My mom is a MT and she always told me not to go to one of these because of how they underpay their staff. In town on business I came in and everyone was polite and the facility was clean. The quality of the massage was so so, definitely have had better but definitely was not the worst. The therapist was professional and did their best to meet my request of deep pressure. It is a solid place to go if you are looking for a clean and safe massage.

I was pressed and in pain. I gave in and visited ME. I know its a coin toss. You can get a great massage or a not so great massage. My issues are: the front desk person wasnt aware of HIPAA protected info and spoke loudly in the lobby. Next, my mt had his heart in the right place but it was okay, and last the same front desk girl rattled off her pitch in a rapid fire fashion. The pitch was rehearsed and didnt incite trust. Perhaps the franchise should pay people more so that they can recruit top notch folks.

Great staff. Super friendly. Clean and new office. I belong to their monthly club and come regularly. I have always had great massages! My husband and I even did a couples massage on our anniversary. Parking is easy and it’s in a less congested area than the others.

This one of the smaller Massage Envy’s I’ve been too, not much space while you wait. Overall great location and easy to fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Joseph, he’s amazing deep background in experience for massage therapy and facials, eager to share his knowledge and recommendations. Make you feel 100% comfortable. Also if your looking for deep tissue he’s your guy!

The person giving my massage did a good job but something in the room smelled kinda musty. It was hard to fully relax because I was trying to deep breathe deep. Kinda overall glad to walk out and breathe fresh air. Ruined my gift card lol. I wish I would have had a better experience for my first time at a massage envy.

I have had a membership to this Massage Envy for over a year now and it has been the best investment I have made in a long time. I stand a lot at work and I rely on the massage therapists at Massage Envy to take care of me. My back has never felt better and my mom keeps complementing me on how good my posture is. I also heard that getting regular massages is good for your blood flow. I am all about improving my health in any and every way possible!

The massage therapists at this Massage Envy location are very talented and kind. Ive been getting massages here for a few months now and am never disappointed. Ive even been bringing my friends with me and we all get massages after work. Its the best way to relax after a long day. The pricing and packages they offer are very reasonable too. Id like to give a big shout out to the massage therapist Nick! I try to see him every visit because he is amazing. He listens to my concerns about wanting gentle, medium pressure massages and provides a great treatment every time. In addition to relaxing, my massages with Nick have also improved my performance at the gym. The massage work out and break down those adhesions in my muscles and now my mobility has improved so much. I highly recommend seeing Nick and checking out how your body can be healed :)

Why would you go anywhere else if you are looking for a top notch massage in Lemon Grove?? Massage Envy is so convenient and they make it so easy to schedule appointments, I couldnt imagine dealing with another massage parlor that doesnt have online scheduling. Not to mention all their massage therapists do amazing work.

The Lemon Grove Massage Facility is incredible and a very peaceful place. I have been coming here for two year and will not go anywhere else. The staff is friendly, caring and courteous. By far the best customer service and massage therapists at any Massage Envy location in South San Diego County. I drive all the way from North Park to come to this location just because it is that much better. Easily the best massage in Lemon Grove. 5 stars all around!

I come to this Massage Envy in Lemon Grove all the time for their massage therapy and also their stretching services. I work construction and my body relies on this physical therapy I’m order to keep going. I don’t like taking pain medication so I am grateful to have a place like this so close to my work to keep me feeling 100 percent.

I signed a contract with these guys at 18 because they had a deal. Basicaly instead of paying like $125 for a walk-in massage you pay $65 for 12 months for 1 - 1hour massage for each month. Looking back at it now, its a RIP off of course plus they raised the price to $75. Different masseuse do different massages. They all know how to give massages but there are clearly better ones, but none of them (except like 4) are worth the hour service.

I have been to couple massage Envy but I was truley impressed by this location.First thing i have noticed was how clean the facility is and getting greeted by warm welcome from the associates. I had a appointment with Joseph, he was phenomenal. Best thing about Joseph is that he is attentive and competent. I will only come to this massage envy.

I saw an ad on Facebook for an upgrade on their facial treatment if I brought in a friend. I called up my best girl friend and we decided to do a little pampering last Friday while our kids were in school, so we set up a facial appointment. It was so therapeutic, my skin has never felt better! I will definitely be coming back again soon! I hope they do a massage promotion at some point!

Great massages however their vip plan is a bit over priced for only one massage a month. Need to adjust that whole deal should offer more then one a month for$ 60. Also the esthetician working at this location is amazing and very knowledgeable about the products. Great person good energy from her.

I have come to this store a couple of times and enjoyed it every time! The front desk service is great, I was helped immediately and they really took the time to understand what I was looking for in order to match me to the right therapist. They also recommended me to try the aroma therapy oils and hot towels, which were super relaxing and calming. I have to say that I loved the massage from Joseph though! He was really good at his deep tissue massage and knows exactly how much pressure to apply. If you are looking for a massage that releases some serious knots, he is your man!

I enjoyed my deep tissue massage .It was one of the best Ive had except that i was very sore the next day but was told that its normal. Other than that everything else was great.

The Lemon Grove location by far has been the best experience for me. I have been using massage therapy for many years due to sports injuries from long ago. My therapist Joseph shared with me about sports massages and stretching techniques and it has made a huge difference in my recovery. Joseph is incredibly knowledgeable in treating muscle spasms, reduced range of motion and also is very experienced as an esthetician. I am so glad I joined up as a member and it has been the best decision for my overall care!

Couldn’t ask for a more thorough and professional massage. I decided it was a good idea to work out for the first time in 6 months and I forgot to stretch. The next day I could barely get out of bed. I immediately scheduled a massage so I could recover. I felt amazing afterwards. It was like going from 1% charge to 100% in under an hour.

Despite the awful reviews my husband decided to book me a massage and a facial. 20 min before my massage we had to cancel due to the fact that my daughter has a medical condition which can spike at any minute and it requires us to take her to the ER.We spoke to crystal and she said that she would have to charge us 100% even tho I did not receive any service. She provided us with the owner phone number and told US to call him. And she started helping someone else.My husband called the owner and he said that he would have to charge us the whole amount and that everyone has emergency on a daily basis. (He didn’t even care that my daughter had to seek medical attention) I then proceeded to talk to him and he the OWNER had the audacity to hang up on me. This is the lowest customer service I have ever received my whole life. An OWNER hanging up the phone saying that he had better things to do. My kind husband gave him the benefit of the doubt but now a day people have no morals. I would NOT be coming here ever. And I hope that no one has to ever deal with him. It’s clear that they only care about the money. This place will not go very far this way.To be clear *** husband booked on the phone and no one explained cancellation policy at any point. I can give you date and time when the call was made in order to pull the entire conversation***

My sister went here and I drove her. Her wait was a bit long. They were friendly enough. Maybe because its a chain massage place, I just felt like she was just a number. Plus she had a Groupon, so we figured lets try it. We are always open to new places, the price was right. Massage was alright too. But still not sure if Id make it my go to massage parlour. I like the small local businesses a lot more. But like I said the price was right.

I love massage envy! I have been a member over 3 years and it has changed my life. Amber Walker is the best massage therapist EVER. I see her on a weekly basis and she has completely cured my migraines, neck pain, back pain, hip pain, arm pain, leg pain. MY ALL OVER PAINS!! She is so gifted it is unreal. I really like this location the front desk staff are super friendly and they have a punch card program which is a plus. This location is the best because Amber works here:)

Lots of people don’t know Massage Envy offers skin care treatments, but you are really missing out! I come to Massage Envy for all of my facial treatments. They also offer great social media deals so make sure you follow them on Facebook.

This place is a mess! Im advising Before they force the membership on you be sure to read EVERYTHING! we were told we could share our membership with anyone. now we are told that at the time of signing up, that policy was not in; so basically they are calling us a liar !? How could we know about that as customers? Now, supposedly we can share (with their new policy) however, there is a $10 fee along with what we are paying monthly. So they take a monthly fee of ($60) plus u have to pay extra. And to top it off u cant get out of the monthly payment. It is true that before u sign to anything READ EVERYTHING THE FINE PRINTS EVERYTHING. they are so eager to trap ppl, they did not explain what u are really signing to they make it seem so easy and enticing. Its been hell with them can I add that we are trapped with monthly payment for 1 year ! Need to take them to Court.

First I made a call because according to the Massage Envy website they said they do massages for treatment of Carpal Tunnel. I called and the front desk had no idea what I was talking about, so I decided to drive there and it was around 7:20 hoping Id get a better answer in person, which they found one and I was in so much pain i was hoping to get some relief, ending up to find out they said they dont have any available slots. Nobody was there, the rooms were pretty empty and i was hoping theyd help me out since I was like in so much tension due to the fact Im taking prednisone and had a stressful day because my brother was at the ER. So I felt like I didnt get the best first impression at all.

Joseph is really good. I highly recommend him to anyone . I go to him every chance Im in San Diego

This review is for the owner of lemon Grove Massage Envy. Please have a professional Murad facial. I have used murad products for 30 years and had facials in his office in Los Angeles. The facial I received on November 2, 2018 was the absolute worst Facial I’ve ever had in my entire life. No steam, no extractions and no facial massage. Lynn barely touched my face. And the biggest problem is I had to pay for it. After telling the front desk all they said was would you like to leave a gratuity and make another appointment. I just was in the day before and had a massage by Jennifer which I left a five star review. Please don’t leave me your phone number to call because I know you won’t do anything about this.

Therapist was pleasant, however the office personnel leaves me with a sour taste for this place. They have no office etiquette at all. They have no clue what is going on and make you feel like your the idiot. They flat out lied to my face and when confronted with the proof tried to turn things around to be my fault. I definitely will not be going back to this place. .Im an office Manager, my suggestion to you owner of this establishment is get people who know how to deal with your customers and speak clearly to your customers not down to them..

I had several massages in the past few months; all were very excellent, they ( Nick, Ruby, Gabe, Hagley ) massages with stretchs; they reviewed my profile and followed them to my instructions; what I required done concerning pressures and areas I needed most; my estheticians had Stephanie and Natasha were excellent pressure and relaxing with the amount of time; I enjoyed very much; they also followed my instructions to my protocol; what I prefer to have done; cleanliness of establishment as I entered was very neat; receptionist as I came in greeted me VERY professionally, friendly as well

This place is awful. The only reason I went for a year is because I got sucked into a membership. My very last massage was for this evening. I missed it because I got into a car accident. But does a place that promotes wellness care? No, not one bit. Fully charged and told oh, ok; you cant reschedule, you have to book a new one. After one year of being a customer, not even an are you okay? The only thing that made this place worthwhile was Naeda, and shes been gone for months.

Wow! I went in this past weekend for a massage and facial and had THE BEST experience! Ive had many massages and facials and have been to numerous massage envys. This location has by far the best customer service and therapists! The front desk staff was so welcoming and reccomembed one of their aromatherapy oils as I mentioned I had a headache. The massage therapist gave me exactly what I needed and even used relaxing hot towels. My facial was also amazing, the esthetician took the time to really listen to my concerns and my skin looks and feels so incredible! I will definitely be returning to the Lemon grove massage envy for my future massages and facials!

This place is garbage, they will tell you everything you will want to hear and not follow through with it. The quality of massage is a hit or miss, for which the membership wouldnt be worth it. The membership only gives you a one hour free massage for the month and about $40 any hour after that during the month, for which you can get at any decent massage places, the difference is that you pay them $20 per month just to be a member. After I cancelled my membership due to a military obligation for 2 months out of country, I still paid for the last month and was promised to get my free hour massage after coming back. What they dont disclose is that after cancellation any existing items they owe you are not redeemable after 60 days. I have met the owner of this establishment in the beginning, he is a good salesman but lousy at customer service. Overall, this particular owner/shop is overrated and over priced. You will be better off going to any Happy Head Massage.
