expensive, I trust this companys integrity enough that I bought a maintenance plan from them. After 3 years of our furnace randomly shutting off, several heating contractors replacing assorted parts, cleaning, and servicing, and the problem continued nearly monthly. We own an office condominium that is for sale. Upon inspection of the roof HVAC unit, it was discovered that the heat exchanger had a large crack in it, requiring that the unit be shut down. Eric was scheduled to come and service our air conditioner between 8-11. He texted at 10:10 that he was on his way. When he arrived, he was wearing a mask and was very friendly. My furnace was pushing 24 years old and when I had ComforTemp come and inspect it, Tim let me know that the heat exchanger was starting to crack. I worked with Comfortemp and they found me a great replacement unit at a very decent price and I was able to get everything financed for the best interest rate out there, 0%. We scheduled the install for the following day and Tim and Marco arrived right when I was told they would. They were both professional and courteous, took the time to answer any questions I had, and the job was finished before the evening. They cleaned up the mess, explained the new thermostat and made sure everything was as it should be before they left. ComforTemp exceeds in their customer service and Tim and Marco are two of the best installers I have ever met.

They were quick to get us on the schedule for repairs. Our technician was knowledgeable, friendly, explained everything he was doing and what he was noticing, and he was quick with his repair.

Tim with ComforTemp replaced my old furnace. He was thorough, professional, and answered all my questions pertaining to the new heating system. He even took a marker and put the size of the new filter inside on the furnace door. He then marked which screws I needed to undo in order to change the filter!!. Very nice touch, especially for me as a senior citizen or for anyone in fact... who can ever remember their filter size? I will definitely be requesting him next time for my maintenance.

We had a Bryant AC unit that served us well for 15 years but stopped cooling due to condenser failure. Because our system is older and the EPA has shifted the refrigerant standard to R-410A this meant that we needed to replace the condenser outside and the evaporator coil, located in our attic, for compatibilitys sake. We were having issues with our furnace when the weather was about to turn very cold. Eric came right away and got our old furnace running for long enough to replace our old furnace and air conditioner and not freeze. Tim and Brad installed our new furnace and air conditioner. My AC froze on memorial day and comfortemp was the first to respond. They came out the same day no questions asked. Eric charged the system and injected some dye to detect a leak if need be at a later date. Eric was very friendly and professional and explained what the problems could be.It unfortunately froze again due to my coil leaking pretty bad. Again they came out same day. I ended up replacing the entire unit and comfortemp gave me a fair deal and after talking to both Eric and Marko to go over my options I trusted they were a company I could trust.Marko did the install and was very professional and friendly. Great response time, good pricing and excellent service. Now I know who to call when I need HVAC service or replacement.Our furnace was out on Saturday afternoon. He gave us an estimate and had a tech come out the next day to install a new unit! The tech Brad who installed our new unit was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. He made sure everything was working properly and answered any questions we had before leaving. I highly recommend this company! The exceeded our expectations. I will definately use them again in the future!

Amazing, simply Amazing. Of course in this heat (95*) stuff happens. My a/c for our upper level bit the dust at 7PM, and I sleep up there.Googled Lemont IL Hvac Servicers, Comfort Temp and a few others were listed. Reached a live answering Rep, and I told her my issue. She said I would get service within the hour and Eric would be the Technician. One other company had answering machine, bad for them, good for me.I couldnt believe it, on a Sunday at 7;00 PM before the Holiday. Eric was here at close to 8:00 PM and almost less then an hour. You are my Guys from this day forward. Eric is courteous and Knowledgeable.What a great guy, knew what he thought was wrong, and detailed my issues. Meanwhile It was 90* upstairs. We had working A/C within an hour. Eric was friendly, courteous & very knowledgeable.Needless to say I cannot express my joy when Eric said everything was repaired and A/C is cranking.
