From the get-go Esteemed Movers was fantastic. I appreciate their extremely professional scheduling, clear contracts, quote, and policies.Their movers were very careful with my things, and very attentive to not scratching walls and floors— for a few large pieces and tight spaces, they stopped to think carefully and make a good plan first.I had a few change-ups with furniture and rug placement, and they were great about trying some changes with me and making sure I was happy with everything.Would hire them again in a heartbeat, and happy to refer them.

Esteemed movers had high star reviews and came highly recommended. Unfortunately, my experience was not in line with these recommendations. This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. I booked 3 people for my move and confirmed multiple times (including two days prior to move) that I had a small, upright piano to be moved. On the day of the move, only two movers showed up. They said they were short because one guy called out sick. Later on, they slipped up and admitted they’d gotten a bigger job, so sent the guy there instead. The two movers that showed up were clearly untrained. They didn’t lift a single thing and instead moved it all with handcarts/dollies – down a flight of stairs and then up 1-3 flights of stairs. Because of using handcarts, they damaged multiple items (see pictures – bookshelf, hutch, chipped paint/drywall, dents in walls, etc.) as the carts banged against each stair not only damaging carpet and stairs, but the items on the handcarts. I’ve never had a moving company use handcarts for anything other than major appliances. They also would disappear for 20+ minutes at a time, took almost two hours for lunch and charged me for the whole time. Worst of all, they tried to tell me they couldn’t move the piano because they didn’t have enough people. After getting it down to the truck, they asked me to arrange for someone to help at my new place. When they unloaded the piano at my new place, I walked outside to find it standing on its side in the wet grass. They then proceeded to tell me that they would need 4-5 people to bring it in and would leave it there until the company could arrange for more people to come another day. I told them this was unacceptable and they said they would wheel it to the garage and hopefully move it by Sunday (4 days later)! I explained that a piano cannot be on its side like that and this is not what I booked. Eventually, my father (senior citizen aged) offered to help as that is what they originally requested. They kept the piano on its side and pulled the handcart up the stairs, banging each step along the way. When they put the piano in place, they noticed they’d damaged it and acknowledged they’d caused the damage. Later on, when it came time to pay the bill, they offered to waive the “piano moving” fee because of the damage. I requested to speak to the office because of the additional damage, fewer number of people and extended breaks, etc. The office didn’t answer my calls (and have not returned them) and would only speak to the movers putting them in the middle of it. It was obvious the movers were not trained and needed some sort of supervision. I am extremely disappointed in this company and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I shouldn’t have to pay because you overbooked your team and clearly sent untrained people to my move. The piano has been moved multiple times up and down flights of stairs by two people and they’ve always carried it and never used a handcart. I had this exact furniture moved (and more) a few years ago and it took two people less than 4 hours – similar flights of stairs, etc. and it took these two 9.5 hours because of using the handcarts for everything and taking so many breaks. Do yourself a favor and skip this company.

I moved a small office from San Carols to La Mesa in early July. The Esteemed Movers crew were at my old office when they said theyd be there. They efficiently packed up and moved furniture and artwork, and delivered everything to my new office, placing everything where I asked them to. They certainly took much of the stress out of the move.

This was hands down the best moving experience I have ever had. Cody, Andres and Javier were so awesome, friendly and knew exactly what to do. I really appreciate how responsive and organized their service was among other things such as showing up on time, we’re quick to pack up my furniture but also wrapped everything so nothing got damaged. I had some very bulky and heavy furniture including an elliptical machine and large couch, no problem for these guys. This stood out to me because as she mentioned, every move is different and may have more to consider than what most companies send in general quotes.On the call, all of my questions were answered, we requested materials, got an estimate and were pretty much good to go. We ended up paying what we expected and had no surprises.On the day of the move, the crew was awesome! Kevin, Jose, and Anthony loaded the boxes we packed and got everything into our house in 8 hours! We thought it would be a 10-hour move but the team hustled and kept a good pace.They came fully prepared with door and floor protectors to keep our new home scratch-free. I connected with Esteemed movers and they had someone to my house an hour after our first contact. The guys that came were super cool and hard-working. Our moving team was Ricky Andres and Havier. They arrived on.time and in good spirits on a scorching hot day. They worked tirelessly for 11 hours to finish our move. I am beyond impressed with their teamwork and dedication. Kevin and Jose were very professional and handled my sofa with care. From the time they arrived until the sofa was returned to Costco, they were 100% involved. Costco has a delivery service called Go Share but they revoked my account as I put in a complaint that they had bent the mechanism and I had to pay for both the return and delivery again. I will ALWAYS call Esteemed as the owner Sharon is more than helpful.Consider them when you buy a large item but dont have any way to get it home!

Called to get quotes and they have competitive pricing. they emailed me the contract and everything matched with what was said over the phone. Booking was easy as well. The movers called me the morning of my move to let me know they were on their way. They got here and packed my apartment so fast. Nothing was damaged or broken. Even made the unpacking easy by the way they boxed everything. Anthony and nick were awesome! I appreciated their hustle and efficiency. Highly recommend

We were referred to Esteemed Movers by our realtor. We were happy to hear that it is a Veteran owned company and that they offer a Military discount. My husband is currently Active Duty so this was nice! Kevin and Sharon are both really nice. They came out to do an estimate and told us how many movers and how many trucks we would need for the amount of stuff we have. I should have listened to their suggestion for 4 guys and 2 trucks, instead I opted for 3 guys and 1 truck. They had to make two trips, BUT they got the job done. Everyone is nice and they kept us informed throughout the whole process. Sharon and I shared some good laughs as we found out we had some things in common. She was there for support and made sure I was okay especially since moving can be very stressful. At the end, they gave us a housewarming gift, which was very thoughtful.Overall, my experience was great. I would use them again in the future.

Communicated early and often about pre- move walk through, scheduling, arrival and delivery times.The day of they called ahead, arrived on time, loaded all of things carefully, dismantled our furniture (and then reassembled them at our new home). I had a great experience with Esteemed Movers! My family has been carefully socially distancing for so long and we were not sure what a move would look like in the heart of a global pandemic. From Mike and his crew arriving punctually in full personal protective gear, I was really put at ease. They used all new boxes and moving materials and were so careful with my belongings. Being a military family we have moved a few times and no other crew was this friendly or well-orchestrated. Highly recommend this company.

Called them last minute to get some help moving my whole house. They got me on the schedule, it was quick and easy. The Mover assigned to help me with my move got sick the night before my move....the OWNER of the company filled his position. We were done in a few hours it felt like I was working with someone I’ve known for years.

I was in need of movers after the company I hired failed to show up the day of the move. After trying to contact the company with no luck I got into contact with Kevin. He informed me he had 1 available crew left for the day and he would dispatch them to my residence as soon as possible. When the crew arrived I was greeted right away by Keith and Mike. After such a stressful morning and worrying my move was not going to get done or I was going to have to go and find a truck to rent and friends to help me on such short notice. Keith and Mike made the day and the move so much better for me all my stress went away as soon as them guys started doing what they do best. Keith and Mike were such professionals and kept me informed with everything they were doing. All of my belongs got from point A to point B with no problems. I am extremely grateful for Kevin dispatching me such a great crew and want to thank Keith and Mike for being such upstanding gents. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to all my family and friends.
