Great gym. Highly recommend. I have two attending tumbling class. The coaches are excellent and really care. On multiple occasions coaches have pulled one or both of my girls after class to give them extra one on one and attempts to complete a skill or technique. Great coaches come from great leadership/Management. Many times they are on the floor too help out, whether after class or pulling a student from a station to give extra help so they can excel. I would also recommend the preschool. The teachers are so good with the kids.
My daughter has been here for about 6 months, doing level 1 gymnastics 2x/wk. They recently increased their prices by $15/mo which is a crazy increase at one time, so I trialed a few other tumbling/gymnastics places around me and this is by far the best. The other places had no structure, most of the class was spent scrambling on what to do next with no real direction. Jump Up has a strict curriculum, pass offs monthly so they are actually working towards something, and great coaches. We will be staying despite the crazy price increase.
We have been in the Tiger Tots program since Nov. my daughter has experienced two coaches mostly as we switched days but she has also had time with two others as well. The program here is great!! Kids warm up, go to bar, floor and then each week we switch off for balance beam or vault and then a game at the end. This class has taught her more than just the skills to control her body, it has taught her patience and how to take turns. Granted she is still 2 and sometimes she has off days but she has come a long way since her first classes. Also I love how supportive they are of me as a parent with a newborn that comes along. So thank you. We will be continuing to come and just wanted to review our support!
Not a great place to work and I wouldnt suggest it. Some of the employees dont seem to care to correct form or some mistakes I see some children making. The managers often gossip about their employees. Its difficult to find a sub for classes considering the majority of the workers are high school students and never respond to any texts. It was a fun job, but I was tired of people talking about me behind my back and being paid the same as someone doing the bare minimum.
I do the tumbling here and it’s amazing. I’m in the intermediate class on Monday’s each week from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. I have 5 coaches each week and the ones I get each week are SO KIND!!!! They help you get better faster. My one and only complaint is:The bathroom is not very sanitary. The floor feels dusty and 1 of the stalls won’t lock properly. But if you go to the restroom before you leave your house to come, then you won’t have to use it, and I rarely use it.
We had a great experience with Jump Up. My daughter enjoyed her tumbling class and increased her skills. When when we needed to drop her class for personal reasons, it was easy to call in and cancel over the phone. And they refunded the month of tuition I had already paid. Super easy to work with. I would highly recommend Jump Up!
It is a great place to have your children get energy out and strengthen their muscles and coordination. They are creative and the leaders work wonderful with the children. My son was in the tiger tots gymnastics for children under 3 years of age and he loved going and it gave it a fun chance to interact with other children and experience new levels of physical learning. Its super close to my house which is great. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
My kids love coming here for gymnastics. I have the weekly class and my daughter in their preschool program. Their preschool is AMAZING! They learn and teach them a well balanced curriculum and its a good price. The instructors dont yell like this other reviewer says, I have been there for many classes because my other daughter is in the mommy and me class and the instructors are so nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone, and its a good price!!
This place is terrible. Don’t waste your time. I would give it zero stars if I could. They cancelled my sons class with an email that went to my junk folder. They couldn’t be bothered to call me and the other 7 parents in the class. Also it’s very dirty and they were totally unwilling to amend their new schedule that they made without any warning.
The place is dirty especially the glass windows where parents should be able to look at their kids. Theres is one teacher per class with too many kids. I dont think that they put enough attention to all kids because of their class size.
I have a daughter in level 5 team and another in the rec. gymnastics program, I love the progression they teach my kids and how personable the coaches are to each kid!!!!
So, Im giving Jump Up 3 stars because my daughter loves coming here. She does the preschool program and she loves her teacher, who is very nice and she has enjoyed doing the gymnastics part. The office on the other hand.. could use some better people skills. Dealing with them has never been a pleasant experience for me, but if you dont mind dealing with onery people once in a while, you should bring your kid(s) here anyway :)
Great gym, friendly people and fun times.
My 3-4 has been doing their pre school class for almost a year. And it’s ok. Having been a gymnast for many years and even coached pre school gymnastics for a long time before having kids I expected more from this gym. They are so focused on the kids pointing their toes instead of just letting the kids have a positive experience. There is a TON of standing around time because the coaches spend way too much individual time on each kid. Over all too much technical work with a bunch of toddlers and not enough basic fun. Also there is no trampoline which I feel is a must with toddler gymnastics
Its not horrible, but it is definitely a very small place and though the teachers try they arent the best. I was not impressed with their Parkour classes at all.Overall impression: Meh.
After a less than stellar experience with the city recreation gymnastics I was recommended by a neighbor to try Jump Up. I submitted the online form for a trial class for my child and was promptly called back. I scheduled an appointment and when we got to the facility they had no record of my appointment. The staff was not helpful. They didnt even try to find out why they had no record of the appointment or try and find someone for us to talk to about it so we left. Due to my dissatisfaction with the experience I called the facility back myself to find out why. I had to leave a message, and unfortunately no one called me back.
This place is awesome my daughter goes there and she loves it the teachers teach really good and they are very kind my daughter is in level 4 and the teachers are still so nice I recommend this place to everyone
We tried the classes (mommy and me, and 3-5 year olds) here two different times, each for a month. Celeste is fantastic, but there seemed to be a negative dynamic with and between the other teachers. It wasnt the best atmosphere and it was not encouraging for the kids. Toddlers need some encouragement and excitement directed towards them, and that was missing here. It was too bad because their set up is actually really great.
